Our stay at Hotel Seehof was wonderful! The lake view is absolutely stunning, and the location is perfect—just a short distance from the center of Zell am See. The hotel manager and her staff were extremely helpful and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Having their own parking was also very convenient. Highly recommend this hotel!

My 3rd stay at this lovely family run hotel.It's small, pretty,warm and comfortable.Staff are friendly and helpful and Anca,the young waitress,is very entertaining.The food is excellent,love the breakfast in the dining room overlooking the lake.Dinner choice is limited, choice of 2 main courses,one being vegetarian,and was quite salty.Several guests mentioned this and the chef did take notice.We were disappointed that ice cream wasn't available.Zell is quite small so the hotel is near to all amenities.I don't ski but there are lovely walks,free local transport with the free guest pass from the hotel.This took me on a 3 hour journey to the Krimml waterfalls and back.Innsbruck and Salzburg are about 2 hours by train with cheaper prices than the UK.Already have next year planned.

Stayed at Hotel Seehof as part of a package ski holiday with my son. Staff were very friendly, twin rooms basic but comfortable and clean. We did half board and the breakfasts and dinners were good. Within easy walking distance of the ski-lift and conveniently located in the village with beautiful views of the lake. There is a Trainline just outside the hotel but we did not find that at all disturbing.

We stayed here over Christmas while skiing, 1st impressions were warm and welcoming. This is a gem of a hotel, fantastic friendly staff and very clean. The bar and restaurant are lovely, the food is amazing. We ate here twice and both meals were equally the best we had all week. Great location, close to bars etc. we had a lake view room and you need the earplugs (provided) as the trains run all night. We would definitely stay here again

Very nice hotel, great rooms and very clean. There is a railway in front, but it did not bother us, and for those who need it, there are earplugs by every bed. Breakfast is very nice, and has all you need, and the SUPER friendly staff, will make what is not there. A shame there is not open at the restaurant, not even for a beer, but they do have a wending machine, it is just not the same. Hopefully that will be looked into for next year. Very nice and very helpful owner.

We had a lovely stay in the Seehof. Room was mountain facing, basic but spotlessly clean. Breakfast was buffet and had something for everyone. Our room didn't have a balcony but there is a lovely terrace on the 1st floor where we spent a lovely few hours late afternoon each day watching the boats and a water display on the lake. No bar but vending machine in reception sold beer, wine and snacks.

What a great week we've had at the Seehof! Beautiful hotel with great staff, great food and great views. We had a room with a mountain view, gorgeous. Bed was comfortable, bath and shower in the bathroom. It was amazing. We took a boat ride on Lake Zell, a trip to the great Grossglockner Alps and to the village of Hallstat. Stunning views! Weather very hot and sunny all week. This hotel is highly recommended, the owners are lovely people and very helpful and the breakfast area has great views towards lake Zell. Danke for your hospitality Seehof and staff, our vacay was amazing with you guys. We hope to see you next year 🇦🇹🧡

Very friendly administrator. Mrs. Segel, the owner of the hotel, is also very friendly and attentive to detail. Breakfast was good and the room was clean. What we especially liked is that you can use the Alpenblick's wellness area and that the hotel is a summer card partner.

My friends and I have stayed at this hotel for the last 4 years now and love everything about it. Ursula and the team are so friendly and helpful and cater for all your needs. There is always 5/6 of us so we always use one of the big rooms which is just perfect for a group of men. The location is excellent with everything you need on your doorstep and the gondolas only a simple 10 minute walk. The hotel also has spa facilities which is always nice after a long days ski (or late night!). Booking with Ursula is easy and we will continue to use this friendly, clean and convenient hotel.

Such an awful experience. Not comfortable at all. Very noisy and you can’t sleep all night. Absolutely very rude staff! Elevator doesn’t reach 3rd floor onwards. Breakfast is not fresh nor edible. We won’t consider visiting Zell am See again because they really made us hate it. Very racist to Arabs and Muslims.
Doesn’t deserve even a single star. What a waste.
