Many hotel staff are hospitable and willing to help. Room is nice. Food is very good.
nice stay for two days, the room fee includes breakfast and dinner every day, hotel has own swimming pool but very busy, pass through pool you can find a public Beach. but unfortunately there are no any supermarkets nearby hotel expect for a Chinese restaurant. air conditioner can't work, it's very hot in the afternoon, the staff only suggests to open the window, it looks crazy
A good hotel for people without high expectations :)
- Beautiful, modernized hotel
- The half-board option is actually an all-inclusive package
- The food selection is truly extensive and varied. The buffet is constantly refilled. There's something for everyone.
- Nice, large pool / plenty of loungers available (towels available for a fee of €2)
- Beach directly in front of the hotel
- Old Town not within walking distance (an Uber ride costs €8 / a bus...
The only problem is the temperature of aircon. It was hot for 2 nights when we have stayed. Otherwise all good.
The hotel includes three meals. Good

I think we had the best sea view room. The room is newly furnished. It’s simple and clean. It’s actually old hotel but we were lucky we got a newly renovated one. The front receptionist are polite , helpful. Breakfast is many varieties but the taste is so so. I will certainly book again.
We had a wonderful family ( 6 ..2 parents with 4 children 17 + ) holiday in Hotel Vis. The location of the hotel is superb. The views from the sea view rooms are magnificent! You literally walk into the beach.
The outside bar is beautiful with stunning views.
The hotel rooms could do with a bit of modernism and if there was music / entertainment in the bar you would never want to leave it.
Yet the...
there is a serious sewage smell problem in the bay effecting a wide area depending on the wind. eventhough sea looks great the noise at the beach due to constructions going on at the bay and the sewage tank smell, swimming is not tempting. the situation is not specific to the vis hotel effects many hotels at the bay.
Amazing location. Rooms are big and the restaurant is good with an amazing view.
I have no idea why this hotel is only 3☆
It's an outstanding hotel!
I can't fault it.
This hotel is fantastic! It's location is great, it's clean and has a beautiful beach.
As a solo traveller, I felt very safe in this hotel.
There was so much variety for breakfast that I didn't know where to start. This included hams, cheeses, bread, fruits, meats/ sausages, eggs, yoghurts, coffee machines, etc...
Excellent service and good to stay

The hotel is spotlessly clean with comfortable beds, the room was bright and airy with modern decor. The location was great for visiting Dubrovnik the bus stop was local, staff were very helpful and there are plenty of option to eat nearby.
Nice room -
Hotel was well located -
(although I did have a room in the front, facing the street, and did hear a little noise at night - it usually was quiet by 11:00pm.)
overall enjoyed my stay there, and had a good experience there - front staff/wait people in restaurant were very nice/helpful/welcoming.
Functional hotel, had/provided everything we needed! A bit outdated and our room was extemely small.
The hotel is lovely, in an old fashioned way. The rooms still have keys which can be a bit fiddley to work. The rooms were very clean, a good size, the hotel was quiet. Staff was lovely. Breakfast was a bit sparse for the cost but enough there to fill you up. Close to lots of restaurants, Sunset beach and a nice walking trail. Old town is a short bus ride away.
Centrally located. Great balcony with a wonderful view. Friendly staff. Only issue I had was I was on the 4th floor and the lift only went to the 3rd floor. As a female solo traveler I had trouble carrying my luggage up the flight of stairs.
I recently stayed at Hotel Perla for two nights after my United flight was canceled in Dubrovnik. I booked the hotel online, and nowhere did it mention that cabs cannot come directly to the hotel — you have to walk a bit since the road is closed for vehicles — or that the rooms required climbing a flight of stairs after taking the elevator.
Since I went there around 9 AM, I dropped off my bags and...

The bedsheets were dirty, but the staff were friendly.
Breakfast was basic. No water was provided in the room.
The biggest drawback was the lack of an elevator. It was difficult to carry heavy luggage upstairs.
Great location and quiet hotel. Sensational sun set from front of hotel. Breakfast is ok and rooms are functional but you will want to be out and about anyway
It's a little far from the old town, but about a 20-minute bus ride.
There are many restaurants around the hotel.
The breakfast is delicious and the rooms are clean.
The place was very nice and easy to access
The hotel is old and needs a lot of maintenance done and the lift was out of action all the time we were there. I could see it was a very good hotel in its day. The staff all friendly and helpful and the food was good in the restaurant. We had the buffet one night; it was good value at 23 Euros.
Breakfast is a buffet which is good but it is a very busy restaurant with seems to be full of tour companies...
Awesome staff and reception
Very nice people and everybody speaks English.

