Tips

I stayed with my family in June, a good size of a room, food was ok, a bit of everything, we enjoyed our time by the pool, many activities.There was a bit of language barrier as not everyone speaks English which is absolutely necessary especially if you have guests from all over the world. Apart from that we enjoyed our staying

We visited the Club Bor a few weeks ago now and we did have a wonderful holiday. The location of this hotel is fabulous and despite being in the centre noise is not an issue at all. We never struggled to get a sunbed however the sunbeds are really uncomfortable there is a bar that is very hard on your back they could do with some cushions. The rooms are very nice well presented and maintained. We did find the storage situation to be a bit of an issue with our room there just wasn't enough for us staying for 9 nights some draws would be welcomed. The staff were all pleasant and friendly the communal areas of the hotel again clean well maintained. I couldn't fault the food it was very very nice and I'm a vegan but Alexander in the restaurant always looked after me and helped me if I needed. But I didn't struggle the selection of fresh fruit and salad was incredible. Sadly the pasta was cooked in butter every night so that was a no go. Also everything was listed with the allergens so very easy to navigate the buffet.

Also if you get chance book the alacart it was absolutely sensational and your really well looked after.

Just a few negatives I want to point out maybe I'm being fussy but I like to review honestly.

The pool towels it was a bit of a lottery weather you would get a nice one or a thread bare tatty one. I think these probably need looking at. I'll add some photos of the offending towels.

Coke zero for 3 of our 9 days holiday there was no coke zero and none of the staff were able to tell us when it would be back on so we ended up having to spend a lot of money at the shop buying our own.

Outside seating there is a lack of nice outside seating the outside bar area the seats are super uncomfortable some nice seating would be welcomed where you can drink from a glass not a plastic cup.

Over all though a nice hotel and none of these negatives spoiled our holiday.

As a Black solo traveler, I was initially unsure about visiting Sunny Beach due to hearing about potential racism. However, this hotel made me feel completely comfortable and at ease throughout my stay.

The room was clean and tidy, and I found the beds quite comfortable. What stood out to me was the staff — they come from different countries and treated everyone equally. There was no discrimination at all, which really helped me relax and enjoy my time.

The food was the highlight for me. I enjoy flavourful meals, and everything I tried was well-seasoned and delicious. While there weren’t many spicy options, the flavour more than made up for it. I’d say it’s easily in my top 3 for all-inclusive hotels I’ve stayed at. The desserts were amazing also.

Housekeeping was great — just keep in mind that they can come early, so be sure to put the “Do Not Disturb” sign on your door if you’re sleeping in.

I didn’t use the pool, so I can’t comment on that, but the cocktails were nice. Occasionally they were a bit sweet for my taste, but I simply asked for less syrup and the bartenders were happy to adjust them.

Overall, a very pleasant experience and I’d definitely consider coming back.

For improvement: I can understand the hotel says it's forbidden to have food from the restaurant or drinks in the room, however this is a bit unfair. I think you should be able to at least take desserts into your room or drinks from the bar. As someone like me on a solo trip didn't always want to sit on my own at the bar drinking, Meals I can understand.

The staff called my room at 11:05am saying my checkout was at 11:00am as I was slightly late from leaving the room, which was a bit annoying as I felt rushed.

There was a drunk guy at the hotel who was trying to take people's drinks out their hands after the staff refused to serve him, he fell and hit his head on the floor and was knocking peoples hats off etc and the staff looked clueless and didn't do much or call an ambulance. This definitely needs to be improved for safety.

Entertainment was good, talented acts.

This hotel is really amazing!!! The staff keep it so clean, the food is lovely, we always found something tasty to eat and the drinks are not bad for all inclusive.
The free mini bar in the room that is restocked every day is a really nice touch. A special mention to Habibe our maid, who was not only really friendly but kept our room spotless everyday and always with a cheery smile. Cannot fault all the staff really who went above and beyond all the time too, but a special mention to Ivan, who started out as our bartender, a funny guy with a really sunny personality. Private beach was also lovely even if we could not use the sea all the time due to the red flags. A couple of downsides - paying to use the safe which I think should be free and the pool - although gorgeous, was extremely cold!! But overall one of the best hotels we've stayed in. Personally I wouldn't return to Sunny Beach but for those of you who will, please consider this hotel as it really does tick a lot of boxes.

Have just returned from a holiday at this amazing hotel. This hotel is so clean & immaculate its beyond belief but is all due to the incredible team of cleaners who are so happy & pleasant working very hard to keep the standards up & are obviously very proud of this hotel. Rooms are very comfortable, mini bar stocked every day & with a few unexpected goodies. Bar staff very professional & make some mean cocktails!
The food is excellent with plenty choices of wonderful dishes & the desert table has to be seen to be believed. This all comes under the ever watchful eye of the restaurant manager Alexander making sure everyone is happy & comfortable - he is undoubtedly
The Jewel in the Crown of the Club Bor, I would be very happy to make a return visit here.

Everything was nice! Location, accomodation, service, food delicious. The beach is very close, 5-7 minutes from the hotel. The pool could have been a bit warmer. I recommend!

The rooms are new with all facilities, a lot of space for families. The food is fresh and good and variations. The pool water is clean and sunbeds for everybody. The entertainers did a good job with kids and adults with a lot of games. It was a good vacation. The sea was not good because of sea wood.

I recently stayed at HVD Club Bor, and it was an exceptional experience! The hotel truly stands out in every aspect, making it the perfect place for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. The staff is undoubtedly the best I have ever encountered, helping us with what we needed. The food is simply outstanding. Every day they make other recipies, and I loved it. From my perspective, the dinner was better than lunch, but they are very close. The entertainment at the hotel is another highlight for me. There is always something fun and engaging happening, from live shows and music to various activities for all ages like darts, archery cocktail games etc. The animation team is full of energy and creativity, keeping guests entertained throughout the day and night without being intrusive. It’s the perfect balance of fun and relaxation.

This hotel was very nice, good food selection, nice and clean. Nice pool, air conditioning through out, the entertainment team was totally the best, they literally keep everyone entertained all day and through the evening, darts, water polo, archery, botcha, volley ball and loads more such lovely people would recommend
