Great staff very clean and fabulous views and outdoor areas . Food was good for breakfast but very basic lunch and dinner. Evening entertainment was good fun

So we arrived at 12 and waited till 3 to get a room, however, when checked in, the phone didn’t work. Phone, remote control, door handles, light switches all really dirty. I walked down to reception and asked for phone to work - we stayed there (room 433) 3 nights… no one came to fix it. The cleaner came up but literally used a dirty cloth to clean the remote, remained filthy… overall if you’re looking for a tiny shower (just like Ibis) then this is suitable. It’s not really a 3 star. But it is in good location from airport (10 mins drive) and a 30 mins drive Into old town. Best to rent a car, roads are great. Otherwise, staff are polite, service is good.

We booked a quiet two weeks in this hotel adt the end of thr season. After a few days of rain and high winds, the weather improved so we took to the sun beds. The pool area then filled with helium balloons so it couldnt be used. Hundreds im white tshirts arrived swarming around the pool area and beach rendering this area impossible to use. This carried on for two days. Loud rock and dance music all day and night. Stuff the people who came for their holidays.

We were anxious about our visit based on reviews of this hotel - totally unfounded. If you want a full English breakfast, maybe don't go to Croatia! That said, there was a lovely lady frying fresh eggs each morning. There was also cereal, a variety of fresh fruit, freshly made pancakes with various toppings, plenty of fresh bread for toast or sandwiches and cheese, ham etc. Room was lovely and clean and spacious (we did have a deluxe room with balcony). We found all the staff polite and friendly. Beautiful location, 15 mins easy walk to centre of Cavtat.

The staff were reluctantly friendly. The room was surface clean. There are no full double beds, as told all beds are two singles put together. Bathroom was tiny, deep clean needed really, corners, doors, skirting etc. sofa had stains. Breakfast was good. Good choices, fresh foods. Best thing power shower, balcony view, but no hangers given. Broken drawer, broken hooks to keep doors open on balcony. Just lack of maintenance really. Free tea and coffee all day with B&B. Best thing, power shower, location, breakfast, diversity of people, some staff at bar were lovely, reception bit off. Not really noisy, so handy to Cavtat which is lovely, locals friendly, boat ride to Dubrovnik lovely, water clean and lovely. Went in October and it rained and cold ish 4 days out of 7. Would definitely come back to Cavtat but not this hotel. It fitted a 3 star definitely.

This trip was for our 40th Wedding Anniversary. Our travel agent specifically advised the hotel that we were celebrating our special anniversary with this hotel. However despite our cards being displayed in our room - no acknowledgment of our anniversary was made! When we were leaving however the hotel cleaning staff asked us to place some lovely biscuits in the room for the next guest after us! We requested a balcony which was also completely ignored and were placed at the back of the hotel! We requested first floor room as my husband has had a knee replacement! This was ignored too! All in all not a very memorable special experience for us both!!

We absolutely loved our stay here, excellent value, beautiful location, and very helpful staff. The rooms were a good size and beds were comfortable, also breakfast was included.

By returning to this complex many times over the past few years makes clear our satisfaction.
But on this occasion my request for room in block B was denied and we were placed in block D on top floor. We had gone All inclusive as usual and a returning guest undermined by reception staff. The room, although clean and tidy, was alot smaller than that of our previous stay and the bathroom was the smallest I'd ever encountered. Thinking of trying their other hotel Albatros next time 4star

Goodness. Reviewers on this website can be such divas. I’ve no idea what people expect from a 3* all-inclusive. Providing you are not expecting 5* treatment Hotel Epidaurus is great. Returned a month a go from a 10 night stay with family of 4, 2 adults, 2 kids (young teenager and soon to be teen). Promised myself I’d write an honest review as some of the postings here are frankly misleading in my opinion. • The catering is NOT repetitive. Yes, they would always have the standard chips/salad etc. But for each night there was always plenty of different options which varied throughout our holiday. Yes, if you wanted pizza / meat from the BBQ there was a small line. But we’re talking a few minutes here. I think the maximum I stayed in line was 5mins, maybe twice in 10 days. • The soft drinks aren’t “undrinkable”. Not your standard Coca Cola, Sprite etc, but I wouldn’t necessarily expect this from an all-inclusive. As long as you can stomach off brand pop = no issues (my kids were very fond of the Epidaurus Sunrise cocktails). • Wine was very good for an all-inclusive, beer decent enough, cocktails good. • Reception and bar staff were friendly, served quickly and without issues. • A point I will agree with is the animators are definitely geared towards French speaking guests. So if this is your jam be aware. Personally, I loved it. Meant we didn’t have to engage in all the “fun”. But I’m an old dude from the UK so your milage may vary. • The pools were small? If, pre booking, you didn’t review all images including pictures taken by hotel guests that’s on you. Yes, they weren’t massive, but we had loads of fun swimming and not too crowded. • Lovely location, 15 minute walk along the coast to Cavtat. Ubers into Dubrovnik were regular and cheap. • The sea here was AMAZING. Warm, calm, clear. Perfect for snorkelling (just make sure to bring sea shoes). The sunsets probably the best I’ve seen ever. Truly beautiful. • Rooms were decent enough. With 4 of us it did get a little cramped at times. But if, like us, you spend very little time in it then who cares. Do make sure to mention if you have mobility issues, as we did get housed on the dreaded far side of the complex, which meant a lot of stairs to climb. But hey, works off all the all-inclusive calories! Again, Epidaurus isn’t catering to 5* guests, so expect facilities in line with that. But I’d easily recommend this place. All in all we had a blast 9/10.
