Kiparis Hotel in Alaverdi

I stayed a couple of nights in one of the cottages. Such a nice place, beautiful viewing from my bed, and soooo good to come back from a long day visiting all the monasteries in the neighborhood and get to a full packed table with. All local food made by the owner! It’s was great! ❤️ thank you sooooo much !

Simply magnificent place! All and everything is clean and cared-for, all the utilities work perfectly, food (breakfast, dinner, coffee, jams etc.) tasty and everything with a special twist. Also the area is very beautiful and good for hiking.

Guest house has 2 triple rooms. They are very spacious, very clean , with all amenities and the most important with excellent views .
The only problem is that the location is isolated, difficult to find and the road at the last 300 metes is very very bad.

I have stayed at this guesthouse on both of my trips to Armenia, because I knew I didn't want to miss it. The views are great, the place is very clean, the prices extremely fair. Mher and Jula go above and beyond with making you feel like you are a guest at their home. Even just the dinner or breakfast they serve feels like it is a from a 5 star hotel. And they are both absolutely delightful people to spend time with (and their cute doggies!) Loads of outdoor and cultural stuff to do on the doorstep. Already looking forward to my next visit at the Cypress Guesthouse. Cheers guys!

What an awesome place! Absolutely loved the view, the service, and the food there. The host is very welcoming, too.

And the dogs were absolute cuties.
