The front desk staff were very friendly, and the hotel was clean and well-maintained. Overall, a good experience.

Service: No issues with the front desk or service. They upgraded my room when I realized the 'king-size' bed was only 1.5m wide. Later, they even provided band-aids when I accidentally got a scratch.

Cleanliness: Also no issues. It was clear the room was very clean.

Environment: Although the surroundings were a bit noisy, it was surprisingly quiet at night, so getting a good night's sleep was not a problem.

Facilities: I wouldn't call myself a long-time Atour user, but since 2025, Atour has always been my first choice for every holiday trip because I've always trusted your brand philosophy. However, this time, you've been messing with me right from the moment I booked the room. This is the first time I've heard of a 'king-size' room with a 1.5m wide bed. Okay, maybe I misread it, but I'm still curious why I've never made this mistake at other Atour hotels. Secondly, the hotel's decor and room fixtures can only be described as abysmal. The last time I saw this style of decor was during a business trip to a state-owned guesthouse. It's clear that after acquiring this old hotel, you've basically made no updates to the fixtures. The toilet and the marble countertop in the bathroom would hit each other; I had to hold the lid up to prevent it from falling. The TV 'feature wall' basically looked like they ripped out the old TV and crammed a new one in. The funniest part was the mini-bar. When I first walked in and saw it, I thought a mini-bar was standard, and sure enough, there it was – but it wasn't plugged in and was completely empty. I don't remember ever seeing such a shabby mini-bar anywhere else. If you're not going to put anything in it, at least plug it in! The bedding, as always, was fine, and I had no trouble sleeping. The only reason I'm not giving a 0-star rating is thanks to your beds, which saved its last bit of dignity. The most frustrating thing was waking up from a nap to find my phone hadn't charged because the charging port by my bed was broken. It was truly, truly speechless. What good would it do to call the front desk to complain? So in the end, I just thought, 'forget it,' everyone has their struggles. Being such an old hotel, you can forget about soundproofing. I could clearly hear the guy next door talking about work on the phone. It must have been tough for Brother No. 1 to still be working on Labor Day, and I'm not saying he was loud. Considering I paid such an expensive price for an Atour during the May Day holiday and didn't even get half the experience of a Huazhu Hotels Group property next door, I'm genuinely furious.

I think you should just turn this place into a themed hotel next time, call it 'Guesthouse Nostalgia.' It's quite hard to find this kind of decor at this price point nowadays.

The Atour Hotel (Wangfu Street Xinjiekou Nanjing) has an amazing location, within walking distance to the commercial district and subway station, making it super convenient for getting around. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, check-in was efficient, and they paid attention to thoughtful details. Overall, it was a great experience with good value for money. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Nanjing.

Every time I come to Nanjing, I stay at this hotel. Its location near Xinjiekou is superb; my friends joke that no matter where I go, I can't leave a two-kilometer radius. This time, I booked the Jiumu King Room with a bathtub, and my baby absolutely loved bathing in it. The room was very clean, and all the facilities showed great thoughtful consideration. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I asked for a late check-out, and knowing I had a baby and luggage, they extended it for me until 4 PM directly. I'll definitely be staying here every time I visit from now on!

I was running the half marathon in Nanjing and stayed near Xinjiekou. This Atour hotel was in a convenient location. The room was spacious, the environment was nice, and it was clean and hygienic. The breakfast had a good variety, and the staff were polite. I'm very satisfied.

The room was spacious and met the Atour standard in every aspect. It was a very comfortable stay, and the service was prompt. It's a bit far from the subway station, but public transportation is convenient, and taxis are easy to find. The presence of several nearby institutions somehow added to the sense of security. There are many dining options in the area, and there's a breakfast place that sells wufantuan (black glutinous rice balls) which is excellent.
