Perfect place for summer vacation. Close to the beach and city center. Great modern rooms with AC and very friendly staff, especially Tin and Barbara. We will be comming back next summer for sure.

Although the location is good the stay was disappointing! The hostel is not like in pictures!
Don’t like to engange in false statements. But, we paid every penny that was asked from us.

Lovely family hostel. The lady owner is such a sweetheart. I love animals and being around the cats and dogs made me really happy. Quiet place if you enjoy it. Close to the beach.

The air conditioning stops working frequently even after the doors and windows are closed. And on top of that, it cannot be controlled from the room. Only the staff can control it and every time we need to go down two floors to ask them to control it. The provided phone number for help only asked to go downstairs. It's very annoying and unpleasant. Although it was 22°c outside, but the room temperature was 28°c and it was not possible for us to sleep with the windows open because of mosquito, insect etc. It might be worse in dorms.

The best thing is the location of the hostel and it's parking facility. You can park your car in the hostel free and explore Makarska on foot. Also the behaviour of the lady was really really nice. She also treated us with a welcome drink.

By mistake, I booked and paid for a single room with a bathroom from September 16th to 20th and arrived at the hostel on the same dates in August. I asked the host if I could get anything available since I had already paid 182 euros and could add more according to current prices. He said there's an available bed in a dormitory for 49 euros per day and that, according to him, it would be humane to compensate the price of the 182 euros that was already paid for 4 days, plus an additional amount based on current prices, but he needed to confirm with the manager. The manager said she couldn't agree and that I would have to pay an additional 100 euros if I wanted to stay at the hostel, on top of the 182 euros I had already paid. A typical example of greed at any cost, where profit matters exclusively and not humanity. Recommendation to avoid the location.

The location is great, it is close to the center and beaches are not far away. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Disliked · Parking space was not good, for the price of 15 euros a day you would expect more. You can't move your car when you want to because they block you with other cars. I would not recommend parking your car there. Even when we wanted to go home we had to wait an hour for them to move other cars so that we can leave.
