In short, looking for a few carefree days in Bruges? Then this hotel is highly recommended!!
Regarding the staff, we had a mixed experience. Some of the reception staff were very polite and helpful, but some were unnecessarily rude. The bartenders, in particular, left a negative impression. The fact that the same person was in charge of both reception and the bar in the evenings also somewhat lowered the quality of service.
Although we were told we could use the garden, it was unpleasant that they made a fuss when we wanted to sit there in the evening. Also, the fact that the same ashtray remained on the table in the garden for 3 days without being emptied created a poor image in terms of cleanliness. Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with the overall cleanliness either.
Location excellent with only a few minutes walk to the main town square.
Room is a good size and the bed is very comfy.
No restaurant on-site for other meal periods, however, is very close to the main square with all other restaurants.
SPA is a nice addition to the hotel, if you can extend the opening hour will be even better.
