Nice place, great host. The only disadvantage that there is no parking but it can be found nearby. Also, there is no elevator which might be problematic for some. We got a room on the fourth floor which is not easy with kids and baggage without an elevator.

Lovely room This hotel is on a pedestrian sidewalk so there is no vehicle noise. The bed was so comfortable. The room was really nicely decorated. There is a fridge in the room with water bottles and coffee and tea as well. Lovely place to stay.

Kartala is the best place to ski in Bulgaria! Period! Ski runs were perfectly groomed, not much waiting time for the lift, and the best is spectacular 360 ° view on the top!!

The place is great, the lift is nice, fast and comfy. The slopes are wide, but some of them are very steep and wouldn't recommend for beginners. If there is a lot of snow the place is a great place to spend a few days. The price for the lift is affordable and the cafeteria offers good meals.

One of the best places to ski in Bulgaria! Certainly very unique in it's location and style. There is almost nothing around, so you can ski freely ball you want, and there is an elevator going from your hotel room to the ski life ..I kid you not! Overall, we had so much fund and will repeat for sure!!:)

The best off-piste spot in Bulgaria! Stick to the pow 20-50m right from the lift for the time of your life! PS: brace yourselves for some technical narrow paths at the bottom of the hill! Keep in mind that you simply have to take your board off for 20m of walking at the very bottom, but IT'S WORTH IT!!!

Nice hotel with a wonderful spa. Room was noisy at night. Seemed to be security guards outside our window talking and laughing until well after midnight. Road noise was a problem until after midnight. Ask for a room on the back side away from the road.

The hotel is in the city center right next to the park, the rooms are clean and warm enough. The spa center is nice, clean....the thermal pool is not big, but the water was very pleasant both in the pool and in the jacuzzi. On the days we stayed there was no crowd at all.
