The morning of arrival. I received a text to tell me there is an active building site next to the property. This was sent after we had booked(nowhere online mentioned this) so it was too late to find somewhere else. I was told the noise would be in the day. which was fine. I was not told that the work would be staring at 6:30am and it would be 10 meters from our door. The floor was covered in sand. The hot water in the kitchen did not work as well as the shower taking 5 minutes to heat up and the fan had no medium setting so it was either crazy fast or basically non existent. The Aircon was controlled by a key on the wall as the remote did not change any settings only off and on. After all this we were then refused the refund. Not happy with this hotel. Comfy bed however, sadly was on wheels so rolled as soon as you got on.

Great place for families, location was good close to all amenities. During our stay we had construction going at the time but it was ok, didn't bother us. Overall it was good place to stay.

This is by far the most disgusting and worst hotel I have ever stayed in, absolutely the worst. Everyone, please don’t ever stay here.

The moment I walked in, the floor was filthy, as if it had never been cleaned. The bed was covered with dried blood stains, the headboard was full of dried nasal mucus, and there were little bugs crawling on the sheets. After sleeping, my whole body felt itchy. Dust was everywhere, as if the place had never been cleaned at all.

The toilet had unflushed feces stuck inside, dark and disgusting. Lifting the toilet lid, it was covered with urine stains. The shower was moldy, the fridge was moldy too, and the cabinets were peeling and falling apart. Honestly, prison would feel far better than this place.

At night there was even a party — a group of teenagers were partying and blasting loud music. It was impossible to get any sleep. And unbelievably, this hotel claims to be four stars.

Needed a place to stay overnight on the Gold Coast. This is the second time I've staid at Browns because of their great value for money. Browns is perfect for a no frills short stay. On site parking is an added bonus.

Older motel, but all I needed for my stay.
Remodeling would be great, being in such a great location was a big positive.
Near to tram and bus services and Pacific fair mall, great for anyone's needs.

Still waiting for my refund from 2016. Went in a 2nd time to sort out the refund. Apparently someone is calling me to sort it out. 8 months ago and counting. They must be super busy

Served my a man names Braya. Worst customer service I've experienced in my life. Ordered a pizza for pickup at 10:20 at night, sitting right outside the shop waiting for over 30 mins while he was staring at me,there were no other customers around to confuse the order.
When eventually I came in to check when it was ready, it had been sitting there for 15 mins, was cold and horrible.
When I asked how long it had been sitting there for, he smirked and said "not long" then just walked away.
This man should not be dealing with the public.
Will not be returning.
