Since I first came to this hotel a couple of years ago, I’ve never stayed anywhere else. The service is consistently excellent, and the hospitality is simply perfect. This was in Juffair which is a party district, but I was on the 12th floor so luckily couldn't hear the noise from the various night clubs in the hotel. The mall next doors doesn't have much in it , but the location is pretty close to most places and convenient. I wouldn't really stay here with family, but it's perfect for a 1 night transit.

The location is good, with convenient public transportation. The hotel is rather old, the facilities are outdated, but the cleanliness is acceptable. The bar downstairs is very noisy, probably going on until 2 or 3 AM, and the soundproofing is very poor.

It's close to the bus terminal and the market, so it's great for sightseeing. The night view is beautiful. However, the bar next door is quite noisy at night.

Everything was good regarding the hotel. Location is good for shopping. Reception staff were helpful. But I do not expect this kind of behavior from the egyptian duty manager who had followed me to the pool and asked my room key card. It is not a good idea to approach the guest like that.

Moorish style hotel- bit frail on the edges, bathroom require upgrading with low water pressure and lukewarm hot water supply. Ok for a couple of days Area is downtown near the Bahrain Gate and local souk. For a total chill and relaxation I would recommend Seef or near to the Avenues Shopping Mall.
