The only positive about this hotel is the location. Sauna did not work, no mosquito net in the balcony door, no airco in the rooms, the breakfast buffet was the bear minimum and extremely hot in the rooms. You cannot open the bathroom door whilst showering, it’s that small. The children of the owner/ workers stayed in the reception, that turned into a kindergarten.

Nightmare. No hot water in the rooms, heating gets switched off at night. We left after a night when we couldn't even wash our hands with warm water. They asked us to pay 250 BGN for the honor to spend such an amazing night! Never again! Ever! They work with rio.bg, which actually charges the money and never gives it back. I was charged with 707 BGN for 3 nights. Never saw my money back, even a cent... Do not even think of booking there. The receptionist even shouted to me, insisting 250 BGN absolutely needed to be charged as we have used the room for 1 night. No comment... No more Sarnitsa. Ever. Rio.bg neither. I hope many people read that and go elsewhere instead.

Unfortunately I am not able to sleep normally as you are able to hear each room around you . The TV and people talking. The door of the toilet is broken and is not possible to close, the key and the locker is broken and when you are taking a shower it is getting flooded. Additionally they are trying to scam booking and make me write U wasn't here to get all the money. And it is just my first day ...

In pictures, everything looked fine until we arrived. I did not like the spa center, cold water in the pool and the sauna was not hot enough. The bathroom is under all criticism, nothing, but absolutely no water pressure, taking a shower is a whole adventure, and a long one at that... The breakfast was tasty, but poor in terms of choice, for this money you could have at least some fried eggs with bacon could... We wouldn't do it again

The hotel is relatively new, clean, well maintained. Staff extremely friendly. The cuisine in the restaurant, tasty and well prepared. Our room had a view of Dospat Dam. We really liked it, we would do it again for sure.

The hotel itself is lovely with beautiful rooms and a unique location. The hygiene in the rooms could be improved. For 4 nights they did not change our bed linen. The breakfast is good, but the all-you-can-eat food is of very low quality and at very high prices. The staff is polite and helpful. Overall it is a wonderful place, peaceful and with a unique design and privacy.
