Good location. Near to Trsteno Arboretum & Dubrovnik City Walls @ Old Town.

okay..where should I start...staying here was one of my best lif choices I made so far. It has quite a distance from old town, but it is worth it. For a fee you can always take the their shuttle to town within 30 minutes. The 1 bed room apartment with sea view was spectacular..it was just so nice..the private beach, pools, indoor pools, bike rentals....I will come back for sure. Please dont hesitate...

The hotel is a stunning oasis of luxury and comfort. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with warm hospitality and an elegant atmosphere.

It's great. There are lots of fun things to do on the beach. The sea is crystal clear. There are five delicious restaurants nearby. The rooms are all facing the sea.

Unfortunately, the staff was very unfriendly. The service was very lackluster and unmotivated. At breakfast, you almost felt like you had to apologize if you needed cutlery from the staff. This hotel is part of a larger resort complex. Frankly, most of the properties under different brands here are quite similar, although the 'Blue' one does seem to offer slightly better facilities. Overall, it primarily caters to tour groups, so it's usually very crowded.

We had a great stay at this beautiful resort. Great location, comfy hotel with amazing views from the patio, and delicious breakfast. However, some staff members could be more friendly.

We love the breakfast! It has a big variety. The location is about 20 mins away from the old town, but it has a bus right in front of the hotel. Great for families!

The hotel is all class. Staff are amazing. The spa/pool is fantastic. Location is just outside of town on the Adriatic- WOW. Absolutely beautiful. You don’t know where to look first- towards the walled city (5mins walk) or out to the islands and sea. Breakfast is included and absolutely delicious. And what a view in the restaurant. I loved every bit of our stay. From checking in, to the upgrade they gave us, to the staff making a birthday cake for my partner that we so thoroughly enjoyed, to relaxing at the beach. It’s the best hotel stay I’ve could’ve asked for while spending our first time in Dubrovnik.

Very friendly staffs and helpful too. I love the location of the hotel. Very beautiful views. The facilities just ok. Breakfast is not that good to my Asian taste. Overall I would recommend this hotel. It’s close to bus stop and there’s free parking near the hotel too. 

Hotel was in perfect location, clean and modern. We had a few slight issues in the room like needed more hangers, fridge didn’t work but after a few requests were sorted. The girls on reception were friendly but could have done a lot more on the welcoming front it was very much “there are your keys” and then back to their phones or laptop. A little more conversation and customer service required.

Really great area to bade yourself for a stay in Dubrovnik. Babin Kuk is mainly made up of resort hotels, including the Valamar group which meant you could use the loungers on the beach at the nearby President hotel. We stayed early October, pools and facilities still all open. Staff were helpful and very polite. Hotel is great, everything you could want. I mistakenly assumed the room name meant it was an ocean view room. When I left the room, the view from the terrace was amazing. However, I recommend booking an ocean view room even if you have to pay the extra fee. Your satisfaction will be doubled.

We booked a room through trip.com which based on the picture led me to believe that the room had a balcony with a view of the sea.  Room was an interior room with no view.  Feel clearly misled by trip.com’s advertising and will use a different site when booking our next room.  Was in Greece and Croatia for three weeks and this was definitely our least favorite room.

An absolutely beautiful resort town! It has many different resort building inside and you can use other facilities. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve tried in a hotel.

Had a great stay at the Royal Princess Resort. The hotels are all part of the same group so you can use the facilities across the properties. The walkway from the promenade into Lapad was so beautiful. Beaches are super clean and the staff could not be nicer. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay so incredibly memorable. Dubrovnik city is only a quick Uber away.

Fabulous hotel with use of sister hotel next door. Lots of amenities, wonderful pool areas, a good selection of restaurants and shops on site on tte square. Super comfy beds. Easy to get to old town with no.6 bus right outside the hotel running every 10-15 minutes. Lovely walks around the hotels and right down to the marina via the coastal path. Will definitely return!

Avoid the annex It’s an average hotel if you are able to stay in the main building, but avoid the annex at all costs. Halls and rooms of the annex smell like cigarette and they try to mask it with an air freshener that only makes it all worse. That being said, a few design/comfort flaws with the main hotel as well. The hotel's environment is great, and the sunset sea view is superb! However, the cleanliness of the guest rooms was a letdown, and the service was just so-so! Upon entering the room, I found dust all over the bedside table and wardrobe shelves. Many of the towels in the bathroom were torn, old, and some even dirty, as shown in Figures 1 and 2! For a 5 Star Hotel, the TVs are absolutely tiny and so outdated you can’t even mirror your phone or get Netflix on them. No coffee machine in the room is also terrible for a 5 Star property. Trying to get coffee at Breakfast was even a task. Drink is extremely expensive and the lunch and evening meal we had there was very poor quality.. Would not return

A must stay in Dubrovnik staff, food overall 10 out of 10 for us definitely will be back. We only had the pleasure of staying here for 2 nights due to being stranded in Dubrovnik after a Marella Cruise strong winds stopped all planes from coming in and out however this turned out to be a great experience and wouldn’t have found this Gem of a hotel.

The hotels in this city are not cost-effective, but the location and facilities of this hotel are justified. There is a band playing by the pool at night, and it is crowded during the day. The service attitude of the front desk still has the flavor of yogoslave, which is integrated into the capitalist European countries but also has the arrogance of a state-owned guesthouse.

Dubrovnik does not have a lot of hotels compared to the vast amounts of tourists that come here (mostly there are apartments or mini hotels). The bigger ones that are, are pricey to say the least (especially when booked last minute). Hotel lapad is fine. When I was here it was full with pensionados on package tours. Quite busy everywhere, but if you can avoid the crowded spaces you're fine.

The pool is very big and well surrounded by gardens and a nice hotel bar. It’s a bit further than we though from the old city , we had to take a taxi in/out for a fixed price of 20 euro (so 40 back and forth) but it was nice to come back to Lapad after long hot days...

It perhaps needs to be more specific about how little there is to do on Kolocep itself. There’s only 1 other hotel on the opposite side of the island.
