Khmer House Guesthouse in Kep

Such a wonderful place in Kep. Khmer house is run by a sweet family who were always around to greet us with smile and see if we needed anything. Our room was gleaming, the bed was comfy, and we appreciated the A/C and fan combination to keep us cool at night. The shower was OK with a fluctuating temperature but quite nice when the weather is hot.
The on-site breakfast was simple tasty and cheap with good coffee to go with it, eaten on the rooftop with the sun rising behind the hills, a remarkable way to start the day!
Whilst the guesthouse is a little out of the way, we really enjoyed cycling to town and back with the free bikes available next door, I would say I’m only took us 25 minutes to cycle all the way to Kep City and even less to the beach and crab market. If you get the chance, go to the national park, it’s beautiful!
We would highly recommend Khmer House if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful spot to slow down and enjoy Kep for a few days.

The room was very clean and quiet. WiFi worked well. Free water provided. Has a restaurant on the top floor. AC worked good.

Our room was clean and we had amazing views. I would definitely recommend breakfast at the restaurant attached. They also have free bicycles for guests to use, which is very handy. They also have the nicest dog!

Simple and clean guest house, lovely owner.

I really appreciate that they offer water refills and the little kettle in the room.
A bit out of town but with a bike/bicycle it's no problem to get around. Not far from the Crab market.
My only criticism would be that the fan is a bit noisy.

Stayed for a few nights recently. Really clean comfortable rooms. Good value. Slightly far out from Kep town and the beach, but there are free bicycles to use and I believe you can also rent scooters. The restaurant upstairs is also nice and good value.

A safe, comfortable and peaceful stay away from the city. Beautiful view of the park. The owner and his family are lovely and accommodating. The food at the restaurant was delicious. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I loved the location away from the town as I was looking for some peace and quiet. Everything was super accessible with a motor bike or a cheap tuktuk ride. The deli down the street serves authentic French bread and pastries. Would love to go back!

It is a really nice place to stay. Kep is so small, so the location is okay. It's not that far from the beach. The room is nice with all basic needs like soap, toothbrush/past set, and coffee...

The room is so clean and new. And the price is really good compare to some other places with this price. And you got mounting view too!!

I only used the scooter rental.
The rental is very cheap with 5$ per day and you get decent scooters.

We made a small accident and slightly damaged the plastic fairing of the scooter. The owner handled it really well and only charged us what he felt was needed to repair it (30$). We were really glad and impressed how fairly this was handled!

The hotel has been renovated recently. The rooms and toilets are well kept and clean. The beds have the mosquitoes net which is great. There is no hot water (you won’t probably feel the need for it here) but they provide towels. They also have a restaurant ( I haven’t tried the food). The host is very helpful. The location is a bit far away from Kep village, however they provide bicycles rental for free or scooters for $5 a day. I definitely recommend it.
