This hotel is fantastic the staff are awesome.
Nadia and Chris stand out as the most friendly, all the staff on the Bar have been great.
The food served in the paid restaurant is very good value for money, the staff are great to get along with they really try to make it a nice experience all the staff make the effort to pass the time of day. We stayed, bed and breakfast, the breakfast isn’t the best but adequate. the photo is from our balcony👍🤩🍺

Unfortunately, our stay at the hotel did not meet our expectations. Upon arrival, we noticed that the bathroom was not properly cleaned – there were hairs and dirt that clearly weren’t ours. There was no trash bin either in the room or on the balcony, which was very inconvenient.
The TV was also disappointing, with only a few channels available. However, the biggest issue for us was the overall cleanliness, which was far below acceptable standards.
On the positive side, the staff were very kind and polite, but unfortunately this could not make up for the lack of a clean and well-maintained environment.

We have not stayed here but have eaten here twice. On both occasions we were impressed with the variety of dishes, quality of food and definitely the quantity which was very generous. The food was very reasonably priced and served to us by such friendly staff. The restaurant is both inside and outdoor in a quiet street which made it such a pleasure to eat here.

When you book on their website it says you must wait for a confirmation which never comes. So they try to double the price when you show up at the hotel. They give excuses on why they cannot confirm your online reservation. Luggage storage is on the sofa in the lobby! Poor customer service.

A compact hotel that occupies a relatively small area of land compared to nearby hotels in town. For what it's worth, I'm pleased with the facilities there; stable internet in the rooms, fridge, freezer and the lobby having both cold and hot self-service water dispensers (the cold one saved me from having to buy my own drinking water and I used the hot one for instant noodles and soups at night).
I'd recommend that microwaves are also installed in the rooms. Furthermore, the breakfast buffet, while decent, could do with more variety. Finally, I didn't appreciate cleaners walking into my room in their shoes behind my back, moving my belongings around as well as taking things away. Bear in mind that this was less than 24 hours after I checked in (why would I need my room cleaned so soon?) and I specifically asked them not to clear. This constitutes an invasion of privacy and serves as a good reminder why you ought to take your valuables with you each time you step outside (I stored my cash, phone and ID/passport in a pouch) as you might notice that any cash you leave on the table may vanish (not accusing any of the hotel cleaners, but you never know...).
Location wise, it's excellent. A 5-10 minute walk from the beachfront where the tourists swarm by the overpriced markets (hehe, do your shopping further inland where the locals roam), roughly the same distance to the nearest Lidl where I did most of my shopping (not overpriced, but still slightly higher than the prices in Portugal's Lidls) and a 15 minute walk from the Action Aquapark I visited on my final day in Sunny Beach.
In all fairness, I paid a total of £229 for the two-way flights and a seven-day stay at this hotel with breakfast, so I'm pleased with the value I received for the price. Then again, I travelled shortly before the peak season (I literally returned the day before posting this review).

Spend a week there half-board.
Apartment was clean, clean towels everyday.
Left cleaners a tip and they never touched the money. I had to write a thank you note in Bulgarian for her to lift it
The hotel itself is on a quiet area and is quiet itself, perfect for family
Plenty of choice for breakfast
Sausages,eggs,bacon,fried bread,cereals.
Milk, coffee, tea, water, orange juice.
Bar/restaurant was very reasonable, great selection of food. Not a long wait time, staff were super friendly and it is hard to get them to accept a tip.
WiFi is in the reception but didn't reach the 3rd floor apartment I was in. If you connect downstairs in the lobby, the speeds are up to 50Mb, which is great for downloading some TV shows to watch in bed at night.
Overall if I was to go back to Sunny Beach, it will definitely be a stay at Hotel Lira

Welcomed us proffesionally. Our room was wonderfully spacious (209) and quiet. Amazing power shower. At breakfast (we went B&B) Camilia couldn't have tried harder to provide everything we asked for.
The bar/Restaurant;
BEER - Amazingly 1Lev (£0.45p) for .5 litre glasses.
FOOD - Loads of choice. Nice sized portions. Huge (if your paying) breakfast.
Good value for money. we ate snacks from the local supermarket and there was no problem.
MUSIC- VH1, 80'S classics and a bit of dance.
SPORTS - SKY SPORTS
The pool area;
POOL - Big enough. no deep end. Cold but refreshing
SEATING - about 25-30 loungers. Never too many people. Beer allowed in plastic glasses.
LOCATION - 10 minutes walk from the strip. 20 minutes from Flower street
NEZIBAR - on the bus for about £1 each. Great place for a morning or a lazy day. Beautiful fort and old buildings. Great sea food.
N.B. Bulgaria is a great place. Very friendly people. Loads of cheap clothes and other more "exotic" items. Snide central.
