White Boutique Nizami Hotel in Baku

Stayed in this hotel in May 2024. Excellent location on Nizami St. Located on 2nd floor. You enter through stairs or use narrow, old elevator. Be prepared to carry your luggage upstairs through narrow stairs if elevators in use.
Don't be deceive by photos. While the rooms are big, they are old and dated.
They offer breakfast but no dining area- you need to eat in your room and it takes a while as you have to ask for it and they have to prepare it - skip the food just go eat at the restaurants down stairs.
They may not have fresh towels when you need them.
When you get to the hotel you will be asked to make full payment before they even let your enter your room. Their credit card reader doesn't necessary work. We didn't have any problems using our credit card else where in Baku. They will insist you pay in cash and will even accompany you to the nearest ATM machine.
Not worth the price they are advertising. My advise look for hotels around the corner that have a lobby on the street level.

If you want to stay at Nizami Street, this guest house converted hotel is suitable with given star. Otherwise you might find good option with reasonable rates. Staff are school kids who don't want single extra benifit to be given to guest. Hotel need lot of repairing and maintenance to be done.

We booked this hotel through ***********. We booked early and got a good price. A couple of weeks before the stay they cancelled our booking and put the prices up. We tried to complain through *********** but they said that the hotel would not change their mind. Very bad service. While in Baku we went into the hotel. It looked very run down, like a lot of the ‘boutique’ hotels in the area.
