Great location, great hotel, great food in the half-board option! The service is ok; the water in the pools could be hotter… but the views compensate for any shortcomings.

We had a wonderful 7-day stay at Hotel Sonnblick. The staff were fantastic and incredibly attentive throughout our visit. We stayed on the 4th floor, which offered an amazing view of the mountains near Zell am See. We stayed there last week. The hotel staff were exceptional, especially the lovely lady at reception and the two Croatians working in the restaurant/bar. They were so attentive and friendly. The rooms are quite large, all very clean and well maintained; Sauna and indoor pool are all great; The cuisine is excellent, and for breakfast and dinner you cannot eat everything that is offered in delicious dishes. Large and cozy apartments with everything you need in the kitchen. Rituals toiletries. Beautiful views from the window, surrounded by mountains. Convenient location. The ski resort is nearby, and one of the best in Austria, with beautiful scenery. The only downside is the slightly uncomfortable spring beds. But that's the only downside, so I'll still give it 5*.

The town of Kaprun is beautiful, especially with its wintery atmosphere, continuous rain showers, clouds, and fog that blanket the green mountain slopes – truly magnificent! (Of course, we consider it wintery even though it's late May, while for them it's late spring.) This town, along with Zell am See, Salzburg, and the surrounding area, are among the best summer destinations for us Arab tourists...

Recently came back from a weeks Skiing holiday in Kaprun staying at the St Florian Hotel. The hotel staff were great. Very very friendly and accommodating. Location is fantastic, just about perfect I'd say. Food was great, we loved eating locally sourced home cooked style meals every day with the added buffet and continental style breakfast with a good selection. Excellent service, friendly staff, super clean and very convenient location. Breakfast and dinner very good. A 2min walk from the ski bus station, 4min from the Meiskogel lift, even kids did not complain for walking with their skis on their shoulders.

Our family had a great stay at St Florian. Two things really stood out for us: really wonderful warm and welcoming staff and the fabulous location 5 mins from the main lift. Very nice views and good food. They provide shuttle that takes u to Kaprun but not Zell Am See but it’s honestly enough. I like the rooms they’re very spacious and clean. However, the laundry room will be closed at specific times and is far away from our room. We have to walk in the snow to wash our clothes it would be great if there was a laundry room closer by.

Stayed for 1 night in Jan 26 in a double room. Was ok, however room was compact and small so wouldn't reccomend for anymore than a couple of nights. Frustrating that for checking in you need to check in at another location which is a good walk away from where your room actually is.

Stayed in a clean and modern 2-bedroom apartment with friends—well-equipped kitchen and free garage parking were big pluses. Check-in was a 3-minute drive away, and communication with reception was smooth via WhatsApp. No housekeeping, but extra coffee capsules and trash bags were available on request. There was no reception so we paid hotel prices for what was effectively an apartment (without a discount). the town did not have much in the way of restaurants. The hotel property itself was very high quality the food in the restaurant (especially the fondue) was substandard

During our stay, we were literally pampered, showered with attention as if we were the only guests. The property is wonderful, well-maintained, and truly comfortable. The breakfast is superb! Very nice, clean and convenient place. Owners have thought about everything you may need, to make your stay wonderful. One thing which partially spoiled our stay this time, was one petty and inflexible staff on duty, who quite impolitely, didn't allow to take a spoon from the kitchen for a while, to eat one cup of yoghurt.
