Location is fair and not far from downtown. Staff is nice. Breakfast has many choices but not in good quality. Room is a bit old and not clean enough.

The staffs are welcoming. They helped me with car parking and luggage. The breakfast is fair, with various choices. The only downside is the price drop of the room we booked. There is a price drop of over 40 euros on the day of arrival. So it is better to use We Price Match to claim the differences.

Everithing perfect. Room very clean and hotel also. Location perfect. Brekfast lot of varieties. Room on the 8 floor with balcony overlooking the sea 👍

Fantastic, beautiful hotel,  excellent swim, pool, indoor and outdoor,  will definitely visit again, only downfall for a five star hotel. You have to pay for the parking even though they have plenty of space,

Very nice, modern, well-equipped hotel in a great location. If you like swimming this is a great place to do it. x2 pools and the sea literally on your (back) doorstep. Sea temperature approx. 22-23°C in October, water quality excellent. i.e. very clear and calm. Hotel staff very efficient and professional.

Fantastic hotel stayed 10 nights with my husband. Very clean in all areas, food outstanding with great professional friendly staff. Loved the infinity pool and various sun terraces lots to do in the hotel. We are looking to return as loved it. We would say it is a 5 star hotel rather than 4 star. It was amazing, the food was delicious. It's really cool they have games to different age of people. The beach was so closed so you don't have to walk miles. The staff was really kind, if you needed help they helped you. I 100% recommend this hotel. Me and my family sure will come back.

This place offers piece of mind a great vacation! The location in Mallarska by the sea with easy access to the beach and lovely pool area with sea view and great mountains on the other side. This was our second stay here at Places Makarska and it was just as good as our first. Love the concept of the hotel and the casual, easy going vibe. No queueing for tables, food or drinks this truly is a place to relax. Rooms are great, they have all the basics you may need for a stay plus some additional items available by request. Lovely hotel, staff are very nice and the facilities are lovely and clean. The food is very nice and the half board is flexible. The hotel is in a great location - near lots of shops and restaurants. The only drawbacks are that there isn’t much storage in the rooms (standard double) and the air con is capped (although we appreciate it’s for the environment).

The hotel was really lovely and clean staff were nice. Nikolas the barman around the pool was friendly and attentive. Antun the other barman was outstanding he was super friendly not only were his bar skills fantastic he also recommended good places to visit and reserved us a table at diva Gastro, which I recommend too. Fantastic stay at this hotel. Right at the beach! So many restaurants and bars nearby. Small convenience shops are nearby too. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, lovely staff, good housekeeping, yummy breakfast and superb facilities within the hotel.

Fantastic hotel, the rooms were absolutely spotless, food was excellent and the staff couldn't do enough for you. The view from the room was stunning looking directly out to sea.

Poor communication at check-in. Long queue late at night. Night staff didn’t speak English. Sofa bed wasn’t made for the kids — no pillows or sheets. The porter, who didn’t speak English, refused to give out bedding and just said “self-service.” A bad start. Next day, the housekeeping manager fixed everything perfectly. Day staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent for a tourist hotel...

Ideal location, with parking (however quite expensive). Hotel is somewhat quite modern, decent rooms and clean. Spa is quite small and the pool was freezing. Decent options for breakfast however food was uncovered and there were alot of flies. When asking for extra bananas, the staff were quite rude. These were the only services we used. However due to the location I'd recommend.

Our stay in Makarska was great, the town has plenty going on, in the evening there are lots of restaurants to chose from, catering for all tastes and budgets. There was a live band in the square by the church each night and good buzz around the harbour. Huge comfortable clean rooms. Fab position. Wonderful staff who are helpful and friendly. Great breakfast. My only criticism would be to cut the music played in the public spaces, it’s not intrusive but a bit annoying! There is underground parking, a small gym, indoor pool and jacuzzi, outdoor pool. The beach is about a 4 minute walk away. I would stay here again with no hesitation.

I have reviewed Miramare before and am very happy to notice that the high standards from previous visits continue to be met. The staff are very professional and courteous both front of house and in accommodation. The breakfast buffet is excellent and is continuously refreshed and well stocked. We had a noise issue around a wedding and my complaint about this was very well handled.

This aparthotel is in a great location overlooking a very pretty harbour. The beach is just a few steps behind the aparthotel. It has great facilities with very spacious rooms with the added benefit of kitchen facilities.

Room was clean, but need to clean all the small spaces, also it is need some protection for mosquitoes, update the furniture.

Great location, for the price the hotel offers decent rooms newly equipped with air-conditioning. Good food and well organised buffet breakfasts and dinners. Excellent cleaning service. Yes, the hotel buildings were built some time ago, but that does not spoil the overall positive experience.

Hotel,pavilony Rivijera is the best of my stays in 30 years on the shore in Croatia-green trees, park surround ,quiet, near the see, very Kinde and profesionel personeel, very good choois of meels. SUPPER HOLLIDAY!!!!!!

