Well, I rented a room for 2 days. The total of the pros gives me 4/5 ⭐. The lady and her son were both polite. They tried their best to speak English. The room was clean.
On the other hand, the total of the cons gives me 2/5 ⭐.
So, the result is 3/5.
I recommend it for a short time rental. I wouldn't stay for 10 days there.

I got a single room with a bathroom. Not bad for one night before the morning flight. There is a bed, tv, AC and a bathroom. The AC's fan was kinda noisy though.

Nice place about 10 minutes walk from Varna train station. Friendly family run place. I had a private room. There's free wifi, a small fridge and your own bathroom. The aircon worked fine

Rooms are old, its kind of durty!
I had a Ants invasion as i left over some food that means its not clean. For a night if two works but for longer stays i wouldn’t recommend

I had been on the road, -buses/trains for 40 + hours by the time I arrived in Varna. I found this place by accident, and was pleased to find a place to shower/ sleep the night before I continue on. The young gentlemen at reception were very kind. Once I could check in, a few hours later as I had arrived early, I was pleased with the cleanliness of the room. Nothing luxurious (I had taken the cheapest option, so no surprise) but clean, homely and all the necessary amenities.. toilet, shower, bed, fridge, privacy. Only thing, I recommend they add a fan to the room. Location is amazing. Close to attractions and beach. Definitely would recommend. I think the price is fair .

We had a big, spacious room that had AC, refrigerator, a boiler for hot water on demand, TV and WiFi and a balcony.
We stayed for 4 nights and the price was beyond reasonable, totally worth it.
The host was very friendly and nice, let us leave the luggage until we found appropriate parking for our car.
Disadvantages:
- they don't speak English well so make sure you have a translator app available
- in the morning with the check-out we had no water
- payment is cash only
- furniture is a bit outdated
Advantages:
- very good prices
- very close to the center
- discount for customers at the neighbouring restaurant
- pretty nice area
- pharmacy, restaurant, shop very close, right around the corner
- not a long walk to get to the beach
Definitely recommend it!

Regretfully, I must say that this is one of the worst places I have ever stayed. For starters, we were not signed anywhere as guests of the place. That aside, the worse aspects come next - our sheets and towels were not changed for 5 consecutive days (4 nights stay). The same applies for the rubbish - it was not taken out for our whole stay. On the third day, in the middle of the day, the water supply stopped due to incident with the sewage in the city and although it was brought back within 3 hours, we were not provided with any information, nor a compensation (bear in mind that it was 30 degrees in the middle of the summer). Furthermore, the bathroom is absolutely disgusting and appalling for a hotel facility - the toilet is literally detached from the floor (and it shakes!), the water dispenser of the sink is detached from the sink itself, no aspiration of the air in the bathroom, too. A less concern could be the constantly disconnecting Wi-Fi and the missing TV signal. Overall, the place is not worth the money (and even its "hostel" status) and even though the location is tempting, I wouldn`t recommend booking here at all.

Ivo is nice but doesn't really speak english (love to talk even if you can't understand tho).
The chamber has a little balcony which is nice but it wasn't clean (traces of alcohol all over the floor, with the smell that comes with it). The bed broke when I sat on it because it was not well-built. The shower and the bathroom were disgusting.
But it is cheap, even if you can find much better in Varna for the same price.

Awesome place, right behind the Varna theater.
5min walking distance to the center, about 20min away from the beach.

מקום נחמד מאוד למי שרוצה לינה במחיר זול וקרבה למרכז העיר ולמדרחוב. עוד יותר נחמד זו העובדה שאמנם זה הוסטל עם חדר משותף, אבל החדר מאוד ביתי וללא מיטות קומותיים :)
Very nice place for everyone who wants a low price lodging near the center of Varna city and it's pedestrials.
Also it's important to add that the dorms room is very cozy without any bunk beds which is even more nice for my opinion :)

Its a decent place to stay. Its right in the centre and the price is good. The staff and the cleaners are lovely. But the building and facilities need a lot of work, so if you're looking for somewhere cheap and don't really mind where you sleep, go for it. If you're looking for somewhere "special" try somewhere else.
