Guest Houses in Dubrovnik

Only downside is bathroom has glass walls that you can pull drapes for privacy but sadly no ceiling. If you need privacy to do your business it might not be the best choice. Other than that it is a great space up several flights of stairs.

Pack light, you’ve got 4 flights of stairs but it’s worth it and they will send someone to handle your luggage if needed. The room was really great, and the location ideal.

It was a lovely space right in the heart of old town close to lots of shopping and restaurants.

Easy to find, beautiful property! Well located to the Main Street in Dubrovnik. Good workout with the stairs!

Perfect spot in the old town Beautiful accommodations, with quality amenities, but many stairs required to access the top floor unit.

Room lovely location perfect for exploring

The most helpful people. Lovely rooms within walking distance from the old town.

A small quiet guest house about 20 minutes walk from old town. Only stayed one night but was perfectly good, clean and quiet - I would happily stay again. Only watch out is that the entrance is up 50+ steep steps from the road. Fine by me but with luggage etc be aware of it. The herb garden and outdoor furniture looked lovely!

Very clean place, very nice outdoor space. The garden, the lounge chairs , the openness were a plus. Renovated bathroom, air conditioning, only downfall was the many mosquitoes and not net on the windows so we couldn’t open them at all. Service was great and very professional. No parking , if you have a car you have to be lucky to find in the area around to park. Quite few stairs to go up from the...

Very good service and not too far to Dubrovnik city and Dubrovnik old city. Very good place, I like space. The owner is very kind.

Really nice location and very clean and spacious rooms. Rooms come with air-conditioning to survive the summer heat and they have a little kitchenette area for basic cooking. Far walk (25-30 minute) to the old Town but I still think the quality of the place is worth the price.

Verte confortable and cozy apartament near the Old city of Dubrovnik, only 15 minutes walking. The room has everything you need, even a little kitchen where you can have breakfast.

This is the greatest option for lodging in this area. The host family is extremely kind, accommodating, and warm. I selected the apartment with the washing machine and full kitchen. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning unit worked really well. Tons of stairs to get to the apartment, so this is not suitable for those who have any sort of physical ailment or the elderly. Would visit here...

the view from the balcony was beautiful! Very friendly owners, made us feel extremely welcome. Clean, safe, and quite private as well as it’s up a pretty hefty flight of stairs Overall really enjoyed our stay

Our stay in House Nikolina was outstanding, the host Antonio was attentive and welcomed us openly and kindly. Being our first time in Croatia, their place set the tone for an amazing vacation! 100% will recommend

Wonderful guest house We had a wonderful stay here! The room was clean, and it’s perfectly situated between Old Town and Lapad. Highly recommend this place!

Very welcoming Nikolina and her family are lovely and very welcoming, they couldn't do enough for us. The room was clean and very nicely decorated. We even had juice in the fridge and sweets! Everything was great about our stay. Loved getting back after an evening out and sitting on the lovely terrace with a glass or two of wine. The steps up are quite strenuous but happy to do some extra steps for...

This was a very clean room and beautiful view of the sea! Although only 20 minute walk to the Old town, it’s all uphill on the way back. Also has many stairs to climb from main road back to apartments and especially difficult to manage with luggage. The uber drivers had a hard time locating as well. Be prepared to walk many steps to and from this property. We stayed in a double room which did have...

Beautiful location! I had booked for 5 nights and the accommodation is great

The neighborhood is very nice. Lots of restaurants, bars, cafes are really close. You can get anywhere in town on the bus easily.

Everything was perfect. The apartment is clean and has everything you need. It is close to public transport, supermarket, cafes and restaurants, and walking distance to lapad beach. Hosts are helpful and gracious. Will definitely stay again!

Nice room in really cute house. The room was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed. There is also private parking (it’s really important thing for us). The owners was really lovely and helpful. We loved the place, location, hospitality.

I loved this place more than I loved the city itself! Leo was wonderful and the space was so clean and comfortable, lovely and had everything I needed! Would absolutely recommend staying here, especially to avoid the chaos of Old Town!

Super friendly host, very clean apartment, well located for visiting the city, private parking space Very good stay

If you take Uber, it is very easy to move to old town but If you would like to move by foot, It is not necessary to go to gym. The balcony view was one of my best view to see sunset and the beautiful scenery of Dubrovnik. I would like to stay again definitely when I visit Dubrovnik later.

