Unfortunately, the staff was very unfriendly. The service was very lackluster and unmotivated. At breakfast, you almost felt like you had to apologize if you needed cutlery from the staff. All in all, this hotel does not justify the prices charged. The worst 4-star hotel I've ever stayed in this price category. The location is okay, 10 minutes from the beach, but there's a fee of €25 per day for two...

On our first night, the room suddenly lost power in the middle of the night, leaving us completely dark. After contacting them, they said there was a problem with the power card. The next day, we suddenly realized our door wasn't properly locked. At first, we thought it was just carelessness, but two days of strange behavior made us doubt it... On our second night, we returned to the hotel after sightseeing...

The room was small, but it was considered a good value hotel for the area. The view from the room was great, and the breakfast restaurant was also quite large.

Very friendly staffs and helpful too. I love the location of the hotel. Very beautiful views. The facilities just ok. Breakfast is not that good to my Asian taste. Overall I would recommend this hotel. It’s close to bus stop and there’s free parking near the hotel too. 

Hotel was in perfect location, clean and modern. We had a few slight issues in the room like needed more hangers, fridge didn’t work but after a few requests were sorted. The girls on reception were friendly but could have done a lot more on the welcoming front it was very much “there are your keys” and then back to their phones or laptop. A little more conversation and customer service required.

Really great area to bade yourself for a stay in Dubrovnik. Babin Kuk is mainly made up of resort hotels, including the Valamar group which meant you could use the loungers on the beach at the nearby President hotel. We stayed early October, pools and facilities still all open. Staff were helpful and very polite. Hotel is great, everything you could want. Easy 3 min walk for bus. 5 min walk to the most beautiful views on the coast promenade. Fabulous hotel with use of sister hotel next door. Lots of amenities, wonderful pool areas, a good selection of restaurants and shops on site on tte square. Super comfy beds. Easy to get to old town with no.6 bus right outside the hotel running every 10-15 minutes. Lovely walks around the hotels and right down to the marina via the coastal path. Will definitely return!

Seems like the hotel underwent some refurbishment. The room is decent sized but has a funky smell. Decent buffet. Location is 3 bus stops till the old town.

I really enjoyed my stay here, sauna was great and so was the pool, location is truly the best of all. Hotel is a bit old style in terms of aesthetics but everything was functioning and people very attentive, will be back again

Avoid the annex It’s an average hotel if you are able to stay in the main building, but avoid the annex at all costs. Halls and rooms of the annex smell like cigarette and they try to mask it with an air freshener that only makes it all worse. That being said, a few design/comfort flaws with the main hotel as well. The walls are quite thin where we could hear our neighbors open/close their closet...

The hotels in this city are not cost-effective, but the location and facilities of this hotel are justified. There is a band playing by the pool at night, and it is crowded during the day. The service attitude of the front desk still has the flavor of yogoslave, which is integrated into the capitalist European countries but also has the arrogance of a state-owned guesthouse.

The hotel's hygiene and environment are very good. The hotel is located in the Lapad district, suitable for tourists who like quietness. There is everything nearby, including restaurants, supermarkets, public beaches, local tour meeting points, and bus line 6 goes directly to the old town.

The location is 15 minutes drive from the old town. The hotel is close to the sea. Quiet. There are no people coming and going in the old town. The hotel has a swimming pool. The room is nice. The breakfast is delicious. I can stay again.

Dubrovnik does not have a lot of hotels compared to the vast amounts of tourists that come here (mostly there are apartments or mini hotels). The bigger ones that are, are pricey to say the least (especially when booked last minute). Hotel lapad is fine. When I was here it was full with pensionados on package tours. Quite busy everywhere, but if you can avoid the crowded spaces you're fine.

This was a beautiful hotel will nice art work and historic charm. The staff was very kind and gave us good recommendations for our meals. The pool is very big and well surrounded by gardens and a nice hotel bar. It’s a bit further than we though from the old city , we had to take a taxi in/out for a fixed price of 20 euro (so 40 back and forth) but it was nice to come back to Lapad after long hot days...

Great hotel, beautiful view and lovely outdoor pool. Unfortunately, the pool bar was closed, and the pool was emptied after one day, despite perfect swimming weather (23 degrees Celsius and sunshine) and despite the promise that the outdoor pool would be open during our stay, as requested in advance. The jacuzzi was also broken.

I think it would be better if they provided information on the location of the bus stop to the old town. It would be nice to have easy access to information on how many minutes it is to walk from here to the bus stop, which direction it is in, and which bus number to take.

The view was amazing! The staff were friendly. However, the bathroom only had hot water. Also, there was a terrible leak, so the bathroom was soaking wet.

An absolutely beautiful resort town! It has many different resort building inside and you can use other facilities. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve tried in a hotel.

Had a great stay at the Royal Princess Resort. The hotels are all part of the same group so you can use the facilities across the properties. The walkway from the promenade into Lapad was so beautiful. Beaches are super clean and the staff could not be nicer. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay so incredibly memorable. Dubrovnik city is only a quick Uber away.

The accommodation is good, clean, and the service is very good. The staff are attentive and provide excellent service. The breakfast is also good, delicious, and looks good to eat. It's right on the beach, so you can go swimming. It's very convenient, but it takes a bit of time to get to Old Town, but it's walkable.

The hotel staff were all friendly, the included breakfast was excellent, and the hotel facilities were clean. I chose an ocean view room with a jacuzzi, and we were able to enjoy the fireworks that marked the start of the summer festival. If I were to return, I would definitely book here.

A fantastic stay in a very comfortable hotel. Breakfast in the room each morning was great. Being met at the airport and then gate to the old town was an excellent service and made sure we found the hotel. Dubrovnik is a beautiful city and the advice given by the staff about what we could do was excellent as was the restaurant recommendation.

It was the best lodging for a short trip to Dubrovnik with access to all the attractions. It was clean and very comfortable. The mini-kitchen was also very convenient. I would stay there again.

Only downside is bathroom has glass walls that you can pull drapes for privacy but sadly no ceiling. If you need privacy to do your business it might not be the best choice. Other than that it is a great space up several flights of stairs.

The stay was very pleasant, the apartment was clean, and the customer service was perfect. The only complaint is the poor condition of the pool; it wasn't well maintained, with quite a bit of mold and a dirty pool area.

We visited Dubrovnik for our friend's wedding. I cannot fault the hosts at all - they pre-arranged transport for us from the airport, very helpful as travelling with a two year old. This boutique hotel was the perfect place to stay for my Old City Dubrovnik visit! The staff are pleasant and helpful and the room was fantastic. The hotel is a block off the main thoroughfare (Placa) and was quiet in the evenings. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. I’d stay here again on my next trip. Highly recommend!

Beautiful art hotel in the center of Dubrovnik old town - less than 10 mins walk to all major spots. Our room was thoughtfully decorated and Matija was very friendly and welcoming during the check-in procedure.

terrific staff, nice room, great location. As with all hotels in the 'Old Town', you must walk from the city gate (with your bags) to the hotel, sometimes through narrow streets, up abundant stairs and on uneven roads, but this hotel was easy to get to and just one set of stairs to climb.
