Overall the Hotel is a nice hotel. If I came 20 years ago, I definitely will give it five stars.
This hotel has been around 30 years and refurbished in late decade. The decorations and facilities are all of top class qualities.
The refrigerator in the room is a decoration. According to the technician, the entire hotel's refrigerators are not functioning because the management refused to change due to coolant leakage. I don't mind no refrigerator but I can not accept as a decoration. They have a nice but sarcastic service, everyday, they deliver two units of Yogurt but was left there at room temperature. I won't dare to eat Yogurt not stored at 2-6°C.
The nearby Train Station is no longer in service. For train service, you have to go to Kunming Station (no need to go Kunming South Station as too far away). However, the subway station is just 100+ meters away, and therefore, this hotel still worth 3 stars.
Breakfast provided is okay but Coffee or Red Tea are not available, no a la carte menu as well. It was a shame for such a large international standard hotel.
This hotel is located at Peking Road and is a nice location. A convenient store is just next store. The Airport Shuttle station is just a few steps beyond. Therefore it is still a recommending hotel at Kunming.

It's so rubbish. There was no hot water for two days, the sockets were broken, the air conditioner turned on the heating but it was air-conditioning. Use the things in the room with caution. The charges are very high. It's hard to explain...

It's like a hotel in the 1980s, it's so old that I'm speechless!

Great location. Walking distance 10mins from metro station, there are convenient stores, fruit shop and food stores within few mins walking radius. But Amenities are not well maintain and repaired, the room I stayed fridge and one of
electrical charging point doesn't work.
Management need improvement, different departments don't have good communication between each other which caused misunderstanding. Situation as below:
1. Room booklet and booking info was not updated. Stated there was Laundry service, but when asked there isn't.
2. States there is Rooom service for food but when called there isn't.
3. Housekeeping mentioned breakfast can be brought to me in my room(because I was sick), but when called receiption said they don't provide this kind of service.
4. Housekeeping disturbs even putting on DO NOT DISTURB, interrupting my rest when I was sick. (NOT sure if housekeeping missed out OR the indication light doesn't work)
Hope management will improve for guest to have a better experience.

The location is very good, parking is convenient, but the hotel decoration is a bit old. The breakfast is very good. It is my first time in Kunming and I like this city very much. I will transfer to Dali and Lijiang as the next stop.

I booked this hotel after reading the reviews on Ctrip. The experience was very good. The lobby is spacious and stylish, and the rooms are spacious and clean. There is a password box, a small refrigerator, and even more considerately, there is a water purifier, so you can drink pure water directly. The breakfast is also good, the front desk and service staff are also very good, and the price is affordable. I will stay here again when I come to Kunming in the future!

When traveling, the hotel is in a convenient location. The breakfast is delicious. The front desk service is very good. Parking is free. It’s a great stay experience. I will stay here again next time.
