This is the greatest option for lodging in this area. The host family is extremely kind, accommodating, and warm. I selected the apartment with the washing machine and full kitchen. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning unit worked really well. Tons of stairs to get to the apartment, so this is not suitable for those who have any sort of physical ailment or the elderly. Would visit here...

This was a very clean room and beautiful view of the sea! Although only 20 minute walk to the Old town, it’s all uphill on the way back. Also has many stairs to climb from main road back to apartments and especially difficult to manage with luggage. The uber drivers had a hard time locating as well. If you take Uber, it is very easy to move to old town but If you would like to move by foot, It is not necessary to go to gym. The balcony view was one of my best view to see sunset and the beautiful scenery of Dubrovnik. I would like to stay again definitely when I visit Dubrovnik later.

Wow! So as long as you're ok with a few (ok maybe more than a few!) steps...you will have THE best view of Dubrovnik Old Town, lovely accommodation, amazing host, very informative, staying here means you get the amazing views and are just a few minutes walk from the incredible old town, & if the steps concern you, it's €9 from the bottom to the apartment, we definitely did this a few times! We loved our stay at Guesthouse Home Sweet Home with an amazing host Zrinka. It has a bit of steps to get up to but it was well worth it with amazing views of Old Town and Lokrum Island at your door step. Amenities were good enough for us on a short trip and a small kitchenette was handy too. Thanks to Katarina too for helping with any queries we had along the way

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at this guest house! The two owners (husband and wife) are super helpful. If you tell them what you hope to do they will offer recommendations and even drove us to a restaurant one night. The guest house is on a quiet residential street. We stayed on the street level in a small room. There was a small area below to sit outside and eat if you had your own food. The location of the property was not easily accessible to local transportation, so we had to use Uber most of the time. The people were there to check us in when we arrived, but we couldn't find them otherwise until we left.

Guest House Cesic was clean, quiet and had a terrific view. Do not have your driver drop you off at stairs. Have him go to the street above the stairs. Much easier. Deka the house manager was terrific. She accommodated all of us with a smile. It was walking distance to bus stop to old town. So overall we had a great time here.

Average. Room was clean. Bathroom was not. Lots of mould in the shower and dirty shower and bathroom in general. Pretty noisy with other guests getting back at like 2am which woke us up.

The location is between the old town and the bus terminal, a 25-minute walk, and the house is relatively easy to find. The boss was very nice and communication was no problem. My flight was delayed and I missed the check-in time, but I still checked in smoothly.

Nice stay Nice place. Clean and basic, with small bathrooms, and comfortable beds. Good value. No parking nearby, so that may be problematic for people who want to leave and return by car. The walk to Old Town is an easy downhill mile or so, taking 15 minutes. We UBER back for 8 Euros. Don’t take a cab, as they charged 25Euros.

It was very convenient and a nice and cool guest house. Staff were lovely and we were able to keep our bags there during the day for a later evening bus after check out. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely guest house with four rooms, a warm swimming pool, with a great location, 15-20 minutes walk from the Old Town, 10 minutes from the Port and bus station and nearby Lapad. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the aircon works very well. There is a supermarket, bakery and cafes and restaurants in the streets adjacent to it. Owners were friendly and very hospitable

Really nice location and very clean and spacious rooms. Rooms come with air-conditioning to survive the summer heat and they have a little kitchenette area for basic cooking. Far walk (25-30 minute) to the old Town but I still think the quality of the place is worth the price.

Verte confortable and cozy apartament near the Old city of Dubrovnik, only 15 minutes walking. The room has everything you need, even a little kitchen where you can have breakfast.

The studio apartment was very clean. The bed was comfortable and firm. Air con worked. Bathroom was clean and the shower was powerful. The little garden is pleasant and fragrant due to the tomato plants growing in it. It felt safe and secure.

The location was close to transportation to old town Dubrovnik and the view was fantastic. Nicola welcomed me with a shot of rakija and tried to accommodate in every way. They kept my bags until 9 PM!

Very clean room, the stairs to get to the room from the entry has no handrail, it may be hard for some people. The owner was a great guy. I had fallen prior to arriving and injured my knee. The Owner took all our luggage from the Main Street and brought it up and brought it down for us. What great guy! One note from the Main Street to the hotel room it is 61 steps so it was a bit of a hard clim

What a brilliant location! Right in the middle of the Old Town city walls, near to the shuttle bus to the airport. A lovely old, well converted city home with ensuite bathroom. Very nice place! Has a basic kitchen with fridge if needed. Rooms are clean and comfy. Toilets are shared but good an usually empty. Location is just minutes from the port, in a street that is a nightmare if you are by car (no space for 2 cars, have to back up to let cars through) and parking is hard as the space is steep and narrow. There are buses close by if you are by foot.

Location has a great view but is atop a large Hill overlooking dubrovnik, the room was clean and featured a bed and wardrobe, toilets were down the hill. The host was very friendly and offered a transfer to the airport for 25kn/person.

A good place to stay. very new and clean. The hostel is a little far from the old town and there are many climbs, but it's easy to catch the bus and if you have a car is more easy.

We really enjoyed our stay at Guesthouse Victoria. The hosts are fabulous and the room was clean and tidy. It is up a hill so if carrying suitcases be warned. The only downside is the bathroom is not connected to the room. It is right next door and private (and also incredibly modern and clean) so it wasn’t to much of an issue. Very lovely guesthouse. It is great for the cost. Anna is lively as well. It is about a 25 min walk into old town. Or you can take the number 8 bus to and from the guest house. The bus stop is right down the stairs. There is a grocery store down the street, and an atm. For the first time visiting Dubrovnik, this place was a great choice.

Really lovely owners and friendly guesthouse. What follows is just me being very picky, and is entirely subjective! A little way out of town and up a hill, which is not ideal for someone as lazy as me. Bathroom was off the corridor (but just for us), but I would prefer en-suite. My boyfriend and I stayed here for 6 days at the beginning of September. The host is very nice and explains to you cool stuff around the area and how to use the bus system. Old town is about a 15 min bus ride, just use the #6 bus and buy a bus ticket at one of the kiosks around. The staff here were absolutely phenomenal and really went the extra mile. They allowed me to leave my bike in a cardboard box for courier collection after I had left, and then helped me retrieve an item and repacked the box for me when I was in a pickle! Great option. Staff is friendly (Special shout out to Carlos). Rooms are decent in size. They have ample common areas and proper kitchen, dining tables, pots and pans, etc (though cutlery is a little inadequate). Enough separate bathrooms and WCs so you have availability for the guests. Best part is the location. It is midway between the bus station and the Port, and you can reach either in 5-8 minutes...

We didn’t stay here, however we arrived too early to check into our accommodation until later in the city walls. The staff allowed us to keep our big rucksacks there for a few hours and were very kind. They also gave us tips on Dubrovnik and told us what bus to get and how much. They didn’t charge us for this and we are very grateful!
