Reviews
We stayed at this hotel as a larger group, and unfortunately our experience was deeply disappointing from the very first evening.
On the first night, a member of the staff banged aggressively on the reception desk and shouted at the children in our group. They should have talked to us first - the parents. This behaviour was completely inappropriate and unacceptable in any hospitality setting, and we have never experienced this behaviour before.
After the first night, the temperature in the rooms was extremely low (around 18°C). When we asked for the heating to be increased, we were told that if we were cold, we could receive an extra blanket. That is not a solution. We did not need more blankets — we needed a properly heated room. Sleeping in such low temperatures is simply not acceptable for paying guests.
The attitude towards our group was noticeably unwelcoming and cold. At the same time, we observed a completely different, much friendlier attitude towards Austrian tourists. The contrast was obvious and unpleasant, a little racist.
Even more concerning, one of the reception staff members physically struck and filmed the children. This is absolutely shocking behavior and entirely unacceptable under any circumstances.
The food was mediocre at best. Several members of our group experienced stomach problems after eating at the hotel, which raises serious concerns about food quality and hygiene standards.
Additionally, there is no ramp to bring luggage into the hotel. Guests are forced to carry heavy bags up the stairs, which is extremely inconvenient, especially for larger groups.
Overall, this was a very negative experience. Hospitality means respect, communication, safety, and basic comfort — all of which were lacking here. I would not recommend this hotel to nobody.
We booked well in advance for a large group of around 100 people, mostly families with children. The hotel was informed ahead of time that we would be traveling with children, as all guest details were provided prior to arrival. However, from the moment we arrived, we felt that children were not truly welcome. They were repeatedly told not to play in the lobby, and the tone used by some staff members was unnecessarily harsh. There were also situations where staff physically intervened with children (pulling an ear, pushing), which we found inappropriate and unacceptable. We believe hotel staff should never physically handle guests’ children.
Housekeeping was also below expectations. Dirty towels left outside the room were not collected and remained there. A cup with cocoa and milk stayed in the room for four days without being cleared. Additionally, coffee capsules in the room were not complimentary and cost €3 each, which felt excessive for a hotel of this standard.
Another disappointing aspect was related to dining arrangements. We requested 10 additional seats at dinner (we were willing to pay extra) for other organizing colleagues, but the hotel refused, even though there were clearly many empty seats at multiple tables each evening. This lack of flexibility was surprising, especially considering the size of our group and the overall booking value.
The hotel itself is visually very nice, but the atmosphere created by the staff felt cold and inflexible. Hospitality is about making guests feel welcome and understood, and unfortunately, that was not our experience.
For families traveling with children, this may not be the best choice. It might be more suitable as an adults-only hotel, as it did not feel child-friendly during our stay.
We truly regret that such a beautiful location is overshadowed by this type of service. Sadly, we would not choose to return.
You can store your luggage in a separate locked room (accessible with a badge), and you can even shower there before you leave.
The spa area is nice, with 2 saunas, an infrared cabine and a steam bath (nude area) and a swimming pool (with swim wear).
Recommended for your winter sport holiday (and it's probably just as nice in summer too).

First - hotel is not located in Zell am See, you will pay 10 EUR for each trip to zell am see center. The first trip with local taxi was turned up into disappointment Account system in the taxi showed 17 Eur insted actual price 9 Eur for same trip (taxi has been offered by recieptionist of hotel).
Austrian managers and visitors block visit sauna with children(under 14) - they provided internal rule, there is should be silence, but this rule doesn't allowed by theyself. -> I saw and heard talks in sauna rooms and austrian(may be german) kids few times.
I'm going next year to Zell am See -> I wouldn't stay in Latini. Sorry, without me.