Wow! So as long as you're ok with a few (ok maybe more than a few!) steps...you will have THE best view of Dubrovnik Old Town, lovely accommodation, amazing host, very informative, staying here means you get the amazing views and are just a few minutes walk from the incredible old town, & if the steps concern you, it's €9 from the bottom to the apartment, we definitely did this a few times! Showers...

Beautiful location. Wonderful host. Use the common deck for the sunset!

Incredible view from my balcony! But you pay the price with walking up those stairs :P. Very helpful host who lives on site. Very close walk to old town. Host offered taxi service for my arrival and I'm glad I did. There's no way I would find the place on my own at night.

We loved our stay at Guesthouse Home Sweet Home with an amazing host Zrinka. It has a bit of steps to get up to but it was well worth it with amazing views of Old Town and Lokrum Island at your door step. Amenities were good enough for us on a short trip and a small kitchenette was handy too. Thanks to Katarina too for helping with any queries we had along the way

Great view outside the balcony. A lot of walking up the steps but totally worth it.

This is the best guesthouse in Dubrovnik, not too far from the old town. It has easy access to the old town by bus, taxi, or walk if you prefer. Also, you get great harbour views, which are stunning. The host is very friendly, helpful, and professional. On arrival, the host drove me around the city and told me all the tourist attractions and foods to try. I highly recommend anyone travel to Dubrovnik...

Stayed here over easter time had an amazing time, host was extremely helpful drove us everywhere and welcomed us with drinks, great experience

I highly recommend this place! The host is helpful and friendly. He offered a ride to the Old Town and ensured our comfort throughout our stay. The rooms are clean and nice, and the neighborhood is convenient and quiet.

Work outside my bedroom happened late at night. Tv wasn't working. The host was very hospitable though.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at this guest house! The two owners (husband and wife) are super helpful. If you tell them what you hope to do they will offer recommendations and even drove us to a restaurant one night. The guest house is on a quiet residential street. They have a terrace with a nice view of the bay/port. The bus stop to a main line into Old Town or downtown is about a 5 minute...

We stayed on the street level in a small room. There was a small area below to sit outside and eat if you had your own food. The location of the property was not easily accessible to local transportation, so we had to use Uber most of the time. The people were there to check us in when we arrived, but we couldn't find them otherwise until we left.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 6 days at the beginning of September. The host is very nice and explains to you cool stuff around the area and how to use the bus system. Old town is about a 15 min bus ride, just use the #6 bus and buy a bus ticket at one of the kiosks around. There are multiple different rooms, but the one we got had a large bed, a mini fridge and a microwave. Our place didn’t have...

Great stay and most helpful host, helped with buses and activitys and showed me where to find an affordable supermarket, Nice size room with lots of amenities like fridge, kitchen and Microwave. Well worth the asking cost of the room and will recommend to any friend visiting Dubrovnik

Great guest house. High in the hill, great vuew

Stevie was a great host!!! He was funny and very hospitable along with his mum!! Close to lapad and was very helpful with knowledge of the area!!! Would definitely stay again... Croatia is a must see and the people are lovely

Had a great week stay great value and loved the quietness after the busy city will definetely be back

Rooms are a bit outdated, but all is clean and good price for money in Dubrovnik. 25min to the beach and same to the city center. We walk a lot, so it was good for us. Keep in mind it is on the hill. But the view from the balcony is very nice. Recommend.

Great location to visit the whole of Dubrovnik.. Very lovely lady..

We really enjoyed our stay at Guesthouse Victoria. The hosts are fabulous and the room was clean and tidy. It is up a hill so if carrying suitcases be warned. The only downside is the bathroom is not connected to the room. It is right next door and private (and also incredibly modern and clean) so it wasn’t to much of an issue. Great views from the balcony.

Very lovely guesthouse. It is great for the cost. Anna is lively as well. It is about a 25 min walk into old town. Or you can take the number 8 bus to and from the guest house. The bus stop is right down the stairs. There is a grocery store down the street, and an atm. For the first time visiting Dubrovnik, this place was a great choice.

