❌ Stay away from this hotel – an absolute nightmare!
I have never experienced such outrageous behavior. The staff is consistently rude, dismissive, and completely incompetent. The manager is the worst of all: arrogant, condescending, and utterly unprofessional.
Despite the stay being fully prepaid, they repeatedly tried to force us to pay again. Instead of helping, they wasted our time for over six hours, sending us from one hotline to another. In the end, we were literally thrown out of the reception and left without accommodation.
Being treated like this is unacceptable. We had no choice but to look for another hotel on our own because this place clearly does not care about its guests at all.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel at all costs.

The hotel has good location. The reception doesn’t work after 19:00, if you need toilet paper for example you must wait till day after. The receptionist has no skills to deal with foreign guests only with Ukrainian and Russian, in main words is a hotel for Ukranian/Russian, doesn’t matter the country every reception must have receptionist that speak local language and English, could be a plus if speak other languages and not like this reception: doesn’t speak Bulgarian neither English. The room wasn’t clean in days, I had to remove the trash by myself and put outside, if I had to work in my vacation surely I was gonna rent a flat and not pay a pseudo package of “ALL INCLUSIVE” and avoided even get sick with my kids.
The food has no pleasant flavor and is not well presented. Fruits are served black and salad is only cucumber, tomato or cabbage. The meats are horrible! Breakfast is the same bread every day and good for fitness guests because you will keep the diet not eating! My kids and I got sick because of the food! Few tables for many guests, many rude guests I felt like I was in a zoo. The bar is the only place that works well and until late, it must be the only thing to be valued in the hotel probably because the drinks do not need to be cooked. Ideal hotel for young people: because young people do not eat and can get drunk and never care about cleanliness, but never recommended for families.

An impudent waitress from Ukraine, it seems her name was Suzanna, spoiled our vacation and impressions of the hotel as a whole. Very slow service. Not a friendly bartender and waiter Susanna constantly smoked and discussed the guests...smiled only when their management came to the restaurant.. This hotel is a strange place. Perhaps if the staff spoke English and smiled, it would be a good and inexpensive place to stay ... But, our holiday was ruined that year, and therefore I do not recommend this hotel.

When I read the negative reviews I saw here whilst at this resort I thought I had to write about my recent 10 day stay at Sun City.
1st of all we were looking for a lazy holiday of relaxing by the pool mostly so were happy that Sunny Beach is a party town but we weren't looking to get involved much.
This is a great thing about this hotel.
LOCATION.
Its a few streets back from the main strip so is pretty quiet but in 5-10 minutes you can be right in amongst the lively bars/ market stalls and beach.
ROOMS
We booked a 1 bed apartment and a double room originally as both our kids are getting too big to share with us.
The lady on reception saw us as we were booking in and offered us a 2 bed apartment instead. ( we are a tall family).
It was amazing. Spacious,clean and the kids had their own bathroom and shower en suite. Also being teenagers they had a lovely space to sit and look at their phones all day :)
SERVICE
At all times Mehmet and his team went out of their way to make us comfortable. They were constantly busy cleaning around the pool area and we never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for drinks.
I have seen some reviews saying they were unfriendly so want to address this.
I think it is fair to say that Bulgarians are a bit reserved. This could well be because we are British and I understand this fully (see FOOD below).
So at first they may not seem as friendly as you may expect, however after a day and a few very clumsy attempts at ordering drinks in Bulgarian it was all smiles.
FOOD
I have to say that we were very pleasantly surprised with the food.
We had heard some horror stories about Bulgarian Hotel food but Brits can be quite annoying when travelling. We seem constantly surprised that we have travelled halfway around the world and no one has thought to put a shepherds pie in the oven :)
Some of the food is a bit weird for us Brits but every day I found something I liked and quite a few days something I loved.
There was always rice (cooked in a stock), potatoes, meat (usually cooked in a light gravy)and vegetables. Also there was an overwhelming amount of Salad options with Bulgar wheat and cous cous for a lighter option.
I am not into puddings but there was a whole bar dedicated to sweet things including loads of fruit which is the bit I enjoyed.

We have already decided that we will go back next year to the same hotel.

Best quality and sensible price. Very good food and there was few events organised by the hotel. The pool was nice and clean, we had nice view and the beach was near. I can recommend for short and long time stay.

The garbage was not token when we arrived. The bathroom was dirty (smell of sewer, seed husks on the floor, faulty shower, toilet leaks water).
Dirty, dirty and again dirty: dirty walls, unclean mirrors and windows , spider webs on the walls and hair in the fridge. We reported the problem at the reception, they said that will be cleaned but only the garbage was token.
The food is very bad. We paid for all inclusive but in the room we had nothing included (it is not allow to take drinks or food from the restaurant in the room) .The personal is rude. We will never return to this location.

We were promised a room at the ground level because we had a pushchair and the hotel does not have an elevator, but when we arrived the receptionist said that management made a mistake and all the ground level rooms are full; the shower is not draining properly and the water is overflowing everywhere, the toilet didn't flush so I've let reception know and they promised to fix it next day, after we came back from the beach next day, we flushed the toilet once then it didn't work again so we were promised again that they will fix it tomorrow; the food is horrible (mostly fast food type food, same every day and with very bad taste) and on top of that it is never enough, even 45 min before the meal timeline is finished they stop bringing new food, the restaurant is small and you need to queue for 15 min or more to reach the food trays; they charge 10 leva for parking per day but the parking space is an unguarded and dirt space behind a supermarket opposite the hotel the entry being blocked by a chain connected between two small iron pillars and you need to go to the reception yourself to get the key for the chain lock, unlock it, take the car out, stop, get out, put the chain and lock back, and take the key back to reception before you go, and then repeat the process when you come back, on top of you having to pay for it, you don't have a reserved parking space, you leave in the morning and when you come back the parking space may be full, one time my car was blocked by someone else as well so I had to go to reception to ask about it and then had to wait for 15 min for the person to arrive to move the car only to realize, with disgust, that it was an hotel employee that blocked me; there is music being played all day long at the swimming pool so it makes for an ideal hotel for young people, but families should avoid as all rooms are facing the pool and the noise can get to you, especially at 1 in the morning when people are still drinking and screaming by the pool; the management is very rude, they have zero people skills and they even talk down and yell at you if complain about the problems you encountered saying that if you are not happy you may leave (after you've already payed for everything of course and you won't receive any money back). All together quite a horrible experience, AVOID AT ALL COST, if you can!!!
