I didn't get a good night's sleep any of the three nights I stayed at the hostel. The room was incredibly stuffy, and the sheets inexplicably made me itchy. I'm probably allergic to the bleach and disinfectant used to wash the bedding, which often happens in cheaper accommodations. I didn't experience this when I moved to a hotel later.
The common areas were clean, and the facilities were comprehensive. There's a farmers' market near the hostel, but the transportation isn't very convenient.
Overall, it was still pretty good, but those with allergies might want to choose carefully.

The hostel's ambiance is absolutely beautiful, I loved it so much! The bathrooms and wash areas were very clean, and of course, the rooms were spotless too. It's also super close to the Daguan Zhuanxin Market, just a three to five-minute walk.

The environment was perfect, but my white roommate was really rude. They were quietly packing their luggage and then pulled the curtains and glared at me. If you're so bothered by noise, why not just stay in a hotel?

You can wandering and explore the market nearby and walk along the canal nearby…to sea the local people life.

The location is excellent, very close to Kunming Station, the pedestrian street, and Cuihu Park. The room is also spacious enough. The only downside is the excessive smoking in public areas; it's pervasive. For someone trying to work in a quiet spot, I had to move three times. There's a corner in the restaurant that I suspect is directly opposite the second-floor restroom. Every time someone flushes upstairs, it's incredibly loud, like dirty water is being splashed directly on you. Also, the Wi-Fi is too slow.

Quaint hostel near the old street that has an awesome vibe. It has a ping-pong table, pool table, restaurant, and much much more to offer.

A quiet and good place to stay. Met some nice travellers here too. If you plan to stay for long it will be a good place to stay. If you just came for travel for a short period, there's another branch under the same company will be a better choice as it is nearer to the main attraction places.

This hostel is absolutely fantastic! I stayed here 20 years ago, so returning felt incredibly nostalgic and comforting. There were lots of international guests, which is always a good sign. The place is clean and tidy, and they even have self-service laundry facilities. The little restaurant at the hostel is particularly good and offers great value for money.

This hostel is amazing ! Everything is perfectly clean, at the reception they speak perfect English and can give you indications on what to do and directions.
The hostel is really nice, you have a rooftop where you can enjoy some time outside. There is a place to do laundry and they provide laundry detergent for free, you even have a place to hang your clothes to let them dry.
There is a small restaurant where you can have yunnan specialities as well as some european dish (pasta, burger).
I had a really good stay and will definitely comeback next time I am in Kunming.

The staff were supportive and friendly. The food was great honestly. Location is clear and place is clean.
