Great hotel with great location
This is a great hotel. The breakfast is awesome The upstairs bar has beautiful wood paneling. The view of the lake from our room was amazing.
the breakfast was amazing, the parking was a bit difficult but i managed to cross
The hotel is in a great location, with beautiful surroundings, great service, and a very comfortable stay. I plan to stay here again next year. The front desk service was also very good, and they were very considerate in booking restaurant reservations and arranging check-in.
Honestly the photos on Trip.com do not justify how beautiful the hotel it. Is an old hotel but beautifully and well maintained. The rooms ., the artistic painting in the passages and so much more is simply outstanding. The front desk was helpful and very efficiently. Honest Zell am See is a must see and stay for the Grand Hotel. Outstanding.
Beautiful views over the lake Lovely stay. Friendly welcome, easy check-in. One of our party upgraded at check-in (not me, it's never me, lol). Beautiful rooms overlooking the gorgeous lake. The half-board option was very good value for money. Very short stroll to the bars (incl Crazy Daisy's which is literally a stones throw away) and Christmas market. I'll definitely stay there again when the...

extraordinarily good food and for all tastes. very clean spa area, small but warm and very clean rooms and attention to detail. I highly recommend this hotel. the twins who served us were very nice and charismatic.
It's the third day in this hotel where we had breakfast and dinner and we are really impressed by the food, the SPA area and the hospitality. The waiters are very polite (especially the twins 😀), the food feels fresh and the complexity of the dishes is extraordinary. The prices of alcoholic drinks are ok but don't miss the fun at the outdoor bar opposite the hotel. All in all for a group of 6 adults...
Fantastic hotel bar with two super friendly and talented bartenders. Rooms were comfortable. Decent pizza place with a warm cozy vibe connected to hotel. Mountain is walking distance and historic zell am see is a quick train ride. The station is an even quicker walk down the street. I enjoyed my stay there very much.
Excellent hotel. Stayed for a shortski and we were not disappointed. Rooms are spacious, beds are excellent, and the evening dinner buffet is delicious. You can store your luggage in a separate locked room (accessible with a badge), and you can even shower there before you leave. The spa area is nice, with 2 saunas, an infrared cabine and a steam bath (nude area) and a swimming pool (with swim wear...
A truly excellent hotel with extremely friendly and accommodating staff. The rooms are typically Austrian and charming. The food is varied and of excellent quality. The ski cellar is fantastic and has excellent boot heating. The bar has a huge selection of drinks and is equipped with an open fireplace... incredibly cozy. Thank you for your hospitality.
Absolutely perfect hotel for Zell am See. Faultless experience. 10/10 rating. 4 min walk to the AreitXpress ski lift. Excellent staff throughout the hotel. Amazing food, especially the 'Michelin star' quality special Christmas dinner. All meals were fantastic, numerous breakfast options, snacks offered between 3-5pm, which is a nice touch for half board, all suppers were first class. Excellent...

Sadly, we were only there for one night and were out at an event. However, the hotel made an excellent impression. The staff were uniformly excellent and professional. The room was very comfortable. They delivered a fine breakfast and all admin was flawlessly efficient.
Tirolerhof We had a lovely time at the Tirolerhof as always. We experienced the usual warm welcome and had a lovely junior suite. The staff were attentive without being too familiar, and are obviously very well trained to a high standard. It is notable that the whole of the Hotel is presented in immaculate condition throughout, cleanliness and maintenance are obviously carried out to a very high standard...
I could not fault our stay in any way, upon arrival our bags were taken to our room, we were given a welcome drink, while our details were taken. From this point on the staff went out of their way to accommodate us and help with any needs we had. The hotel room was large with with a separate room the children attached, the ensuite was also spacious and immaculately clean. The food was delicious with...
Firstly a big thanks to everyone working at Tirolerhof, the hotel has a feeling of home with 5* service. We've stayed at Tirolerhof a couple of times, the food is always high standard, planned and presented at fine dining levels and using locally sourced ingredients. We used the pool and wellness every day (there's a gym and health treatment facilities as well, we didn't quite make it that far), and...
Absolutely love this Hotel. Fabulous location, rooms, staff, cuisine and service. Have stayed over a dozen times over the years ands I just keep coming back.
We have stayed at Hotel Tirolerhof on many occasions and every stay has been first class from the time of arrival until the departure. The staff and service is exceptional and it is always a great pleasure to return to the hotel.

