The location is perfect, the air is clean, but the building is not renovated. The dishes and cups in the restaurant are broken, with splinters, the rooms have a strange smell, but the service is very good.

Very secluded and tranquil area to escape hustle and bustle of city life.

Simply magnificent place! All and everything is clean and cared-for, all the utilities work perfectly, food (breakfast, dinner, coffee, jams etc.) tasty and everything with a special twist. Also the area is very beautiful and good for hiking.

Guest house has 2 triple rooms. They are very spacious, very clean , with all amenities and the most important with excellent views . The only problem is that the location is isolated, difficult to find and the road at the last 300 metes is very very bad.

I stayed a couple of nights in one of the cottages. Such a nice place, beautiful viewing from my bed, and soooo good to come back from a long day visiting all the monasteries in the neighborhood and get to a full packed table with. I have stayed at this guesthouse on both of my trips to Armenia, because I knew I didn't want to miss it. The views are great, the place is very clean, the prices extremely fair. I stayed one night in Vallex Hotel. This building was originally the administrative office of Alaverdi Copper Smelting Plant. After shutdown of the plant in 2018, this building was then converted to the current hotel and cafe last year. A very nice, new hotel. Clean. The hotel is located in renovated former factory buildings. A major drawback is that it has no elevator, even though it's four stories high, and there's no staff to carry luggage. Free parking. Breakfast is very good. The restaurant staff is professional.

Tufenkian Avan Dzoraget Hotel is a beautifully architected hotel along the Dzoraget river. It feels and looks more like a castle, which is a positive thing. Nice hotel. The rooms are large. The shower could do with a door or curtain. The room could do with a bin. Someone should stop smoking downstairs as the smoke comes up the stairs and into the room. We booked a room through Booking when we arrived nobody really knew about it. The price was also unknown to the staff. However, the staff was very nice and helpful. There is also a breakfast offered, which was fine. The rooms are comfortable enough for one night. The hotel is not far from the main road, the access road is extremely steep.

I spent two nights in Laguna Hotel. At first I was accommodated in room with acute cigarette odour after complain they moved me into another room- more spacious. Generally speaking hotel is clean, personnel is kind and helpful. Bathrooms are clean, spacious. In my opinion breakfast menu is quite "narrow" but I and my belly we were satisfied with it.

This is the guesthouse with hotel like (or even better) experience. It’s a big house with a beautiful mountain view. The rooms were quite big and super clean. Breakfast was great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Armenia

Out of all the places I stayed in Armenia, this is the best. It was close to winter in November, but the room was warm, spacious. Toilet is really clean. They provide the amenities as well. Guesthouse with hotel level service. The owner is very friendly as well

Magical place! The hosts were so kind that we forgot that we're at a guest house. Had a super cozy midnight dinner with freshly baked potatoes from the woodstove. Rooms were cozy and spacious. If you're in the area, it's definitely the best place to spend a night.

This gem is not far from Yerevan. The cottages are beautiful and spacious, the food is delicious and the view and the gardens are stunning! The ATV tours were so much fun! The hosts were very nice. Each cottage is individually charming and has all the necessities for a pleasant stay.

I had an amazing stay at Van Resort. The service was outstanding and everything was perfectly clean. The complex itself is absolutely beautiful, with a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by nature in Vanadzor. The food was delicious, with great quality and variety.
