But the absolute highlight was the guesthouse's very own bar! The ambiance was just perfect, and their signature cocktails were both beautiful and delicious. In the evenings, there were live singers, and chatting over drinks with my travel companion until we were pleasantly tipsy, I instantly rediscovered that relaxed vacation vibe.
The guesthouse itself was fantastic too, featuring an infinity pool. You could walk out directly to a small stream nearby. In the mornings, you'd see mist shrouding the area, and in the evenings, you could chase the last rays of the sunset. Every photo taken here looked like it belonged on a postcard!
This is definitely a hidden gem that I'd love to revisit! I highly recommend it to anyone looking to unwind and clear their mind.
Environment: Serene and quiet, with truly picturesque surroundings that evoke a beautiful landscape painting.
On the other hand, the food at the restaurant was quite mediocre. I was particularly disappointed to find their 'white cut chicken' was made with frozen chicken legs – something I've never encountered before, which was a shame.
Overall, the room itself was generally good, but the cleanliness could have been more thorough.
The location is great (easier if you’re driving, but it was easy to call taxis), a half hour drive into Hangzhou and 15 minutes away from Qingshan Village which is a great day out.