Nice and very clean place. The owner is a very friendly old lady. We very much enjoyed our stay here in Dubrovnik.

Really lovely owners and friendly guesthouse. What follows is just me being very picky, and is entirely subjective! A little way out of town and up a hill, which is not ideal for someone as lazy as me. Bathroom was off the corridor (but just for us), but I would prefer en-suite. Teabags and showergel would be appreciated. Also the pillows were excessively thick for me

We spent our holiday in Guest House Steel, it's located in a quiet place with a wonderful view of the sea. The street is narrow so parking is a bit difficult. The rooms are clean and comfortable! There are only minor problems: the couch cannot be pulled out and the toilet seat is a little crooked. You should ask for a broom and a mop if you need them. All in all, we had an amazing time there!

Excellent stay , very close to a small beach and 15 minutes walkable distance to old town. Best part is waking up to the sunrise in bedroom and panoramic sea view. Loved it

Very nice and friendly stuff, great view👌👌👌

Location is excellent, parking is good, room was comfy and Zana who greeted us was lovely and very helpful.

Perfect location. Place was clean

Amazing views from the balcony

Super nice location and host Nicola is very friendly! Very basic accomodation but for the price this is very good. 7€for an uber to the old town.

Really great place everything is close by 2 grocery stores, beach , bus stops pretty much everything u need. The owner Nikola is super nice gave us ice cream and free shots. The place itself is nice feels like you’re staying at your grandparents house.Would definitely recommend staying here👍

A good stay at a fair price for high season in Dubrovnik. Stopped for 1 night July 2023. The property is relatively easy to reach from the bus station. It looks quite a distance on the map but it really isn't too far, as the bus stops just down the road. The walk up to the property is via quite a steep hill or some steps but it's easy if you're fit. The owner was a very friendly man and gave us a shot...

Came here for a couple of nights, it has a lovely view from the balcony This was a reasonable price with the host being welcoming and offering shots. The property has a small supermarket only 5 minutes walk away and not much further you get the no6 bus into the centre. It's about half hour walk to bus station,? Good few restaurants all on one street within 5 mins walk and a further 5 mins has a beach...

The location was close to transportation to old town Dubrovnik and the view was fantastic. Nicola welcomed me with a shot of rakija and tried to accommodate in every way. They kept my bags until 9 PM!

Maria and Nikola are very warm and nice!

The bathroom is a little bit small

I stayed at the single room. It was just 23 euro! (Because it was winter!) It has many facilities. You can use hair drier, refrigerator, coffee port etc. Its location is also good! At the one wall in her house, there were lots of letter from tourist.(Many of them were Korean and Japanese. This accomodation is famous among korean) Linda was very kind and her kids were so lovely. I bought some beef and...

Fantastic apartment with breathtaking views. Ran by Dominik and his lovely family. It was equiped with everything we needed and the bed was super comfy. Most importantly, the air conditioning was a lifesaver! The walk to old town is all downhill and only take ~20 minutes. . To get back either get the number 3 bus or a taxi for

Very comfortable house just next to the main road. Only disadvantage the walking distance from city center and the 500 stair steps!

We stayed at Guest House Kono in May, 2025. The location is great, about a 20 minute walk to the Old Town. There are a lot of steps, all downhill on the way to Old Town. There is a reserved parking spot on the street just above the apartment. The kitchen is not well appointed, so I wouldn't plan on doing a lot of cooking during your stay. The apartment was clean, and comfortable for 4 people. There...

Guest House Kono was a great location for a quick visit to Dubrovnik. We walked to and from the old town without an issue. The view is fantastic and the balcony was the perfect spot for enjoying the morning and evening after a day around Dubrovnik. The parking is a bit tight for a full size car, but it is doable. At the time we were there, the balcony slider was not lockable which was a bit unnerving...

The views were spectacular! The owner of the property was such a great person. We really enjoyed our time here

Amazingly clean, comfortable, well decorated, new and great view. Great value. Wi-Fi signal was excellent. Parking spot excellent and off the main road. Washer was very convenient to have. All the extras included like washing detergent, softener even some basic toiletries like after sub lotion. Not within walking distance. Must drive or take bus. One way to the beach is realistically 30 min walking...