Beautiful view! Very near to Central Area. Very nice and huge shower and toilet.
Unfortunately somewhat disappointing, breakfast selection very small, room was not cleaned…
The location and hotel were great, but the extras were a bit too expensive. Otherwise, everything was fantastic.
We stayed 2 nights in the Hotel. We enjoyed every minute. Service, room, sauna, swimming pool in-and outdoor etc. etc. It was just best to relax after going for a tour around in the Zill am See area. We just not happy with trip.com
I went there because I wanted to use the pool. Our room was in a somewhat older building. It was spacious, had a terrace, and had a clothes dryer, which was nice. However, the bathroom was a bit cramped, which was a bit inconvenient. Everyone was friendly, but the woman in the sauna corner was quite rude (to the point of degrading the hotel's image). The outdoor pool was large, and the water was clean...

We travelled with crystal ski. Flew to Salzburg and then 1 1/2 hour bus transfer. We eventually got to the hotel and checked in via a pleasant team on the reception desk. We took our bags to the room and went for dinner. We were quite disappointed with the size of the room and after dinner had a chat with reception. They were so kind and with the help of the Crystal rep Sophie we were moved the next...
Lovely hotel with excellent facilities and really good food. Breakfast options in particular were numerous and extremely good - fantastic range of tea, coffee, juice, hot and cold items including cereals, meat, cheese, fish, salads, etc as well as made to order omelettes and eggs or pancakes. Unusually the hotel was even better than the pictures made it look. Friendly and attentive staff. Difficult...
Excellent location, friendly, polite and helpful staff. The room was big and clean. The lobby was beautifully decorated with fresh flowers. The breacfast was rich and fresh every morning.
Excellent skiing break at a very nice hotel. We went on a late deal, so it was very good value but there does seem to be quite a big increase in price for earlier bookings. Bar service could be a little slow at times, but overall a great holiday.
The staff at the Alpenblick are both friendly and efficient. The hotel is well positioned for skiing with a bus stop just outside the hotel. The room was huge, spotlessly clean and well equipped. We opted for a Mountain View room which also overlooked the road, with windows open there was some traffic noise but this was pretty much stopped once the windows were closed. The breakfast buffet was of a...
Just a pure joy to stay at, the food was top class with plenty of choice. The resort organised activities that you could take part in, many of which were free or great value. We recently returned from a lovely stay in this excellent hotel. The staff were all incredibly welcoming and helpful, especially Anita who looked after us at dinner service. The food was incredible! The hotel also has brilliant facilities including an immaculate spa with...
It is with regret that I have scored the Romantik average and this is down to a specific experience. We were booked in last week with my daughter her husband and our two grandchildren aged 17 months. I can at least start with the positives. The staff in the bar and restaurant were absolutely amazing. Polite and welcoming. The negative was the room allocated Room 405. Our room was located approximately...
AMAZING!!! The Romantik hotel, Zell am see is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. It is a family run hotel with proud heritage. It has everything you can ever ask for. We have visited the Romantik Hotel / Metzgerwirt for many years and with each visit, it honestly just gets better! Wonderful hotel. All staff were extremely helpful and made everything easy for us, navigating a ski holiday with 4 children. The hotel is beautiful, on the edge of town overlooking the lake, the views are amazing. Waking up to a view of the lake each morning was so wonderful. The rooms all overlook the lake and are both well designed and comfortable. The staff are helpful and friendly when treated with respect. Fantastic hotel located on the shores of Zell Am See - every bedroom overlooks the beautiful lake - our ground floor room with its large picture window with outside decking was perfect for absorbing the beautiful scenery. All rooms have a lake view, so you can enjoy nature even if you are only in the room, making you happy. The breakfast is also great. However, it felt a bit far to walk from the train station with a trunk of luggage.
Great place to stay especially in summer. Great accommodation, clean, friendly staff. Location is probably great for summer, a little out the way for winter. The ski boot room is far too get to inside. Pillows are a little uncomfortable, but other than that everything is great.

