Hotel Atlanta in Vienna

Atlanta Hotel, the classic building from 1895, matches the imperial heydays of the Habsburg monarchy. The Atlanta Hotel is strategically well-located just a few hundred meters from downtown. You simply follow Währinger Strasse, and then you will be at spot 1. Bezirk. With ceilings reaching more than four meters and framed lithographs on the walls, the old-school rooms have a distinct atmosphere. The bathroom is modern, the beds are a bit too low, and the mattresses are hard. Pleasant with thick carpet on the room floor and no noise from the neighbours. The breakfast restaurant is styled “Wienerisch” with an excellent, large buffet that not only includes breakfast but also brunch. The staff is experienced and friendly. There are daily rooms where you can sit and read, moreover the facilities are poor for a 4-star hotel.

Had a great few days with the family and had a very pleasant stay at the Atlanta Hotel. Great location within walking distance to all the sights and a good base to explore the city.

Pretty good

This hotel just outside the city center has a lot of charm. The rooms are older but cozy, fitting well with the building’s character. The breakfast was excellent, and you can also grab a drink from the reception, which is a nice touch. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable stay in Vienna.

This hotel is very unique in an old building, so there are no new hotel equipment except the elevator. Even the room door lock is an old-style key door lock. The breakfast is very good and worth trying. The room is spacious and hygienic, but I am not sure whether all rooms are equipped with air conditioning. Our room did not have one, so the hotel prepared two fans in the room. The transportation is also very convenient. It takes two minutes to walk downstairs to the tram station to access various attractions and stations.

Stayed for three nights with a friend. Situated near the city centre which is easily accessible by tram. Comfortable room and friendly staff. The breakfast was excellent and great value for 12,50€ per person…we had it every day as it really set us up and didn’t need to have a substantial lunchtime meal. Would definitely stay here again.
