Avoid the bar at Aiola Living if you're looking for an afternoon coffee. We were there this afternoon and found a seat in the long, dimly lit space. However, because the tables are so close together, you're practically sitting shoulder to shoulder with your neighbors. The two cappuccinos we were served turned out to be weak, milky coffees with no foam. At €4.50 each, it's a real rip-off, and I can only warn everyone against venturing into this dump for coffee. There are several wonderful cafes nearby, such as Herzog on Herrengasse or the lovely Cafe Weitzer – both bright and welcoming. P.S.: To be fair to the staff: the service was very friendly, but powerless against the subpar barista.

The food was mediocre, and the assigned seat in a window alcove (certainly not officially designated as seating) despite other free seats was unacceptable. The receptionist was arrogant and told my husband, "Get your wife back," after I had already looked around the restaurant. That's no way to treat guests. The service was attentive but completely overwhelmed. It was a truly unique experience. I think this hotel, restaurant, and lounge will no longer be relevant for me when considering a stay in Graz.

Short stay at a design hotel in a prime location. Unfortunately, there are no affordable parking spaces, and the hotel's dark design feels rather drab. Breakfast is meager.

We stayed at the Hotel after a Ball. The location is perfectly central, so you only venture a short distance to your much-anticipated room. The furniture is contemporary, classy and of high quality. The dark colours make for an interesting and envigorating atmosphere. Only the sound-proofing could be a little better.

GERMAN Disappointing treatment of regular guests - we won't be back My husband and I are in Graz every two weeks for work and have already stayed at Aiola Living several times. After a smooth stay, I booked two more on site - including a confirmed credit card. Despite this, our next booking during a long weekend (public holiday) was canceled - allegedly because we had missing payment details. That would have been bearable - but the way we were treated was simply disrespectful. On the phone, my husband was fobbed off in an unfriendly tone, with comments like: "Not everyone has a vacation." In the end, both bookings were simply canceled because we "didn't decide quickly enough" - with the statement that we would no longer be welcomed as guests in the future. A problem that could have been resolved amicably in two minutes became the reason for them to get rid of us. Very disappointing. Absolutely unprofessional for a hotel with these standards. We certainly won't be coming back. ENGLISH Disappointing treatment of regular guests – we won’t be back My husband and I travel to Graz every two weeks for work and have stayed at Aiola Living several times. After a smooth and pleasant stay, I personally booked two more visits directly at the hotel – including providing our credit card details. To our surprise, our next booking was canceled during a public holiday weekend – apparently due to missing payment details, even though the card had already been confirmed in person. The real disappointment, however, was how the situation was handled: My husband called after the weekend and was treated in a very unfriendly tone. He was told, “Not everyone is on holiday,” and both bookings were canceled simply because we “didn’t decide fast enough” – ending with the statement that we were no longer welcome as guests. A simple issue that could’ve been resolved in two minutes was turned into a reason to dismiss us. Extremely unprofessional for a hotel that positions itself as high-end. We won't be returning.

A very nice and cozy restaurant and bar. The atmosphere in the restaurant and bar is pleasant. You immediately feel at home. The selection of drinks, cocktails, and food is outstanding. The friendly and competent service staff is particularly noteworthy.

I chose this hotel at the last minute based on the mostly positive reviews and its location, right in the historic center. It's a new hotel, with beautiful photos... in short, the choice was made. But my expectations were immediately dashed: I received a terrible welcome from a young woman alone at reception, who assured me that the third bed would be made by 9 pm, when her colleague would arrive. We went out for dinner and, returning at midnight, the room was still there, waiting. They offered me a crib, despite my daughter's stated age and the physical presence that left no doubt that she wasn't a baby! A 20-minute conversation (I was very annoyed and nervous) and a request for help moving the bed finally brought the famous bed to light (sheets aside). This was unacceptable and unacceptable from a hotel that presented itself as a hovel. To compensate for the inconvenience, they offered breakfast the next day (which wasn't up to par).

A lovely boutique hotel in the heart of the city, which made walking around the city very easy. Staff were helpful, The duplex room was spacious and had multiple seating areas as well and the superior room size was also good and both were nicely decorated. They had a restaurant that served a good breakfast, and other meals / drinks /snacks. Graz is a beautiful city with a lot to see and experience. Many good restaurants to choose from, yet a booking is highly recommended to find a table.

This hotel is excellent. Great central location. We had a lovely suite which was very comfortable and had great amenities. All the staff were very friendly. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. We hope to go back soon. Highly recommend.

An absolute pleasure to stay here! The dogs had their own welcome package and beds ready and were treated as princesses! The room is stunning, beds are like a dream and the breakfast to die for! We truly enjoyed every minute of this well designed beautiful hotel, a treat for people that love home designing!!
