I was hitch-hiking from the border (which in hindsight I wouldn't recommend) and thought I could get to the hotel before sundown. No chance, especially when I was stopped by armed guards checking to see if I was an illegal immigrant; just doing their job of course, but scary nonetheless.
I basically panicked hard after that as it got full on dark and I don't know the area or Wildlife. I called for help from a friend, and using Google translate and calling the hotel we managed to sort out a solution with them. The hotel sent a man out to collect me from a location I was able to describe so I could get to my room on time. They did super well considering they couldn't call me to check my whereabouts. I offered money for the service but they didn't want any money for this, and said they just didn't want guests out on the border-road stranded.
The room and included breakfast were lovely too, if I were In a more relaxed frame of mind I imagine it would have had a very nice calming time but I was overstressed from the day I had had. It also looks like a Greta place for hiking in summer if you are into that. The next day the staff also helped me organise a taxi to the local town so I could get to Istanbul because, after the stressful 42km slog of yesterday, I was done walking.

It is a nice spot, but owner seems to get frustrated on communication. Was trying to sell a more expensive room for 600, despite on board was indicated that single room is 450. I had to persist to get it. So annoying.
Otherwise it's OK.
Very nice and cozy hotel, friendly staff. Also very tasty breakfast. The room is very clean and beautiful.