Room: 2nd floor with sea/city view.
Outdated style with modern head board and cool wall paper. Very clean. Fresh looking and smelling linen; I have been to a 4 star hotel in Dubrovnik with slightly vinegar smelling towels when I get ‘clean’ ones so this is a bonus here. Bathroom is properly scrubbed down, no ‘invisible’ water spots left in the shower. I have had water marks and hair left in the bath...
We stayed 2 nights. It was walkable, picturesque and great for the price. The rooms are dated however very comfortable. Great dining options on the Port side. Great craft beer place close by. Breakfast was adequate however, lack lustre. Good option if coming in by bus. Transport options galore.
This is a budget friendly hotel but was very clean and accommodating. The free breakfast was excellent.
Rooms aircon and fridge were not working at all. Food not up to international standards, lots of variety but not great options to choose from. Coffee was not good at breakfast also felt like we were being chased when breakfast ended. Good view from rooms and close to bus stop. That's all the good points I can note.
Good location for marina ferries and buses. had a balcony overlooking the Marina which was great. Clean room, only slight issue was shower was so powerful the head flew up and soaked the bathroom! Apart from that all good!
A satisfactory, basic, budget hotel in an extremely expensive city. At over £110 per night (including breakfast) it’s not cheap but compared to Dubrovnik prices it’s on the low side. The hotel is old fashioned and has a soviet era whiff about it but I had no major complaints. It is located 15 minutes by bus from the old town and has an excellent outlook. Breakfast is quite satisfactory although Wi...

We stayed for 4 nights.
We loved the hotel and hotel room.
We booked for 3 people.
We had 3 lovely beds also my son had own room which was perfect for teenager.
Hotel room was huge that I wasn't expected the big
Also 2 separate toilets.
Cleaner comes every day and clean the room and new towels everyday.
All the staffs are very kind and helpful
They all speak excellent English
Special thank you to...
Good price, standard breakfast with selection of ham and cheese, sausages , vegs that is enough for 3 star hotel. Close to the beach, supermarket, bus starion, restaurants. Nice personnel
Staff at front desk amazing. Enjoyed the location. Lots of restaurant options. Easy access to the bus to go to the old city.
The hotel was an older hotel and had the look of an older establishment. The breakfast area in the dining area was cramped and the menu was a bit disappointing, needed an upgrade. Price wise not great value.
Nice but hard to get
It was a very nice stay overall, but it is very important to mention something that future guests should be aware of: you cannot arrive directly at the hotel by car. The hotel is located in the old town of Dubrovnik, inside the pedestrian-only area, which makes it impossible to drive up to the entrance. This means that if you are traveling with luggage, it can be quite challenging...
Lovely quaint hotel
Lovely quaint hotel right on Main Street about 2 blocks from the beach. Parking lot is nearby (costs extra). Our room had a big balcony. A/C was sufficient. A very friendly family run this who welcome you at checkin. it does have some crazy parking available on the road and entrance. But after that they manage moving your car if you have one. I also saw a motorbike protected in the court yard. A great 2 bedroom apt, one clean bathroom and daily upkeep… replace coffee, towels and a clean (excellent). no cooking facilities but a kettle, fridge and wine glasses...
Very convenient place to stay. Room was comfortable. It's a family home and owners are relaxed and helpful. ******* listed laundry facilities on site however that wasn't the case. We used the nicest public laundry just a short walk from Villa Dard. We didn't need our car so it was parked onsite for 3 days.
Located outside Old Town only 15 minute walk but uphill. Wonderful attentive host. Free parking. Room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend. Nice to be outside the craziness of Old Town Dubrovnik but it is a bit of a hike up if you’re not able bodied.
Read the fine print when you book as it says one has to give advance notice if want to use free parking. They still accommodated us. The pictures have since changed to show the correct inside as when we booked and what we got, was different. Also be aware there are no elevators. We had to carry the luggage to 3rd floor. Lastly, lot of kids running around late at night and early in the morning. Maybe...
Property owners/managers were very helpful with suggestions and were flexible. Property has parking on site if requested and that’s critical in the busy area. 10 min walk from old town though it’s a bit steep so those with mobility limitations may find it challenging. We didn’t

No complaints all okay. Recommend for those on a budget.
Dated facilities, close to bus stop to the old town, very close to a lovely beach.
No elevator! Boring breakfast buffet, but other than that, it was a really good hotel. The staff were nice. The management was excellent, and the views were unbeatable. Ample parking, close to public transit. It was very easy to get around.
Good day. The hotel is located on the seashore, in a very beautiful place. The hotel and the room are very clean, everything works. The breakfast is very good. It is a bit far from the city center, 40-50 minutes on foot, 10 minutes by taxi, the trip costs about 5 euros. I can safely recommend this hotel for a vacation.
Very lovely hotel! The room was big enough with an balcony and a sea view!
The staff were amazing!
The breakfast buffet had a very good selection and quality food!
We had one dinner aswell, also buffet style and you had alot of options!
The bus no. 4 stops right in front of the hotel and drops you right at the Pile gate in Old Town after 15-20 minutes.
Excellent breakfast for a three star hotel. Good water pressure, fairly quiet air conditioning. There is a small restaurant and cafe.

