My Love Inn in Lijiang

We recently stayed at Lijiang Shuhe MyLove Inn and it became one of the most memorable highlights of our trip. What truly makes this place special is the lady boss—her hospitality is exceptional. She treats guests with genuine warmth and care, making us feel more like family than visitors. One of the standout experiences was the food. She prepared superb, healthy vegetarian meals that were both nourishing and thoughtfully crafted. Each dish felt light, clean, and especially suitable for Lijiang’s high-altitude environment. Beyond that, she shared her knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine, offering practical insights on maintaining body balance and adapting to the altitude. What made it even more meaningful was how she gently incorporated elements of Buddhism into her sharing—emphasizing mindfulness, inner calm, and a balanced way of living. It added a deeper, spiritual dimension to our stay that we truly appreciated. If you’re looking for more than just accommodation—something with heart, culture, zen and a sense of peace—MyLove Inn is truly a special place.

Wu'ai Hall is located within the old city. Upon arrival, a small car will pick up your luggage at the city gate. The environment is very quiet and peaceful.

The guesthouse is full of plants, which is truly delightful. The amenities used are excellent, a big thumbs up! Breakfast is vegetarian but very healthy and plentiful.

There's also a super cute Jack Russell Terrier.

A truly unique and treasured inn.

The owner is very sincere and takes excellent care of the inn and courtyard. The lush greenery is incredibly vibrant, making the courtyard a truly enchanting space.

The rooms are fully equipped, with meticulous attention to detail and impeccable cleanliness. Music and aromatherapy are thoughtfully provided, making for a wonderful experience.

The breakfast was prepared with great care, which was very touching.

The tea provided in the room was also excellent; I even bought some to take home.

We really liked the zen feeling of the hotel. Although the old town was bustling with activities and music, we did not hear a thing and felt really peaceful at the Inn. It is a rustic vibe. It is like sleeping in the nature with luxury. We had a beautiful view of the mountains. The staff was really helpful and sincere. The cat and dog of the inn were so cute. The only disadvantage was that we could not choose what to have for breakfast.

I loved this hotel so much that I promised the landlady we'd return next time to see the clear skies of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the fall and the wisteria-filled gardens in the spring. The hotel's setting is incredibly tranquil and beautiful, and the hospitality of the landlady and the entire staff made it feel like home to my friends in Lijiang. The breakfast was incredibly delicious, and the hotel's cats and dogs were adorable and friendly. The Lijiang attractions the landlady recommended were all unique, uncrowded, and well worth visiting. Highly recommended for travelers seeking a deeper understanding of Lijiang, relaxation, and a glimpse into life and nature. If you're someone who's always snapping photos and checking in, don't bother coming here.

Staying at the 丽江吾爱堂客栈 was an unbeatable experience. The accommodation is carefully curated down to every detail, everything is in harmony and balance. It's an oasis of peace every time you enter the property, entering its patios, gardens, and tea rooms.

Fortuna is the soul of the entire place, a perfect host! She welcomes you like home, always present with subtlety and never evasive, just like all the staff members.

The room was incredible, spacious, the bed was comfortable with an electric heated blanket, varied and high-quality amenities, as well as high-end linens and towels, a Bluetooth speaker, a kettle, and a variety of teas with cookies, and much more... The night and dreams are accompanied by the soft sounds of the garden... The whole thing makes everything magical and relaxing!

The gourmet breakfasts made with local products, different every day and freshly prepared with great care, are served in a lounge overlooking the patio and garden. In short, a stay we'll never forget and will always remain in our hearts. A truly remarkable accommodation and hostess!

Very quiet and comfortable, winding paths lead to secluded places, Zen rooms are full of flowers and trees

One step at a time, a new view, gurgling water, and forest breeze accompany you to sleep. I slept well and comfortably for these two nights, and slept through the night! Nowadays, there are really not many inns with all solid wood and original flavor. After searching for a long time, I found Wuaitang, and other inns were not acceptable. . . A piece of tranquility in the downtown area, each room has its own characteristics, but it’s a pity that I missed the season when the wisteria flowers bloom. The vegetarian breakfast made by the boss is different every day, exquisite and delicious~ I came to Shuhe Ancient Town 8 years ago, and I still like it when I came again 8 years later~❤️This time I stayed for a short time, and I didn’t have a good walk around Shuhe Ancient Town and its surroundings, nor did I stay in the inn to take pictures. I will definitely have a chance to come again next time!

We had the most incredible stay at My Love Inn, and it exceeded every expectation. The owner and manager, Fortuna (whose name in Chinese means “Luck”), truly embodies the spirit of the place. Her warmth and genuine kindness made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Fortuna is one of the most lovely and sincere people we’ve ever met.

The accommodation is simply outstanding, offering a peaceful retreat that immediately calms the mind and heart. The sounds of the squirrels playing around the Inn create a serene atmosphere that feels like a direct connection to nature. You’ll even have the chance to start your day with breakfast alongside them! We enjoyed the healthiest and most nourishing meal, which included the best soy milk we’ve ever tasted—truly unforgettable.

Fortuna also prepared the most beautiful tea ceremony for us. Thanks to her, we learned so much about tea, and we became so passionate about it that we couldn’t resist bringing home some exquisite pottery from her collection. Fortuna offers an array of beautifully crafted traditional ceramics and clothing, and we’re so glad we indulged in these treasures.

Our room was a haven, surrounded by nature, making us feel like we were truly a part of the landscape. One of the most memorable moments was soaking in a bathtub while gazing at the moon through the window—an experience we will never forget.

On top of everything, Fortuna was so kind to personally arrange and operate the transfer service to the beautiful Shaxi for a fair price, making our stay even more seamless and special.

Beautiful and charming inn located in the ancient town of Shuhe in Lijiang. It has limited rooms and each room has its own special characteristics. Inn owner is warm and friendly and she very attentive to the needs of her guests. She prepares a lovely vegetarian type of breakfast with slight variations daily. One can even enjoy watching the squirrels playing around the trees as one savors the lovely breakfast.
