You can walk to the center via beautiful hills with many interesting stops and take a bus back at evening. Easy parking and very quiet place.

We originally booked this hotel not knowing that it was on the outskirts of Salzburg. Despite that fact, we were VERY happy to have found it. It's more like a resort, because it has everything you would want as a couple; restaurant/bar, pool, sauna, garden, etc. Their restaurant is amazing, and I read later that it had received a Michelin star. The rooms were about what you would expect for the price (nice). Ours included a balcony. The optional breakfast was great, and I would highly recommend purchasing this add-on. Unfortunately, our itinerary only allowed us to stay one night here. However, we decided that we would definitely stay here again when we visited Salzburg. You should, as well.

stayed for 3 nights in sept. 2010. The room was shabby, the breakfast was sparse, the meal in the on site restaurant was overpriced. would not stay there again.

Beautiful appointed hotel with a lovely pool and sauna. Rooms are lovely Restaurant is excellent and most staff mannerly , friendly and very efficient .However it’s a taxi 20 euro eachtime into the magnificent small city of Salzburg or by bus. You miss out on the ambience of this special place. Rooms are 220 euro per night breakfast is continental although they do do eggs and the jams and juices are delicious. The hotel has probably sound off slot of their land for exclusive housing. This ruined it big time for me as I longed to sit and view those beautiful mountains .

You must try their award winning on site restaurant while there! We will definitely stay here again.

Great place from which to enjoy Salzburg.
Staff are a joy to behold, nothing is touch trouble.
The rooms are of an excellent standard and cleanliness is top rate
The restaurant and wine choice carry on where other more famous hotels finish

Hotel is very nice and very cosy and only 20 minutes by bus from Salzburg city center.

Breakfast is good but it could be a little more varied

However avoid the restaurant; it maybe ok for local customers, but by international standard , it is not.
It is very pricey for what it is and quality and choice of dishes are very limited.

So far this has been our favorite hotel in Austria. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The staff were all friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Their breakfast buffet had an amazing selection of local cheeses, meats, breads, jams, and other items. Most importantly, to us, was the fact that even though they had a lot of occupants the hotel was still very quiet. One night in the summer it did get a little warm but the hotel maid must have anticipated this and left a fan for us in our room while we were out.
