Hotel Kaprunerhof in Kaprun

We had a great stay at Hotel Kaprunerhof! The owner was very kind and friendly, and he made sure we felt welcome and comfortable the whole time.

Breakfast was amazing. Petra makes the best omelette we've ever had, fresh and tasty. Great service, friendly staff, and a beautiful place overall. We highly recommend it

I had a perfect stay at this hotel! Everything was so well organized, from the reception to the room and especially the restaurant. Oh, the restaurant…. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and their warm smiles made me want to dine there every single day. The attention to detail and excellent service truly made my experience unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Located up a quiet cul-de-sac a few minutes walk from the centre of Kaprun, this place has a lovely style of it's own. A family run hotel with a more traditional appearance inside and out than others I've stayed in but by no means old fashioned. Comfy beds, great food, good house wines and some great, if sometimes pricey wine recommendations. The best indoor swimming pool I've come across in Kaprun, except for the Tauern Spa. Very clean steam room, indoor sauna and outdoor Finnish sauna hut (with cold bucket shower). Also a pleasant relaxation room. Andreas, the masseur at the hotel does excellent sport/deep tissue massage with very useful free advice included. Well worth booking after hiking or skiing hard. Service is always friendly with both German and English spoken by all staff. If you ask, the staff are very patient and will put up with badly spoken German so you can practice.

Amazing hotel in a wonderful little town. Staff are excellent, helpful, friendly and feel like family staying here. Beautiful facility with lovely spa right on a river with amazing Mountain View’s. Wish we stayed longer.

After a horrible experience with a nearby apartment rental, we decided to pack up and stay at a hotel. I called the hotel and luckily they had a room for three available. Hotel Kaprunerhof was exactly what we should have booked in the first place. Ste­fan and the rest of the staff were very welcoming and helped make the rest of our evening enjoyable. The only downside was we could only spend one night there as we already had other reservations in a different area. We got "the best view in the hotel" and I spent way too long sitting outside watching the lighting over the mountains and listening to the river flow by. It was exactly what I needed after a long day.
If we ever find ourselves in Austria again we will definitely plan a few days to spend some time here and see more of the wonderful area that we didn't have time to see.
