Infinity Copacabana in Rio De Janeiro

They charged me for three nights, I spent just two.

Room was ok. Basic, clean. Needs upgrades.
Water was leaking on the bathroom, I asked to be fixed, and it was fixed.

There was mole on the shades and the elevator is the smallest I have ever seen. I had to change hotel.

We had a really disappointing and dissatisfying stay at this property. Upon arriving after 3 flights, all we wanted was a shower and to go to sleep. The water was freezing cold, and when we asked for help we were met with nothing and were told to wait until tomorrow. Every single night of our stay the same thing happened and we were met with nothing from the staff. Upon asking to speak with a manager, again we were told to wait for the morning, and every morning were told that the manager was not working. We booked this hotel because a safe was pictured but upon arrival, again, nothing but disappointment. There was no safe door attached and it took them 2 full days to install. In addition, WiFi only worked in the lobby and we wasted a ton of our (quite expensive) cellular package as a result. The staff did not help with anything and we got 0 compensation from the hotel. We paid a premium price for a very below average stay and would not recommend at all.

The hotel reviews are accurate. This is a basic hotel. Overpriced for what you get. We had a nice sized room with two beds on the second floor. The windows are cheap and allow all the street noises in all night. We arrived early, but was told the room check in was not allowed to 2 pm. They charge 30 br. Rl to store the bags. When we came back at 4 we were told their was a problem with the room and it was not ready. The hotel did give us a temporary room to take a shower with one bed. 30 or so minutes our room was ready. There were several problems with the room key but that got fixed. The strangest part was the dining area staff. When we first got to the hotel, there was no one there. I took a glass to put my own water in for a drink as it was very hot. Suddenly, one of the kitchen staff came out speaking to me only in Portuguese and ripped the glass out of my hand . The next morning, as we had an early bus ride, I went down to the breakfast. It was 6:50, the breakfast starts at 7. No one was there but the coffee was ready. I took a cup. The same guy from yesterday comes running around me, screaming at me again that breakfast does not start till 7. So, I think it would be okay to take the poured cup of coffee and wait 5 minutes in the lobby. The guy chases after me in my face trying to grab the cup. Ridiculous. I admit I was 5 minutes early but his attitude reflects the quality of this hotel. It was just not an enjoyable nor peaceful experience. Find a better place.
