Centrepoint Holiday Apartments in Caloundra

Located and no more than 5 minutes away from Caloundra’s bulcock beach, the Centre Point apartments made an ideal two night stay for us. Our apartment was on the 5th floor with a balcony providing great views overlooking the ocean and the lagoon. The apartment was bright and airy with a table, a couch, large flat screen TV (with a DVD player and DVD’s) a fully equipped kitchen including a washing machine and dryer and a very comfortable bedroom with plenty of hanging space. The bathroom was modern with a shower, toilet and wash basin. We parked in an underground car park beneath the property and we're able easily to access our apartment via the lift. Using the keys for access took a little time to get used to, but worked perfectly. It was also reassuring to have somebody at the reception desk during office hours who was both friendly and helpful. There was a lovely swimming pool and sauna on the first floor with sun loungers and plenty of space. The Wi-Fi in this property was superb with a download speed of about 70 megabits a second and also a strong upload speed. Quite the best we have found in all our Australia accommodations.

Location, location, location. Sea view, close to coffee, shops, restaurants, art gallery, grocery store, cinema and Sunday market.

There are 2 basic categories of unit in this block. Units that have been renovated internally less than 10 years ago (called STANDARD units) and ones that have been renovated (called DELUXE units). For value you must choose the DELUXE units.

Great location and amenities, but internet could be better. The room was great clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location is excellent, close to everything you need: shops, beach, and dining. The kitchen was fully stocked, which made self-catering easy and convenient. It would’ve been nice to have a bit more coffee and tea provided, like other hotels and apartments tend to offer. The only real downside was the very slow internet throughout the room, which made streaming or working online a challenge. Overall, a solid stay in a prime spot.

Great base to explore Caloundra and the sunny coast, apartment was parrfectly positioned for the beach, markets and restaurants. Great sea views and staff were first class.

The outdoor setting should not be used for a holiday apartment.
The bed was way to hard.
