The hotel is very conveniently located, close to the center. Thank you very much to the employees for a friendly atmosphere, I would be glad to stay at your hotel again! And of course a huge thanks to the lovely cat Pasha, he really likes guests!

We arrived and were given a room with visible, strong mold on the walls. The air smelled damp and unhealthy, and it was clearly not safe – especially with a small child. When we complained, the only alternative room offered was extremely small and not suitable for a family. We had no choice but to leave and find another hotel. Despite this, the hotel charged us for the night and later marked the booking as a “no-show,” which is completely false. Avoid this place – health risk and very poor service.

Very nice little hotel in a good part of the city to go exploring. Enjoyed my time there.

As a woman in her 20s traveling alone, I had a lot of concerns when choosing a hotel. Places near the city center were sooooo expensive / I was reluctant to stay at a hostel because it was inconvenient / I didn't like places with bad security or poor cleanliness in the alleys around there, so there weren't many places that were possible ㅜㅜ
To conclude, this place was really great!! I think it's a good place with no major issues for the price.
1) 24-hour reception, friendly and clean check-in and check-out, and email inquiries are answered right away.
2) A brief introduction to Brussels city center is given upon check-in.
3) Breakfast with bread, fruit, and coffee is provided.
4) Coffee pot, hair dryer, refrigerator, and simple tea bags or coffee mixes are provided in the room.
5) Small but clean and quiet room interior.
6) Access to the main city center is right in front of the hotel, 10-20 minutes by bus 65 or 66, and 10 minutes by bus 61 to the North Station.
It's not a fancy or perfect place, but I'm really satisfied. If there's anyone in their 20s or 30s or solo travelers who's having trouble, I hope this review was helpful!!

Just what is expected from a budget hotel. The rooms are good however there is scope of improvement. Beds are comfy. Bathroom is clean and is of good size but the shower room is very tiny. Most disappointing was the breakfast. Nothing bad but the choice is limited. There is no freshly cooked food just ready to eat items like corn flakes, fruits, bakeries, etc.

Located in a largely ethnically Turkish neighborhood of Brussels, the Hotel Meribél is located not far from the Brussels Nord station (one stop to the airport), the Botanical Gardens, and the Botanique metro stop. It is about a 20-minute walk to the Grand Place down the Rue Royale.

The property itself looks to be renovated in a building constructed for another purpose, and my room was on the small side (though fairly typical for this kind of family-owned property). There was plentiful hot water in the shower, the bed was comfortable, and there is a small backyard off the dining area off the lobby.

Continental breakfast begins at 7:00 on weekdays and consists of a variety of sliced meats, cheeses, vegetables, and fruits, with cereal, yogurt, and dried fruits along with a variety of fresh (as in brought in from the bakery each morning) pastries and breads, juices and milk. There is a coffee machine available 24/7.

While I did not find the neighborhood to be unsafe, one walking routes from Brussels Nord to the hotel takes you through the red light district. If you like pide (Turkish pizza) and similar foods, there are many good dining options close at hand. It’s not far from the Rogierplein and two very popular (but touristy) shopping streets.

It was a nice stay for 3 night . 20 minutes walk to downtown. It was good for me and accepted. Nice breakfast , small room but ok for 1 person .

Thank you

The hotel was good overall for the price. The staff is very helpful, nice and friendly. The area is a bit sketchy, specially walking from Gare du Nord
