We booked this hotel based on its 8.9 rating on Booking.com, so our expectations were fairly high. To start with the positives: the location is decent — you get what you pay for. The rooms were acceptable and the cleaning staff came by every morning to tidy up.

Unfortunately, the biggest issue for us was the bed. At the end of the day, when staying at a hotel, you pay for a good night’s sleep. In this case, the mattress was old, worn out, and completely uncomfortable. Also, the sheets were too small for the matress.

A room that gets used only a few months a year shouldn’t have such a poor-quality bed. Clearly, the management has neglected one of the most basic essentials of hospitality. For us, this was a deal-breaker. A clean room and decent location don’t mean much if you can’t sleep well. I can’t recommend this hotel, no matter how high the online rating might be.

PS: WiFi quality was poor, which didnt matter much to us. Even the reception and the bar WiFi kept on disconnecting.

Stayed in a apartment self catering kitchen wasn't equipped at all to make meals no tea spoons one saucepan 2 cups one cracked , ants all over sunbeds , no shower curtain so bathroom floor is soaked , wifi is terrible constantly disconnecting ,miserable staff especially women on reception and security man never will I return.

Our beds only got cleaned twice .. we asked for pool view room but got giving room with no view at all (said they where fully booked and couldnt change room)..leaking fridge.. broken shower doors (bathroom floor was constantly soakin, no bath) no wifi in rooms only in reception and pool...we also went to reception to ask for toilet roll as we had none and they said we have to wait till following morning ... The woman on reception is rude and miserable (possibly manager) .. only thing good about this hotel is the location.. stay at own risk :)

Honestly, we knew what we had booked and for the money we can't complain.
Hotel was decent, apartment with lots of locals owning apartments there too
Hotel bar was decent, probably on the expensive side for food and the food was minging.
Room was decent, balcony was huge, sofa bed pull out was the worst bed I've slept on but other beds were fine, shower was very powerful, genuinely would stay here if I was going to sunny beach for a drinking holiday, only 5-10 mins walk to the nightlife too

First of all, I want to say, don't buy breakfast in advance! It's not worth the price! It is even a little cheaper on the spot than when purchased in advance. For some reason I thought there was going to be a buffet breakfast, but there isn't. You get a plate of stuff that doesn't match the price at all. At least I always left hungry. There is only one juice available, which tastes like orange. The color, not the fruit... For the same price (€9/person/day) you can eat much better elsewhere!

Secondly, the hotel's rating on different sites ranges from 3 to 4 stars. No! On a good day, this hotel is max. 2 stars! I have been many times in 2-3 star hotels, which were much better than this one (and I must mention, including buffet breakfast!). The shower cubicle in the hotel room is so small that you can't turn around properly. Imagine if you try to wash your hair or even shave your legs, it's not very easy. And water came out of the shower in every direction, but not towards you. And something is wrong with the water faucets. If you move the faucet even slightly in the wrong direction, you will get boiling hot water on you in seconds. Luckily we didn't have kids with us, this would have been very dangerous. The bathroom lights flickered. And the toilet bowl didn't flush properly. The curtains in the room did not block the sun much, so if you want to sleep longer than until sunrise, pack a sleep mask.

Thirdly, the rules of the pool state that reserving sunbeds is prohibited. But already early in the morning there are more chairs reserved with towels than there are free seats. And of course there are no people to be seen anywhere. During our week long vacation, we never got sunbeds for our use during the best sunny time. The staff did nothing to the reserved sunbeds, e.g. collected towels from the chairs.

If there is anything positive, the air conditioning in the room was great, and the bar staff was nice. And there was a beautiful kitten running around the bar.

Rooms we spacious but let down by maskara stains on the sheets and hairs in the bed, attention to detail. Great central location and pool with bar. Let down with notice in room for late checkout stating 10 Lev, when asked for at reception was told oh it's 15 Lev, the paper in your room is the old one. Another note in room stating all belongings must be locked at reception as they do not take responsibility for any belongings lost not in the safe at reception. Bit odd but nothing went missing so can't complain too much. Had a nice stay.

Booked the hotel and paid for 3 people. They gave me a double room with a sofa bed. I tried everything to get a bigger room since I was there with my 2 teenage daughters but the only solution was paying another 350€ for a upgrade. I had already paid 1500€ including flight and transfer no food included. I thing it’s a waste to book this hotel honestly. The staff is so rude and speaks no word English or any other language and a smile is hard to find in whole Sunny beach. Learned my lesson and will never come back to this and especially Krystian from the hotel broke my heart by just sending a stupid sorry to hear email. Don’t waste your money on this hotel people. It’s not even worth 1 star. Sad and disappointed

Hotel room was nice and clean. And personel are great and helpfull. The young guests may pay more attention with their behaviour, and clean up or throw away their things after use in the pool aria. But the hotel is good! It is near the beach, about 5-10 minutes walk. Supermarkets are nearby. And the strip (Flowerstreet) is about 10-15 minutes walk.

Everything (location,bar,swimming pool , reception u.c.) was great except cleaning staff. Gave us old and dirty towels , girls was coming inside without knocking on the door. Also we saw how they put clean bad sheets on the dirty floor and later on guest's beds😕😬

Rooms were nice. Food let the place down in all honesty most of time evening meal was lukewarm at best but there was a microwave if you wanted to warm anything through.

Felt very corporate, a conference was in our hotel towards the end of our week and there was not enough staff on for guests. Only one restaurant and bar open so long time waiting

We stayed all inclusive and the drinks were really really strong 💪 got the feeling some staff didn't want to be there, or they weren't interested in tourists but this may be due to us visiting at the end of season.

Good location too about five mins walk to flower street which I imagine is a neon strip in season, similar amount of time to beach also.

We Enjoyed Our Stay
4 of us, (2 couples, all pensioners) have recently returned from a 10 day stay at the Best Western Hotel. None of us have any complaints of this hotel, the rooms are a good size, comfortable beds, nice walk in showers, quiet at night and conveniently situated for everything Sunny Beach has to offer, Flower Street, Bus Station, Bars and clubs. Hotel is kept really clean.
The pool and pool bar area has background music played during the day at an acceptable level, unlike some hotels that had club style music played at loud volume all day. During our stay the pool water was tested daily for chemical levels etc.
Restaurant has plenty of choice of various foods to try and satisfy all tastes. Like all establishments with buffet style the temperature of the food may not be hot enough for some people however a microwave is supplied for guests use.
We did have a couple of minor issues but after visiting reception or speaking to a manager these issues were resolved, no problems, with no drama. We enjoyed our stay and are planning to revisit this hotel again next September as it satisfied all our needs.

The best hotel in all sunny beach! Cozy and Stylish rooms, friendly stuff, delicious food in restaurant, nice swimming pool, jacuzzi baths is a special love!!
Comfortable location: in 5 min from central bus station, 5-7 min from beach, around plenty restaurants, stores!
What else do you need to have a great stay?! It was amazing experience there! Definitely recommend and will come back next year!

I had an excellent stay at Best Western. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making me feel at home right away. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The hotel’s pool area was a highlight – spacious, clean, and perfect for relaxing. I also enjoyed the bar, which offered a great selection of drinks in a cozy atmosphere. The restaurant at the hotel was top-notch, serving delicious meals with plenty of variety. The location is ideal, close to major attractions. Highly recommend this hotel, and I’ll definitely return!

Great location, very close to the beach and the main strip. The hotel stuff is warm and helped us a lot to locate some places. Clean rooms and the food was very tasty. No hesitation for the next visit of Sunny beach.