Fantastic hotel for families, the photos don't do it justice. The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially Eva and Lenny who looked looked after us all week. A wonderful hotel for our family that met all our requirements. The staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were excellent, in particular the kids play zone which included a soft play. The swimming pool and bar were also fab. It felt safe and the kids enjoyed it.
Positives: All inclusive. A bit limited compared with big Med hotels but handy to have the meals and basic drinks included and probably something there for everyone. Traditional meat dishes, veg, fish, salads, fruit, bread. Breakfast can be made into picnic lunches to take in the paper takeaway bags, otherwise you need to register for lunch by 10am if you want lunch at the hotel. The 3-5pm cakes...
We travelled as a family of 4, children age 9 and 12, in August with TUI. Overall we had a great time in Zell Am See. It's a great base with plenty of amenities. We didn't really get to see our TUI rep. He was around for one Sunday at 9.30am at a location about 10-15 minute walk from our hotel - so not overly convenient. But thankfully we didn't really need his assistance (which was good as we weren...

We stayed at the Hotel Der Waldhof in January 2025. Our group was a mixed group of six friends (all roughly in our 40s) on a skiing trip to Zell Am See. 2nd visit 31/1/26 - Excellent location - 2/3 mins to cityXpress, another couple of minutes to town centre for bars and restaurants. Spacious and clean room. Breakfast was very good, great choice, with attentive service. Spa facilities great after a day on the slopes! Will stay again on our next trip to Zell.
Really loved the breakfast. Every morning you can order a delicious fresh omlet. Spacious sauna area with a warm pool to relax in after skiing day. Very nice!
There is no air conditioning, but when opening the windows, flies or mosquitoes did not bother. Very quiet for sleeping, despite the noisy river, excellent internet, not far from restaurants and the city. The room was clean. Close to the highway
We had a 3 day stay in Zell am see. The location was a quick 10 minute walk to the city center and therefore away from the crowds and noise. It is a great hotel if you get used to do self check in. If you don’t familiar to self check in or those machines, it would take you some time. Personnel very helpful , but placed in the Romantik hotel nearby - they work in cooperation. Clean and convenient to visit the site .very essential in terms of service but for a week end it offers a good price to quality ratio. Recommendable for short stay.
This hotel, along with its neighbor the Metzgerwird, is part of a group of interconnected hotels owned by the same family/company. The Fischerwird is an old hotel that has been updated with some hip new decor, and a trendy new English-ish name “Fish’Inn.” Although the rooms are nice enough, the lack of a person at the reception is a bit of an inconvenience when checking in. Very friendly staff; clean, modern rooms. Food is good though not very special. The included "Sommerkarte" gives free access to ski lifts, busses and even the boat trip on the lake. There are some hiking options straight from the hotel, or by first taking the ski lift in Schmittten, a 15-20 minute walk (downhill, so on your way back up it will take somewhat longer). Not the best option Hotel has friendly staff, easy parking, and nice breakfast. But the condition is worn, the location is noisy on a busy road, and noise from hallway and floor above are a concern. Shower water temp varies dangerously at times.
Calm and relax Two nights in the hotel without any problem. The staff were amazing and helpful. It is very close to city center (and I believe we wouldn’t be closer then this). The city is crowded especially in weekends. The breakfast was really good. Generally we liked our stay here and definitely recommend for your visit.
Overpriced for the quality I’m surprised by the overall high rating of this hotel. While it offers convenient parking (€8/night) and a decent breakfast, my one-night stay was underwhelming. What an amazing hotel staff and owners are brilliant couldnt do enough for us on our third visit to the hotel - we managed to get a booking in the restaurant this year as booked out on previous visits - and by far the best food we had all week !!! Looking forward to the schnapps and chats next year Ronan and aine
Stayed at Hotel Seehof as part of a package ski holiday with my son. Staff were very friendly, twin rooms basic but comfortable and clean. We did half board and the breakfasts and dinners were good. Within easy walking distance of the ski-lift and conveniently located in the village with beautiful views of the lake. There is a Trainline just outside the hotel but we did not find that at all disturbing

We stayed here over Christmas while skiing, 1st impressions were warm and welcoming. This is a gem of a hotel, fantastic friendly staff and very clean. The bar and restaurant are lovely, the food is amazing. We ate here twice and both meals were equally the best we had all week. Great location, close to bars etc. we had a lake view room and you need the earplugs (provided) as the trains run all...

