3 star hotels in Rio De Janeiro

This is my second time here, and it’s always a pleasure. The wifi has improved immensely since my last visit, which was a pleasant surprise. Charles is a huge help and takes care of his guests, but all the staff is wonderful. The view of the beach is unparalleled.

The hotel is quite old and needs renovation, but that's ok, if you book here you know and accept that. What is not acceptable is that nowadays the wifi of the hotel is non existing......meaning it is there but it doesn't work! In the room (second floor this time) it did work only during central hours of the day; no way to make it work early morning or evening. At the ground floor (reception) it works...

I stayed on the second floor. Given the security situation in Brazil, after checking my room, I found the balcony door lock was broken. I had to use my phone charging cable to tie the handle and make a knot. Luckily, it was only for one night, so I just let it go.

Very rude employees. Unfortunately I had problems with my stay and they didn't care and helped resolve them. There is no empathy in this hotel, management should review its employees at reception.

The breakfast does not have a good layout for moving around the room, the buffet is located in various positions in the room. Room service drinks are expensive and parking is expensive, there is no rotating parking option. Regular hotel with helpful staff. The rooms need a paint renoval and the breakfast could be improved. Location is OK if you're planning to spend the days in Copacabana only.

The facility is old. The water pressure is strong and it is not far from the beach, so you can get there in 10 minutes on foot.

It looks a little better in the photos. The staff is super attentive. Very friendly. But there are many improvements to be made to the facilities.

I do not recommend! For this money you can book a very better hotel, for example Nobile. The photo shows the state of the room, also where are the sockets of the bedside table, there is no kettle and there is no drinking hot water in the entire hotel. The hotel needs renovation!

A nice central hotel with basic facilities. Reception and other stafs were nice. However, this is not a three stars hotel as claimed on their listing. Breakfast should be improved but certainly it was not bad.

Rooms quite small, specially bathrooms, but great breakfast and location, close to a museum and an aquarium, at the center of all of Rio, great place but if you're looking for a comfortable hotel, there might be better places to look for.

Very busy urban area with people staying up late and partying. The interior of room seems dark dark choice of tiles and paint.

Good reception staff, trying to solve guests' requests. Good breakfasts, but monotony gets boring after a couple of days. Room cleaning on request. Cons: bad, dangerous, dirty area. Noisy under the window in the evening. Bad air conditioner, it leaks and makes the room stuffy.

Nice relaxing place in the center Great spacious room with air condition and quiet. Nice swimming pool and a well equipped gym. Luggage was safely held until pickup.

NICE AND PEACEFUL Is a nice place and the restaurant food is very good. They have a pretty friendly staff. The only thing I didn't like was the pillows because they are kind of firm. It was a pleasant and peaceful stay and if you get a room with a view it's a very nice view of the water.

Overall, the stay at the establishment was very good; however, the bedding accessories, such as pillows, smelled of cigarettes, and the towels were only changed once during the stay. Regarding the service, everyone was very polite.

Exceeded my expectations. Great location, great breakfast, extremely attentive staff, with numerous points of reference for circulation, close to pharmacies, bakeries, cafes, restaurants and the subway.

Unfortunately disappointing. The breakfast was the poorest among the hotels I stayed in Brazil. The view of the ocean and Rio from the hot jacuzzi on the top floor terrace was magnificent. Still, would I recommend it? Of course I don't!

Really good location if you're looking to not stay directly on the beach as it's only 2 blocks from the beach. It's quiet too - however definitely not the cosiest or cleanest.

The area is convenient to lots of options but the hotel needs to be more up kept. The WiFi keeps lagging and disconnecting.

There are some helpful staff coz he let us check in early at around 10am since there was a room available. We had a room towards the street in a lower level. The noise from the street was really loud. The room towards the back was completely quiet in comparison. Overall we enjoyed the stay but would be great if they can install better windows to make all rooms quiet.

I really liked the hotel and the service provided

The hotel is quite nice, very close to the beach and right next to the police station, just in case. There are many places to shop nearby, and the beaches of Ipanema and Leblon are also quite close. The only issue was that the room I stayed in smelled strongly of damp, but overall it was quite good. I hope they can improve this.

We had a great stay at El Misti. Our room was small but very nice, clean, comfortable with bathroom ensuite. The hostel is centrally located with lots of dining, shopping options all around and 1 block from the beach. Perfect location ! The bar had vegetarian options that were delicious. It's a party Hostel. Very fun and stimulating. Not a zen one if you're searching for calm relax stay.

My stay at El Misti was superb!! I stayed in a private room during 7-13 November. It was my first time in Rio, and this was the perfect place to meet people!! They organise lots of events, and having easy access to the beach with a ticket for a free chair is an addes bonus! I can definitely recommend El Misti to others, and will likely stay here (or at least visit the amazing bar during happy hour...

Simple hotel, but very good. If you're looking for good value for money and a great location, this is an excellent option.

The room is small and very functional. It has a balcony with a beautiful view of Sugarloaf Mountain and Guanabara Bay. It has enough space for one person and clean furniture. A chair for use at the counter is missing. The breakfast is well served, with a variety of breads, cakes and some fruits.

My stay at the B&B Santos Dumont was excellent and very peaceful. The magnificent view of Guanabara Bay from the terrace and the exceptionally kind service from receptionist David Rabelo deserve special mention! I will definitely return.

The hotel is very close to Santos Dumont Airport for those with connecting flights. It meets expectations, and the price is reasonable for the amenities.
