The Rocks Resort in Gold Coast

Overall it was an excellent stay. The view from our room 11E was stunning! The room was a little dated and the bathroom is in need of a refresh, but very comfortable and clean. The only thing that I found slightly annoying was that the TV lost connection quite frequently and kept restarting my show.

Location excellent, look out for e-bike riders , rms excellent, value compared to rest of GC$?fair , Atmosphere, don’t meet many other guest !check in , very privent , info for disabled travellers travelling by them self ! Basement ramp hard to use because of angle way to steep for most ! If checking in with assistance Dog , don’t b surprised if even if u have advised reception of AD that u have a bit of a problem staff are no informed of state laws and think that CB over rules state ledgeation! Thank IID ! Ask for vacuum cleaner ! Some will try to over charge ! Great place to stay !

Friendly staff on arrival, great location across from the beach & close to excellent cafes.

We’ve been staying at The Rocks Resort for many years and it remains our absolute favourite local getaway. The location is unbeatable, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the amenities are excellent. The pool is always beautifully maintained, and being directly across the road from stunning Currumbin Beach is a huge highlight. With great restaurants and the Surf Club just moments away, everything you need is right at your doorstep. The value for money is exceptional, and the natural beauty of Currumbin Beach is simply unmatched. The managers and staff consistently go above and beyond, delivering truly wonderful customer service.

We have been going to The Rocks since it was built in the 1980s. Our kids loved it when they were small. Great location & about the quietest spot on the Coast. Has the best pool in the area. Always the right temperature plus children's pool & spa. All units being independently owned, you are never quite sure whether you are getting the latest modern renovated one or one in the dated decor - but it matters little, as all have good balconies & great views. Staff are friendly and very helpful if you have a problem. Local restaurants great plus plenty up the road in Tugan or you have a good kitchen plus BBQ area if want to eat in.

We stayed in room 11E on the top floor which had been renovated and was comfortable. We only accessed one bedroom and the other room was locked off. The location and view is spectacular. The building itself is dated aesthetically however this is mostly noticeable because it is one of the older resorts in the area. The pool is spacious with comfortable sun lounges - I could have spent all day by the pool. Plenty of shade and a spa too. My husband uses a manual wheelchair and it was accessible around the hotel and pool area, just a bit of a steeper ramp in the car park to get to the lift. We would definitely stay here again. Great spot for families, individuals and couples. Can recommend Tommy’s for dinner, or take a drive to Paper Daisy in Cabarita for an amazing dining experience.

Wonderful resort, gym, tennis court and swimming pools.,great location literally across the road from the beach. Fantastic sea view from every apartment. We try here often and will keep coming back!

Nice new renovated apartment 8D on the 8th floor over looking the pool, great for the epic sunrises! Apartment lacked essentials like kitchen staples, toilet paper, rubbish bags etc we had to go and purchase this sort of stuff ourselves. Not a big deal but for the price of the apartment you would think they would supply more than one roll of toilet paper for the week. Apartment was clean and tidy, beds hard as rock and flat pillows so if you like comfort maybe take your own pillow haha! All the amenities were great, used the pool/spa every day great for the kids and the sauna worked a treat for the slight hangovers. Location is perfect, not too hectic like Surfers or Coolangatta, lots of good cafes, bars and restaurants close by..
