The minshan Lhasa is, in my opinion, a cheaper option but with the same high-quality service and rooms, and in a more interesting (better?) location, walking distance from lots of interesting shops, street markets, Jinli tourist street. It's advertised as a hot spring hotel, but you have to pay extra to get to the hot spring next door. The underground parking garage is also quite far away. The room was okay, but the bathtub's water filling system was broken, and I got soaked. The shower's hot and cold water controls were a real pain; the water was either too hot or too cold. The breakfast was alright.

We've stayed here many times; the kids love soaking in the hot springs. Staying at Holiday Inn and Shule Pool is truly excellent value for money, and the convenience is unparalleled.
