Nice hotel with a wonderful spa. Room was noisy at night. Seemed to be security guards outside our window talking and laughing until well after midnight. Road noise was a problem until after midnight. Ask for a room on the back side away from the road.

I only used the event hall and it served the purpose. It's quite small but big enough for geoups of 20-30 people. Good location but the yard needs some attention.

Kartala is the best place to ski in Bulgaria! Period! Ski runs were perfectly groomed, not much waiting time for the lift, and the best is spectacular 360 ° view on the top!!

If you want to escape the massive crowds and high prices of Bansko or Borovets, Kartala is the ultimate local secret. Tucked away in the Rila Mountains near Blagoevgrad, this resort offers a pure, "no-nonsense" alpine experience that focuses on quality over quantity.

The place is great, the lift is nice, fast and comfy. The slopes are wide, but some of them are very steep and wouldn't recommend for beginners. If there is a lot of snow the place is a great place to spend a few days. The price for the lift is affordable and the cafeteria offers good meals.

One of the best places to ski in Bulgaria! Certainly very unique in it's location and style. There is almost nothing around, so you can ski freely ball you want, and there is an elevator going from your hotel room to the ski life ..I kid you not! Overall, we had so much fund and will repeat for sure!!:)

The best off-piste spot in Bulgaria! Stick to the pow 20-50m right from the lift for the time of your life! PS: brace yourselves for some technical narrow paths at the bottom of the hill! Keep in mind that you simply have to take your board off for 20m of walking at the very bottom, but IT'S WORTH IT!!!

The hotel is in the city center right next to the park, the rooms are clean and warm enough. The spa center is nice, clean....the thermal pool is not big, but the water was very pleasant both in the pool and in the jacuzzi. On the days we stayed there was no crowd at all. Bicycle tourist here. There is a space that has a door. It’s a hallway where you can put your bike. You can lock your bike to furniture. It’s… probably safe. We stayed in July after an accident near the highway. A great Respect, and for the host ,who showed a lot of humanity, and help in a foreign country and in a rather difficult situation for us. Lovely room This hotel is on a pedestrian sidewalk so there is no vehicle noise. The bed was so comfortable. The room was really nicely decorated. There is a fridge in the room with water bottles and coffee and tea as well. Lovely place to stay.

The room we slept in was pretty big and the bathroom was also big but it had no balcony. Breakfast was not that diverse and you did not have many options but it was quite tasty 😋! Really good place overall. We were able to book it on the same day as we arrived. The receptionist was really nice and waited for us to arrive late in the night. The rooms were spacious and clean. The only downside was the breakfast which was a bit lacking but a great place to stay overall!
