Convenient location with a little street night time noise. Cozy and clean atmosphere. Nice rooms and enjoyable to be able to have a view of the Alps and fresh air with open windows. For Americans be sure to bring your own wash cloths. Hair dryers require that you hold down a button the entire time so frustrating experience. Also disappointing that the whirlpool/hot tub portion of the pool was broken. The absolute best part of the hotel and worthy of the stay is the staff and food. Staff are kind, accommodating and professional across the board. Chef and kitchen staff provide excellent food and bar tender is the best!

Everything about this hotel is great, but I had to write a review specifically for the incredible food and staff. After a week-long stay, I’m still thinking about the meals, honestly some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Every night, the chefs prepare your choice of evening meal right in front of you with so much care and attention to detail. The service is just as wonderful and friendly. I'd go back just for the food!!

Excellent hotel! Very good food with a great variety in the evening and at breakfast. Superb dining. Very friendly staff. Very large nice swimming pool. Top hotel price/quality. My son is sensitive to dust and it is carpet in the sleeping room but they come to extra vacuum clean it on request.

As a family of six we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Tyrolerhof over the New Year holiday. We stayed in the basic entry level rooms which were very comfortable. Plenty of storage space and well laid out. We were apprehensive about the buffet dinner arrangement but it worked well and the food was very good. The vegetarian options improved as the week went on. All the staff are very friendly and our waitress Tunde was amazing, remembering our preferred beverages and that we liked two carafes of water at dinner time. There is a charge for tap water which is common in Austria but the water is like nectar! We were very impressed by the service and product offered by Grizzly Sports. Laurin (aka Mr Grizzly) was very thorough in his recommendation of boots and skis for all our party. We all felt the equipment was the best we have ever rented at a ski resort. Some of our party had lessons with Laurin (via his ski school) and he was very patient and explained in an understandable fashion the technique of skiing. We all felt that we had improved following our lessons. If we were to return to Solden, we would have no hesitation in returning to Hotel Tyrolerhof. Great spa too!

We have just returned from a great stay at The Tyrolerhof. Our Flair room was spacious and clean. The spa is great at the end of a day on the slopes, which are reached after a short walk to one of the two main cable cars. We hired skis and boots from the in house Grizzly Sports (very new and top condition for same price as you would pay in InterSport, where the service and kit would be nowhere near as good). The guys there are very helpful. Breakfast and dinners all varied and excellent quality with attentive waitresses/waiters. The Grizzly bar is great for a before dinner drink. Thoroughly recommend this as a place to base your winter holiday.

Great place to stay for skiing. Refurbishment is great quality. Staff are superb. To be able to relax in the Grizzly bar before the evening meal is perfect. I can’t give it 5 stars as the pool is too cold, and the lift will decide to go to any other floor but where you are. All this said, we are returning in March.

The hotel was spotlessly clean. The food was excellent at both breakfast and dinner. The vegetarian option for one of our party was always good, especially considering that Austrian hotels have not traditionally done veggie options well. Each night the main course options were 2 meat dishes, one fish and one veggie. Soup, salad and other starters were all fantastic, as was desert. So much to choose from, I had to try everything! Staff were friendly and all spoke good English. (They we’re very accommodating when I attempted my 35 year old GCSE German!) Walk to the Giggijoch lift was about 4 minutes. The boot room was adequate and had heated boot warmers. The pool was not horrendously cold as some commenters have stated, but not that warm either. There is an option to go full European in the sauna and wellness area, but the sauna nearest the pool was available for those who did not want to be naked, but when in Rome….. Wonderful holiday all round, made better by the hotel and staff. Dora in particular was such a good host. If there was one thing to improve it would be to be able to control the temperature of our room. Given how hot it was, I had to open the window at night, which meant we could hear drunk holidayers into the early hours.

Nice hotel in the center of Sölden. There is an old and a new section of the hotel, make sure to book into the newer part, its insane (not saying that the old part isn't any good). The hotel has everything you need for a relaxed holiday (spa, delicious cuisine etc.) and also has its own - and legendary - 'Grizzly Bar', the best way to spend the later evening together with some friends and some drinks!
