Despite informing the host in advance that we would be delayed due to snow, we were met with irritation rather than courtesy. There was no welcome only complaints about our arrival time and a refusal to check us in properly. The “reception” doubled as a collection point for dinner packages, hardly befitting a guesthouse. Room lighting was inadequate and partly broken. Breakfast and location were moderately okay. Hospitality was entirely absent. If guests are viewed as an inconvenience, this establishment should reconsider operating as a bed and breakfast. Strongly not recommended.

We had a great stay at La Boulinière. Breakfast was amazing, the owners were very friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and had a great shower.
Only negatives: the pillows are really thin and we could have done with an extra one each (I probably could have asked so this is on me), and the mattress was very firm. Although I’m used to a firm mattress, I did have difficulty sleeping because of it. But of course, this comes down to personal preference.

I stayed at La Bouliniere from 10-12 February. The host / owners don’t give you a friendly welcoming feeling.
Since 4 weeks now I try to get my shirt back I forgot on the wardrobe in my room. I have called, SMS and emailed multiple times, but have not received any answer back.

Such a lovely place!
Already amazed at the entrance.
Lovely host, such a nice room with an amazing view! Breakfast was really good, a big variety of fresh products.
Definitely will be back again.

Hidden Gem.
Very tranquil place at this time of year , maybe busy in the summer, families type place , lovely contemporary room , open fireplace bungalows available also , lots of walks and cycle routes ,pool and wellness abit dated and the only negative were the restaurant staff ...maybe just a bad day .

Two nights in the woods
Nice place, great surroundings. Friendly and service minded staff/owners. Clean rooms, nice indoor swimming pool, decent restaurant. Charger for electric vehicle available. Breakfast started a bit late (8:30).