We arrived in the evening. Check-in was OK, based on received instructions. We got afterwards excellent dinner and have to highlight super staff. All really delicious!! Breakfast was with surprise pancake for our little daughter and again, staff were kind and smiling. We expected beautiful location and it’s even better. Sauna in our suite is also great. We highly recommend this place and will come...
Seehotel Bellevue is a beautiful hotel with stunning views and an amazing location right by the lake. The atmosphere is peaceful, the surroundings are breathtaking, and everything is within easy reach. A perfect place to relax and enjoy Zell am See.
No breakfast, no lunch, no dinner, no service person on-site, no bar no ice. No refrigerator only one plug at the bed for the need of two devices. Refrigerator only works while you're in the room. The hotel is like a gold ring in a pigs snout. Addendum: There is a refrigerator in the room; but upon complaining to management and then receiving a second room neither refrigerator in either room works...
The must is the great view from the room! Breakfast is also good with a helping staff. Otherwise you must know that the rest of the hotel is quite left as it is with almost no maintenance and no physicla receptionist. As it is quite new it's okay but I hope they'll pay attention to it in the time. We had a good stay anyway
A hotel with a spacious room in an excellent location, wonderful service.
Excellent, calm, stylish and trendy hotel right by the Zeller See. Private beach accross the street. Great lake and mountainviews. Restaurant and bar on premises. Spa as well (no pool). Excellent food at the resgaurant and all necessary amenities in the room.

Overall is a good place to stay for skiing. We had the 2bedroom and 2bathroom apartment. Spacious. It says free parking but I’ve been charged parking when I checked in, it’s not much under $10euro so I didn’t say anything.
The room was clean and the balcony, along with two bathrooms were beneficial to our stay. The sauna was also nice to enjoy. I have two complaints for this hotel. The female staff (young Caucasian with brown hair) was a bit rude to me when I checked in. I told her my party of 6 were instructed to park our two vehicles outside of the hotel. She immediately got contentious with me and said I probably...
It was a great stay, great view of the mountains and easy way to the slopes
Very nice apartments. Had a 2 bedroom apartment with two bathrooms and large kitchen/ living area. Boot room very good and v short walk to ski lift . Paid extra for breakfast and it was well worth it.
Lovely spacious apartments which were very clean and well equipped. Friendly and helpful staff. Good central location near to the bus and train station, cable cars and town. Lots of room for families with living space and a kitchenette. Ski depot to store any ski equipment.
spacious apartment, well appointed. comfy beds and heated floors. close to ski lift.

Lovely hotel. Rooms spotlessly clean. Beds very comfy. We got a room with a view of the town, absolutely beautiful! Huge selection for breakfast. The 4 course dinners were fabulous (we were HB). Staff were really friendly, helpful and accommodating throughout. Special shout out to Nik the waiter, who was really kind and funny, the children loved him! Would definitely stay here again.
We just spent an amazing week st this hotel Through Crystal ski holidays The hotel is spotlessly clean Beds super comfy The food was outstanding Staff professnal and friendly Alexander was great, and his Martini cocktails were fabulous The spa was a lovely treat several of our group used it to relax afrer a day on the slopes... Good points: - Close to the lift, walk or if you are feeling lazy, catch the free bus. - Regular buses down to town and back. - Ski in and out down to the Cityexpress lift in good conditions. - Restaurant standard food. - A hearty breakfast with plenty of choice. - Professional staff and attentive in the restaurant. - A reasonably priced option is available in the Annex By Zillners next door. ...
Nice friendly hotel and B&B, rooms nice, clean and comfortable beds. The food is ok. Buffet breakfast, plenty for everyone. You have to choose what you would like for your evening meal the night before, not a problem. It’s a quiet hotel. No bars or restaurants near by. The town is a quick bus ride away, number 71 bus takes you to the bus station in town. Lots of bars with music. The Gondola is...
We were very positively surprised about the hotel’s performance and appearance. Seen hundreds of hotels but this made an permanent impression. The hotel performs excellent in all relevant aspects. Clean and very nice staff. Breakfast is very good and half board very well planned and tasty. The hotel is located ca 1,5 km west from the city – up the Schmitten valley with superb Alp views – in all directions...
We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this hotel, booked through Crystal. The hotel is right next to the slopes so we could ski in and out! The staff couldn't have been more friendly & helpful, the chef even went up the trouble of making our daughter a birthday cake on his own time! The food at breakfast and dinner (half board - 4 courses!) was delicious. We stayed in the annexe which although a bit small...
