Just beside the river. Very near from the city center. Very neat and clean rooms. Excellent common kitchen cum relaxing area overlooking the beautiful river

Very well organized & comfortable. It's located very close to the local train station which is only one stop away from the main station. The front desk is manned by part time students who are very helpful & efficient.

This hostel is in a perfect location for a summer visit to Salzburg. I was not here as a tourist this trip, it was for personal reasons. Sanja (sp?) and Ian were absolutely wonderful, and I must mention Ruth as well. They were compassionate and extremely professional and helpful. The rooms were very clean, although the windows could use screens so that the dust and bugs wouldn't be so bad. No choice but to have the windows open in the summer. The bikes for rent are new and in perfect working condition. Coffee and tea available all day in the lobby. Room had a kitchenette, and there is also a community kitchen. Anything I needed, I asked and *poof* it was there. I will be returning with family in late September, and was disappointed to find out we couldn't stay here, as it is a dormitory when University is in session. Highly recommended for a summer stay in beautiful Salzburg!

The room was spacious and had a microwave and refrigerator. Complimentary drinks were provided. The hotel had a communal kitchen, and the staff were very friendly. The free Salzburg transportation card was very useful.

The hotel is like dormitory but the location was good just next to train station and 10 mins walk to old town. Rooms very basic but for the price it was good.

We love our stay.
Location: very convenient, walking distance to popular landmarks, right next to the river with a lovely walking path. You can park your car for free during weekend, hotel staff can show you paid parking lots during weekdays
Room and facilities: Room is nice and cozy with welcome drink and juice in the minibar. There is a common kitchen area with bridges and dishes where you can cook and even a share your food to others in case you cannot finish. Washing machine is available as well at the basement, you need to pay 5 Euro for the coin and detergent which is okay. I love there backyard garden where they plant lot of trees, flowers and veggies.
Staff: very attentive and helpful. Always greet you with smiles, apples and candies at the reception is a special touch. They have luggage store as well in case you check in early.

Riverside accommodation with a good atmosphere

It's a bit far from the train station, a 15-minute walk, but very close to Mozartplatz. The hotel is right by the river, offering a nice view and a quiet atmosphere. The room was quite large, as was the bathroom. The only downside was that the bathroom floor was a bit slippery when wet, and I nearly fell a few times while wearing shoes. I'm not sure if it was because of my shoes, but I've never had this happen before with these shoes.

Before departure, I booked a ticket from Vienna Airport to Salzburg Central Station and then to this hotel. I used the QBB software, entered the starting and ending points, and followed the Google map. It was not far to walk, about 800 meters. The hotel is a bit like a youth hostel, very clean and quiet, with a large room, right by the river, with a great view. I went all the way up the mountain and passed almost all the famous attractions in Salzburg. I passed by a chain supermarket, which is also available in China, but I can't remember what it was. I bought a meat patty burger and yogurt for breakfast. It was the first day I arrived, and I had no appetite when I got up because of the jet lag and the long-distance flight on the first day. I walked for an hour and felt that the meat patty burger was great.