Very cozy and close to many important shopping places. Friendly and helpful hosts. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The room was nice and clean, and there was a large terrace with a great view of the town. Minor complaint: The light in the bathroom was turned on by a sensor and turned off automatically after only a few minutes, meaning that we had to take showers in the dark or step out to wave at the sensor now and then. Quite inconvenient. Major complaint: As others have mentioned here, payment is cash only....

Its a good spot to explore the city with a good walking distance. However, you get what you pay for. The room is quite small and old. The most anoying is the really loud wind that blows every night in the area and blows through the windows. The bed is also not so comfotable. The owner is kind. It is not to spent time there, just as a place for sleeping.

Great location with everything needed for an extended stay. Clean and tidy. One thing I'd would've liked were the instructions on how to utilise the drying component of the washer/dryer.

Guest House Cesic was clean, quiet and had a terrific view. Do not have your driver drop you off at stairs. Have him go to the street above the stairs. Much easier. Deka the house manager was terrific. She accommodated all of us with a smile. It was walking distance to bus stop to old town. So overall we had a great time here.

Average. Room was clean. Bathroom was not. Lots of mould in the shower and dirty shower and bathroom in general. Pretty noisy with other guests getting back at like 2am which woke us up.

Nice and accomodating host, doesnt speak english all that well but we understood each other. Small rooms with comfortable beds. A little noisy since the walls are pretty thin, shared bathroom, fair price. Would recommend for short stay if all you want is a place to sleep.

The lady was really nice and helpful, and the place itself is situated almost near the centre of the old town. Would recommended to people who want to spend less on the posh and luxury and more in a close-to-authentic experience. Satisfied

Less than 20 mins walk to old town. Room and bathroom good but slightly lumpy bed.

The room was small and space was easily taken up by our 2 suitcases.

The owner (lady) is friendly and pleasant. The room was more than adequate but did not have a television and the WiFi was okay. The only complaint I have is the 75 meter walk up a hill to access the property. But is convenient to public transportation and restaurants and bars. For the value for my money it was well worth it.

The lady (owner) is friendly and pleasant. She keeps her rooms and property clean. I was fortunate to have a room with a terrace and private bathroom. The only complaint is that you have to walk about 75 meters up a hill to get to the property.

Although the rooms do not have television, I did have a room with a terrace and private bathroom. The owner is very friendly and pleasant. The only negative thing is that when returning to this establishment it requires walking up a hill of about 75 meters.

My room was simple with a refrigerator and terrace along with a private bathroom. There is no television but everything I needed to enjoy my stay, and the room is quite clean. The owner even did my laundry for a nominal fee. She is quite pleasant. My only complaint is that the bathroom is adjacent to another bathroom with a shower that has a screened window to mine for ventilation and you can hear...

We stayed at Kusalo for three nights and it was excellent, comfortable beds, equipped kitchen and calm pool. Friendly host and accessible in terms of availability and language. In the simplest terms, it fulfilled its purpose. a little difficult to find, even with a map, for those of us who don't know it, at night, it was a boring adventure. Take advantage of the fact that you can walk and discover...

Nice property close enough to town that you can walk or catch a taxi. Very nice room, clean, and with good air conditioning. I recommend this place if you are staying in Dubrovnik!

This is a lovely guest house with four rooms, a warm swimming pool, with a great location, 15-20 minutes walk from the Old Town, 10 minutes from the Port and bus station and nearby Lapad. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the aircon works very well. There is a supermarket, bakery and cafes and restaurants in the streets adjacent to it. Owners were friendly and very hospitable

This is a lovely guest house with four rooms and a warm swimming pool 20 minutes walk from Dubrovnik Old Town and 10 minutes walk from the Port, also easily walkable to Lapad. Rooms and pool were also clean and the aircon works very well. The owners are really nice and friendly.

This was a cheap place to stay so not expecting much but for the money it was ok and the location was excellent

Ok place to stay and very affordable. It was a bit hard to know who works in there and how to get checked in and get the room and keys etc. Room was OK as I was not expecting any luxury. It was quiet and I slept well and felt safe to stay. Location is a short bus trip (or a long walk) away from the old town and tourist spots. There are stores near the apartment. Overall a budget friendly option to...
