Elite Crystal Hotel in Manama

One of the most miserable hotel stays I've had in a long time. I'm not sure how this is a 4-star hotel with 8/10 ratings. Rooms are very old; mine still had a DVD player connected to an old TV. Paint was cracking. Master bathroom seemed to be missing part of the shower glass door, so the floor was soaked everytime I took a shower. Mix-matched towels in the bathroom. Kitchenette had no kitchen stuff in it. Worse part was there's a club in the hotel, and I guess my room was very, very close because all we heard was loud, thumping music until 3AM. It was miserable, and my lady let me know multiple times that the hotel was my pick and she would never let me forget it.

Staff was polite, though. They even tried to help me find a new, more pleasant room, but none was to be found.

Highly advise to just stay away. There are nicer and newer hotels in the same price range.

Stay away from this terrible hotel. I don’t think it can even be called a hotel. Rooms are disgusting and filthy. The rooms smell of smoke. I was put on the smoking floor without asking me or giving me a preference.

The club was insanely loud and there was non stop music playing in other people’s rooms.

I have no idea how they’re still in existence. Ive never written a bad review for any hotel, and ive stayed at motels as well. This one was just the worst and that too in such a friendly and clean country like Bahrain.

Everything just felt filthy staying there. I disliked it so much i checked out early and went to a different hotel in the Bahrain bay.

Stay away.
