The hotel’s totally worth the price! Location’s a little tricky at first, but I found it just fine — just a bit of walking (nothing major). Didn’t get to explore much since it was just a one-night crash, but the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Most attractions are nearby too, so walking around is super convenient… as long as you’re not the type to complain, haha! Overall, good vibes!

Not far from Kunming Laojie and Nanping pedestrian walking street. If you are looking for easy access to the Laojie, it's an ideal location to book.

However, do not expect a brand new hotel. As the hotel building looks aging. Some rooms have been refurbished while some are not.

Nearest MRT is Wuyi Road, within 4-5mins walking distance from exit E.

Overall, suitable for a short stay.

Friendly staff service, 24 hour front desk is useful for night flights. Facilities are clean and better than expected for the price. Even got a free room upgrade.

Nice receptionist, place is few mins away from Kunming old town, near subway station but need to walk for 3mins because car can't go in.

We only stayed one night in Kunming, arriving late and leaving early for a day tour—so it was a quick stop. That said, the host was responsive to our questions even at midnight, which i really appreciated.

What stood out was the thoughtful room layout. We booked a double bed and a single bed, and since we’re siblings, the way the space was partitioned gave us a good sense of privacy. It made the short stay comfortable.

Didn’t get to explore much else, but for a night’s rest, it was a pleasant experience.

One downside was the hotel entrance. There are quite a few steps to get to the main door, and while there is a ramp, it's extremely steep and not very easy to use.
It’s very very convenient for traveling, as you can walk to both main walking streets from here.

Requested to upgrade room from 'Business double room' to 'Shangpin Twin-Size Room' for larger room 😂 Staff very helpful, communication through online translation. During the checkout, the other staff can speak english very well 👍🏼

I love the location very nearby to everything. If you are going to Shuncheng street near the mosque, around 10-15mins.

Free self service washing machine, just our time the washing machine did not spin well and dryer took few times around 4 hours to dry 😭 so sleepy have to wait

Excellent location, close to eateries, shopping, old street. Walk to everywhere. Friendly reception at the hotel.

Yunshang is conveniently located in 老街(old street), short walk to Nanping Pedestrian street (南平步行街). The room is clean. We like the fact that the hotel is in the middle of a local street, bustling with local fare, but not the noise. Our room was by the lift, we do get a bit of corridor noise which was easily overcome with ear plugs. As the hotel is in a small street not accessible by car, do call the property for advice on the most convenient drop off location to walk to the hotel.
