Our 1st nights accommodation at Sorrento Beach Bed and Breakfast was amazing. Our host was a delightful lady who stayed up to hreet us after our flight from Hobart was delayed by 2hrs meaning we couldn't get there till 8.45pm. All the little extra touches made our very long, tiring day, more enjoyable.

I wish I could give this place 6 stars. The host was amazing and friendly. I'm quite shy so it was good to be able to communicate requests via text. The room is huge, was sparkling spotless, would be good for a couple (I stayed alone), there is a gorgeous little balcony I had my breakfast on. The bed is comfy. Lovely place to stay, well set up and walking distance to Hillary (in summer). Bus stop out the front. Very comfortable.

Welcoming hostess, lovely rooms. Spa bath was the best, allowing for a relaxing atmosphere. Bed was comfortable for me and mine. Our hostess made a breakfast that considered gluten- and dairy free needs and was plentiful, beyond standard fare and expectations. Home is well-kept and situated close to the ocean. Thank you for helping us feel welcomed.

We had high hopes for this accommodation but we felt let down over a number of things. View from the balcony was not as expected. A view of a brick wall when a view of the garden was promised, the fruit salad for breakfast was very average, a huge stain on the carpet was disappointing, difficulty reaching someone when there was a power outage as there is virtually no staff visible.

It was a unique and quaint little place to stay. We got a very warm & pleasant welcome on arrival. Even though it was in the heart of Fremantle it was surprisingly quiet at night. Our room was extremely clean and we were able to check in a little earlier. We will be back!! :))

The accommodation at Port Mill was really good. The room was a decent size and a big bonus was the inclusion of a washer and dryer. The breakfast is basic but good enough and the room and bathroom were clean. The location is right in the middle of Freo so easy to get to places. On street parking might be hard to find during the day, but there are plenty of paid carparks around the area. Good value...

This B & B is in a quaint, gated area. Unlucky for us, we were in the Duyfken attic room, facing the back which when sitting out on the balcony looks onto a brick wall, described as Inner courtyard view. I knew before booking we had stairs to climb because this is mentioned but didn't realise there would be so many. Pictures don't show the two narrow staircases with about 13 steps on each staircase...

A great find! A lovely room with a very comfortable bed. AC and ceiling fan was most welcome as it was a hot day. The location is great as it is so walkable. Good advice was given about where to go, eat, park etc. We parked right outside after 5pm and paid the $7 evening fee and left before 9am which was easy and great. Continental breakfast on the balcony was nice. Highly recommended.

Host couple was from Taiwan, very kind and generous. The room is clean and breakfast every morning tastes delicious. You can know many things about Perth by chatting with the host. We had an amazing stay here.

Jeffrey was an amazing host, cooked lovely breakfasts and made us feel very welcome. Its a homely, family place but with the privacy you need. Close to the train station and in a quiet spot. Good location to the airport etc, spacious one bed apartment but very basic fit out in very poor condition, requires serious maintenance, reported the decaying foods in dishwasher and safe locked on arrival but not rectified, patio garden beds were full of rubbish including broken glass. There is poor insulation between rooms——very noisy from upstairs, I would only return if incredibly desperate

The room is overall clean but we saw a lot of cockroaches from the kitchen sink. My husband managed to kill eight of them and had to pour boiling water in the sink to stop them from coming into the room. I told the receptionist when checking out but she told me there is nothing they can do. Hairdryer didn’t work as it bursted out with a spark when plugged in and caused short circuit to the bathroom...

Someone was smoking in the adjacent room. I reported it to the front desk right away, but the staff dismissed my concern, saying they didn't believe me. An hour later, I complained again, and only after I insisted did a staff member finally go to check the room. Of course, they claimed the hotel was fully booked and we couldn't change rooms. Even though they knew the guest was smoking, they just told...

Very average motel, rooms smelled like chlorine and disinfectant very strong. There is no provision in the room to hang clothes, no wardrobe or hooks. Will be first and last time there

It was cheap and I got a room to myself. And brekky was included. And it was pretty close to stuff. They have a "fine" system. I'm not sure if it's actually technically legal or enforceable or whatever but it is fair enough. You should clean up after yourself it's not that bloody hard.

Basic room, but clean, comfortable, well ventilated, and quiet at night. I liked that the room I stayed in had a skylight and vents to let air and natural light in despite the lack of windows. I would have appreciated being shown around a bit more on check in as I only realised on my last day that there was an outdoor area available, when a different staff member was showing another guest around....

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at in Australia. Such lovely people and social, yet you can also keep yourself to yourself when you fancy. Super clean, lovely hot showers and the most gorgeous, lovely hostel manager - Amy; she is so hospitable and kind. The rooms are big and spacious. Reasonable pricing. Big private outdoor area. Just such a nice hostel in general. Wasn’t expecting much but wow...

Staff is amazing and so helpful. The room are clean and tidy and the facilities are perfect. The outside garden is much appreciated when sunny. The hostel is close to everything. I had a lovely time staying there !

Worst hostel ive had in 3 months. My room was next to the kitchen/living area and to the garden. There was noise all night. Beds are the worst. You’ll get no night rest here

Great place well equipped kitchen and the place is very clean. Dale and the team are friendly and the beds are comfortable i was only staying for a week but ended up staying several months.

Great location. Great layout however the room needs the carpet deep cleaned. Furniture has seen better days both on balcony and internal lounge and dining.

The apartment itself was spacious and quite modern. The street was fairly quiet. Staff were very pleasant. Air conditioning units didn’t work (maybe dead batteries??). Bed wasn’t very comfortable & pillows were awful. No hair dryer in the room - managed to track one down from another apartment. No dishwasher. Sleep was limited due to a consistent rumbling sound all night… seemed to be some kind...

The hotel has a great location, very close to Chinatown for food. The room was quite spacious, a one-bedroom apartment with twin beds and a kitchen. The facilities were just okay, but the price was reasonable. The male staff at the front desk was very nice!

Please avoid at all cost. Hidden charges, broken lift, and you be told to read the fine print if you question them about hidden charges.

David on reception was amazingly helpful and is a credit to the company. He also arranged an upgrade to our room which was incredibly kind to room 16. It has a huge balcony with a gorgeous sea view. The bed and pillows super comfy, very nice shower, and huge TV, not that we watched it. The room was also very clean

Good location; right opposite the beach. Room could do with a refurb; decor slightly dated and silicone peeling off in shower. Location dictates lively atmosphere with various bars downstairs. Highly recommend new restaurant, Tiger Fish, that has opened.

Had to check in late but message sent did not contain key box code. At 0400 and then 0330 the following morning someone was dragging furniture around their balcony.

Superb staff, fantastic meal at the restaurant, quiet and safe location near the beach, well-kept older building with art-deco charm. Competitively priced with unique character. Had a great stay and will come back again on the next trip!