The Aircon works perfectly and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was decent, nice choice of pastries and fruit Very good value and would return the only drawback would be the amount of steps up or down to the hotel...
If go by Uber go to hotel komodor, we went by the hotel name and had to walk down a very long set of stairs. Otherwise the hotel is so beautiful. Photo taken from room balcony
Great views from rooms' balcony, hotel's location is perfecto just 10 min walking to main bus lines to Dubrovnik. The área is very lively with plenty of bars and restaurants.Only negative point is that to get to The hotel It is necessary to take stairs, even so it's worth staying.
Very warm welcome at the Art Hotel Dubrovnik. I highly recommend a room with a sea view to make the most of your stay. Breakfast on the terrace is a highlight to start the day off right, and you only need to walk down a few steps to enjoy the sun on the beach or explore all the restaurants on the pedestrian street.
I want to thank you for beautiful experience in your hotel. View from balcony it's astonishing. For hotel with 3 stars, for me it's like 5 ***** Food was delicious, service was very pleasant, staff it was fantastic. Special thanks to Ivan , Clara and Nikola.
Super friendly staff, nice location, good breakfast.
But be careful, if you stay for only one night and arrive late (they will give you an option of self check in), they might give you a room with a tiny window looking out to the concrete back yard, giving an impression of sleeping in a souterrain apartment. The room was cheap and was easy walking distance to the TP Line Ferry. The breakfast was very good for the price. The room was a bit smelly and the 2 single beds we selected on ******* was a double (mistake at the property).

Warm and welcoming staff. Clean and comfortable. Great wifi. About 15 minute walk from the the Old Town. We liked being able to get away from the masses of people inside the walls. Very peaceful location. Villa Katarina is (like a lot of places in Dubrovnik) on a pedestrian only walkway with stairs. Close to several mini-markets that carry the essentials.
Our hostess, Katarina herself, made us feel very welcomed in her home. The individual apartment rooms were clean and satisfactory for our needs. A lovely terrace in the sun to have happy hour and Katarina graciously gifted us some local wine, beer and oranges right off her trees in the yard. Beautiful garden. We had an easy walk down to Old Town.
Very sweet and friendly host. Comfortable accommodation with nice view from the window. The only issue is that this place is listed as Villa KatErina on Google. Villa KatArina is at a different location about 5 km away. I went there first and had to pay extra for my taxi. I did inform the owner of this.
Beautiful location with a clean room. Staff was very kind and helpful. Definitely recommend!
Had a great time at Villa Katarina. Easy and convenient check in and a great centrally located property.

The bus into town was a 2 min walk and super easy there is no parking in old town but bus runs 5am-1 am and uber is only 9 eu all day.
Kitchette and bathroom were very nice and clean...
It 8-10 mins away from old town and 18 mins walk from the grocery store, the place is clean and great with a very beautiful panoramic view of dubrovnik
Wonderful place
It was wonderful!

The view of the balcony! Just Wow
Nice place to stay in Dubrovnik!!!
The place was exactly as expected and as described. The owner was very responsive and helpful.
The neighbors were a little noisy late one night coming back. One of the beds (on the right) was a little creaky if the person on top moved around.
Overall we were extremely happy with our stay and thankful for this place!
Excellent place. The host I formed us about all we needed in order to make our stay simple and easy. There is an information book in the room that is also very helpful. Even though it is not closed to old town, taking an uber was the easiest way. I would highly recommend this place. The Subset view is stunning.
Overall a very good experience and good value for money. The only downside was the walk to and from the property towards Gruz port and Lapad, it’s extremely steep and loads of steps.

I highly recommend this place! The host is helpful and friendly. He offered a ride to the Old Town and ensured our comfort throughout our stay. The rooms are clean and nice, and the neighborhood is convenient and quiet.
Work outside my bedroom happened late at night. Tv wasn't working. The host was very hospitable though.
My friends and I had a wonderful stay at this guest house! The two owners (husband and wife) are super helpful. If you tell them what you hope to do they will offer recommendations and even drove us to a restaurant one night. The guest house is on a quiet residential street. They have a terrace with a nice view of the bay/port. The bus stop to a main line into Old Town or downtown is about a 5 minute...
We stayed on the street level in a small room. There was
