Since the king room wasn't available, I received a complimentary upgrade to an executive twin room. Even though having two beds wasn't much use for one person, the executive suite was definitely much larger than a standard room, which made for a good stay. The facilities, like the pool and gym, were well-equipped and looked quite new.
I hope the hotel considers offering single occupancy packages in the future. When booking, I could only choose between no breakfast or breakfast for two, and activities like bowling were only available as a double package. As a solo traveler, I had to pay the double price to experience them.