I will start with the good experiences. The staff is friendly, prices are good. Rooms are cozy and we'll kept. Bathrooms are ok. You can play minigolf, ping pong, tenis, basketball and football for free. It's very close to the beach and restaurants / bars. The food is exceptional. For the price it's just so good. Mainly their mini cakes / desserts you can try at the dinner. Breakfasts are great too...

Great place near sea, not luxury but has anything you need!!

One of the cleanest hotels we've stayed in. The apartments are beautiful, big, with a beautiful balcony and kitchen. The food is excellent in the hotel. The staff is super friendly and the cleaners are up to the task.Bed is super comfy and soft.

We thought of going to larger room but she said" I don't know how to do it I'm only night shift" next day changed room. This Hotel has nice spacious rooms for a family but o was suprised that the cleaning and breakfast was so bad. The hotel has four stars so we expected more. They didn’t wipe down the sides and didn’t make the beds. Just tossed on the covers. The breakfast had such a poor selection. No pancakes/waffles, and no omelets. It was okay. Rooms are nice and modern. Pools are fine but there was some black mold around the drain. Breakfast food is very average and not great quality.

The location is ca 1,5 km from Makarska centre. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff very friendly and very serviceminded. The breakfast was ok - however not som versatile. What a view! Great location at the end/beginning of the harbor basin. The apartment is very spacious and is well equipped. The cleanliness is also great, the staff very friendly and helpful. One star less because the mattress (for us) are too soft.

Remarkably beautiful port and mountain view . Very polite staff, especially cleaning Ladies- really welcoming. Rooms are nice and well equipped. Under the windows there is a restaurant; bustling and vibrant at night. I would very highly recommend :)

stayed for 1 night with a very early checkout. the reception asked if we would like breakfast wrapping up. the next morning we had so much more than we can have imagined, the care and consideration, the effort.... its the little things. it really warmed my heart, such a great hotel and staff. with all the delays in the airports it was much appreciated

The location of the hotel is excellent. In the middle of the Malecon and walking distance to the old town . A few issues . Room assigned had a strange shape . The beds were under a very low ceiling . We had to be very careful to stand up. Bed matress not comfortable. When we checked in, we asked about parking . We left our car outside the hotel and were told Ok to leave there , no payment needed...

Very good and inexpensive food, restaurant and hotel are located in an old stone building, with beautiful garden made from stones. It is my favourite place to eat in Makarska

We've had a lot of fun from here. Very, very nice hotel staff. It's my first time here, but I'll definitely be back. The tranquillity is guaranteed, the sea is a few steps and of course nice people everywhere. So dear Staff, thank you! P.S.: We're still here right now, and I'm not looking forward to it. A fantastic location near the waterfront, comfortable rooms, the building has some unexplored history.if you're in this area ,this hotel is a good idea.

Lovely hotel, lovely area, great beach! Staff were accommodating and room had what we needed (except coffee, bring your own!) with a balcony overlooking the sea front. Chairs with umbrellas available on the beach.

We had a lovely room facing the sea. The hotel is clean and well maintained. As luck would have it the manager is Swedish and we could converse and get tips about our day trips and POI.

The hotel is a five minute walk from the promenade and the beach. To the center 15 minutes slowly. Lots of cafes. On the waterfront you can choose an excursion for every taste. The honesty was a pleasure.

Great place to stay. Family run hotel looking down onto makerska . Near all amenities. Spotless and great selection for breakfast. No pool but the beach is nearby. Nothing is too much trouble and makes for a relaxing holiday .

Nice hotel in a decent location pretty close to beaches and restaurants, though it is approx. 1 km to the old town.

Spacious and comfortable studio apartment central to the Riva main front of the stunning Makarska. Clean and, although a bit dated, all you need. Excellent air con (needed!). We stayed in a sea facing studio with the most spectacular view!

My husband and I spent the night in this hotel. The room was clean and bed was very comfortable. But the best part was the balcony, it was the most AMAZING view ever we would definitely recommend the Opus room and if I'm ever in Makarska again we will spend it here. The girl on reception was very friendly too.

Breakfast was amazing - so much to choose from. Beach within 50 yards, restaurants very close by. Shops nearby, easy walk to town centre. Beds were very comfortable. Extremely clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I stayed at the Hotel Maritimo in Makarska in Oct, 2021 for 2 nights. The breakfast was fantastic! The staff at reception, breakfast and bar were terrific , girls at reception very helpful in finding out information about a bus to Ploce instead of riding my bike in extreme high winds. Really enjoyed my stay at the hotel..even the earthquake! Thank you so much for your help!

Very good and generous breakfast. Very comfortable room. Good geographical location, close to the beaches and the center.

Very friendly and supportive host. Super clean, quiet and well organize furniture. Nice sea view and garden view from the balcony. Only around 5-8 minutes walk to the central and the beach. We booked the room for 5 nights but decided to prolong it right after check in as everything is so lovely there. Unfortunately all was fully booked. Would love to come back again in our next vacation.
