Hotel Erhart Sölden in Solden

This was a return trip to Hotel Erhart and once again it hasn't disappointed us. Clean spacious rooms with lovely views, warm and cosy with all required for a relaxing stay. Our room was cleaned daily and we enjoyed all the food we were offered. Breakfast, spoilt for choice and with so many healthy options alongside cooked bacon and beautiful light and fluffy scrabbled eggs. Meat, cheese, fruits, bread, and the usual cereals plus a squeezer and juicer to make your own fresh uplifting drink. The evening meal was a delight, not rushed and served in by attenuative staff. The imagination and attention in every plate of food is top class and the chef recommends pairings for the wine to accompany the meal and his choice is top notch. We enjoyed every mouthful a real treat and I have brought the menu cards home for inspiration. The wellness area is wonderful and the sauna very welcome after a long day skiing. It was unusually cold for the time of year, you have to respect nature and the mountains and be prepared for whatever the weather. Thank you Alberta and your family for another excellent stay. Also Victoria on reception who kindly wrapped a glass bottle for me to bring home and was very helpful to us during our stay.

Great family run hotel. Fantastic food and service. Very comfortable rooms. We hired a ski locker at the lift station (discounted through hotel) so we had a lovely five minute walk along the river from the hotel to the slopes every day.
Five course dinners and great choice of hot or cold breakfasts.
I can not fault this hotel or the family/staff who look after you. Great experience.

A very nice small hotel with excellent service. Cozy atmosphere, nice lounge and bar area, staff very good, we really felt welcomed. Rooms comfortable and good sized, not modern styled but very cozy, and well equipped to suit our needs apart from no water boiler for making tee / coffee. Food was excellent! Wellness / Spa dept very nice. Ski stall ok, and walking distance to ski bus quite manageable. Located in a quiet area off the afterski bars, no night sleep disturbances.

This is our 3rd visit to Hotel Erhart and it was just as good as our first visit. The hotel is clean, spacious, efficient, friendly and centrally located but quiet. The food is outstanding and so interesting and creative. You choose your meals in the morning and then you are served with a 5-6 course meal every evening. The staff are helpful and kind and nothing seems to much trouble. Highly recommend.

We have just returned from Solden after a week at this lovely hotel in the Oztal valley. We went to ski and relax and had read some reviews about the hotel's food and wine but this didn't prepare us for the absolute feast we were treated to each day. A breakfast buffet offered a varied and plentiful selection of local produce including some organic yoghurts. There were loose leaf teas and an organic herbal selection alongside a coffee machine which made decent coffee and hot chocolate. The milk was delicious and they soaked their own muesli overnight. Avocados, passion fruits, figs, plums, lychees, dried fruits and nuts the list goes on. A machine to fresh juice oranges or cucumber or carrots, all provided. On Sunday there was prosecco to have, what a shame we were going off skiing and didn't want to chance drinking on our first day on the slopes. A hot selection of bacon, scrambled eggs, sausages and a boiler to boil your own eggs. A tray of meats and cheeses plus bread, a toaster, rolls, croissants plus jams, a wide variety of honey - even a whole honeycomb, dripping in beautiful nectar. Amazing. If I could have had some fresh decaffeinated coffee I would have been in heaven. On the Tuesday morning there was special local farm products to choose from from the Oztal Farmers Market - flat bread, different meats and cheeses, fruit juices and cordials, honey and butter. Eppas Guets is the name of this farmers produce collection. The hotel has it's own wine cellar and there was more choice from all over Austria, the south Tyrol, Europe and beyond, plus an extensive cocktails, mocktails and other drinks menu. Our fist meal was a gala dinner with some beautifully cooked food. Mushroom soup which contained porcini mushrooms delicately topped with a foam. A sorbet in sparkling wine, a warm and cold started and the star main of beef as tender as a tornado steak, served on white and green asparagus. The rest of the week we choose our evening meal at breakfast, from a selection of three cold starters, a warm starter, a help yourself salad buffet, a choice of three mains, cheese or dessert. They had four draws for the cheese which contained a many varieties, blue cheeses in one draw, goats cheeses in another, sheep cheeses and other soft cheeses, local specialty cheeses, mountain cheeses - so many different ones it was hard to try them all. The chef has sommelier qualifications in cheese as well as wine and he also made all the deserts. The photos posted here don't do justice and the Italian night was just amazing, the chef cooking scallops, prawns, salmon and gratin mussels, cold meats that he sliced, pizza, pasta meatballs in basil and the most delicious buffalo mozzarella. Amazing Hotel. Experienced this hotel as part of a skiing deal so wasn't sure how accurate the reviews etc were. They were true.

This place is a gem! The Location is Central to most activities, great for quiet walks along river or back of town but still isn't disturbed by noise! The staff were all family and proud of their place- it showed. The rooms, sauna etc were not only spotless but had little touches like a magazine, fruit, water etc. A quiet reading as area, info .. i could go on. The meals were outstanding- traditional, meat/fish and vegetarian offered every night and a breakfast 2nd to none.

But for us, there were 2 defining points ( but there were other moments) ... firstly, I have a particular hearing condition and struggled with the table Location - they helped to accommodate. Secondly, a dessert cake arrived at our table one night. Surprised, we were? It was my wife's birthday - we had said nothing but the receptionist had clocked it. Precious and special thank you!

I actually don't want to recommend this place because, it will fill up! .... and we want to stop here again, when next in Solden.

Beautiful family run hotel. Excellent 5 course dinners and choice of hot or cold breakfast. Only five minute walk to lift station (hire a ski locker at lift - discount through hotel). Very comfortable rooms. Excellent wine choice. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel in a quiet area. Our double room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was rich and varied. The five-course dinners were delicious and innovative, the staff friendly and the atmosphere pleasant. The hotel had a nice wellness area with a whirlpool and sauna.

Super cute alpine style family owned hotel! The staff were so friendly, they spoke good English. Very tidy everywhere. Sauna/jacuzzi/little lounge with some beverages downstairs which was really nice. Dinner was delicious and breakfast was versatile! Hotel was a walking distance from grocery store, slopes, bus stop and village.

Only con was a loud machine (air conditioning or smth) that started every day at 7:00am. We had friends staying in 2 other room at our floor, it couldn't be heard in their rooms.
